I had such high hopes for this book, but was left pretty disappointed. The information in the book is really basic - despite the title of the book making it sound more in-depth than it book actually is. I know my birth chart, and according to this book - my moon sign is different to my actual birth chart? Bit strange? Not entirely convinced.
It starts off with a lunar chart that is completely wrong. Not just a little off - it’s WAY off!
The rest of it is a roller coaster ride between bits of solid information and complete nonsense. The compatibilities, the descriptions…it’s all a complete toss of the dice.
Don’t waste your money or your time. There are far better books and resources on this topic.
I'm absolutely speechless and not in a good way. The methodology used to find your moon sign is not only confusing, but also inaccurate. The moon sign changes every two and a half days, at noon. So two people born on the same day can have two different moon signs depending on their time of birth. Also, location and time of birth is important, especially if you moved into a different time zone from your birth date. I'm just baffled why the author didn't suggest a website to calculate the moon sign.
This book is poorly organized, frustrating to read and doesn't offer any insight. I was under the impression this was about the moon and unlocking its code. This book transitions into sun signs. It feels like it was slapped together without much thought just for the sake of publishing a book. There are so many other amazing books out there on the moon in astrology and it's impact on your daily life.
Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
