This one was the best so far, I love the chaotic feeling of this company and its stories .

Damnit!What the hell is this?
I red the 3 comics before this one and already ordered the fifth (and last issue) and I hope is gonna make sens.Having some kind of closure.
At first I’ve been interested in the style of drawing,it’s a bit blocky and uncut, but I do like it,but the story…..
It’s hard to say if it’s lame,a total wreck or a genius strike, hope to get my answer in the next issue.

The series can feel chaotic and hard to get a firm grasp on the world, but that’s kind of the point. Monkey Meat Island is not a hospitable place. Ba does do a good job of balancing one-off stories with developing some sense of continuity, mostly through the recurring character of Thaddeus Lug. I really like how Ba has developed him as a quite complicated figure — a hero that’s ultimately complicit in the exploitation of the island’s people and resources. The image on the back cover, contrasting a slumping, small Lug with a monument in his image is heartbreaking and visually communicates this core narrative thread running through the series perfectly.
