It’s been five years since the River Scouts, and Zeke is finally fleeing to a remote snowboarding resort in Italy to escape his troubled past.
Unfortunately for him, trouble doesn’t like being so far away, and it soon chases after him in the form of a seventeen-year-old beauty that he’s not allowed to touch. One look at Nora, and he’s addicted.
Their game starts with watching each other, but it soon takes a murderous turn when Nora punishes Zeke by looking at other men. If he can’t have her, no one can.
As careful as he’s been, it’s not long before cops begin to suspect Zeke. On the night of Nora’s party, the police storm in, and Zeke must snowboard down the mountain to escape. Nora can choose to stay and celebrate or mix blood with snow and embrace the darkness with Zeke.
He knows she’s not innocent, but he has no idea how twisted her heart really is.

What does it say about me that i enjoyed this book so very much? 🤔 Zeke kills any man that gets close to Nora. Nora keeps sleeping with other men. They play off each other with a fierce devotion that's psychotic yet beautiful
This is probably my favorite novella of the year. Great plot, a mix of darker romance and thriller in one. Highly recommend if you want a quick, fun read! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Natasha Preston is one of my favorite authors. Although this isn't my favorite book she has written, I enjoyed the quick journey she took me on. Does it make me slightly crazy that I enjoyed how jealous Zeke was? Probably. And the fact he would unalive men who touched Nora? It’s a 🚩yet I enjoyed it. (I would NEVER accept that behavior in my real life) I did not know where this story was headed however it kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. It was a quick read full of top tier spice and chaos.
I absolutely loved it. I really enjoyed Zeke and how he embraced his dark side. I was a little surprised at Nora I didn’t think she had it in her. I expected the end though, which was a little disappointing but that was the only downer.
This was very different then the books im used to reading but her but I loved it she's my favorite author currently and I love everything of hers I've read so far!
very short story about a guy obsessed with a girl while working on a ski slope. She is underage (17) and knows how to tease Zeke to the point of madness (he kills the two people that she messes with) since Zeke is cautiously waiting until shes 18 (like 7 days) to have his way with her.

Definitely used to young adult thrillers by this author . So this was different . I usually really love her books . This was technically a novella .. it had potential if it had been a longer book. It was too rushed , I guess that’s a point of a novella though .
This book was just too short to really have much about it that was satisfying. The writing is good, I love Natasha Preston though. This isn’t her best book, but it’s also not her worst
