Fall in love with Zach and Jen in this emotionally thrilling, romantic suspense story.
Jennifer is familiar with the words ‘let down’. Erotic, fun, Mystery thrilling
The story starts with a horrific event against Jen. Through that, the story opens to Zach, a solicitor with shares in the Dark Rooms, which specializes in Dom-Sub relationships. The story then moves to Joshua, Jen' brother whose past, and near prison stint has started this mess.
Zach helps Jen and brings her to his home because it is clear that she is still in danger. The sizzling chemistry between the lead pair is obvious in the pages there. But then danger from the past still lurks. Can Jen face it? How does Zach help her?
The relationship between the other males of the Dark Room and the way the relationship between the Dom-Sub was presented was interesting to read about. April was also a good character to read about.
The suspense from Stone's character about what he would do was well brought out.
Overall good suspenseful, erotic read with good character development.

Brilliant thriller story.
Jennifer's life has been filled with unexpected chaos. Life after her father's death and being left as sole guardian to her brother has proved very difficult. Their mother is not in the picture, and cruelly left them.
This story is filled with suspense and I found myself rooting for Jennifer and Zach the whole way through! It is very well written and beautifully executed to the page with great thought. This is an author I shall be reading again. Highly recomnend.

Love conquers all
After getting around the steamy graphic sex scenes, the story of hope, endurance, and patience wins over. It was a strong love story that shows that even though you have a hard childhood or just growing up in hard times God will pull you through and set you on top of a high rock.
It was a nice mix of crime with romance with romance winning on top.

Since her mum walked out on the family, and her father drank himself to death, Jennifer has had a tough time bringing up her eight-year-old brother, Joshua. She soon finds out that caring for a teenager is not an easy task, particularly when he is in and out of trouble with the police. When the man who led her brother into crime is released from jail he wants Joshua to continue working for him or to pay him off. He brutally attacks Jennifer to warn Joshua of what will happen if he doesn’t do as he is told. Zach Slater has pursued Jennifer for over a year, but she has resisted his advances so far. Distraught at seeing her so badly beaten Zach takes it upon himself to care for Jennifer and Joshua. Zach is a dominant man who is used to getting what he wants, but Jennifer is an independent woman with a mind of her own and she is used to taking care of herself. Will she accept the help and a romance from a man who is determined to become part of her life? I enjoyed this book and it’s well worth a read.

Loved it . What more can I say?! This isn’t the first book of Tracey Gerrard’s that I have read and again she excelled and did not disappoint. I loved it from start to finish… The story flowed, was well written and the characters were simply—yummy. Well done … Going to have to read more … well worth a read , and the 5 stars .

I loved this book. I was invested in the characters very quickly, and loved the dynamic between Zach and Jennifer. Her traumatic experiences have made a dent in her self-belief, but Zach’s unwavering support is hard to resist. The story is suspenseful and evocative, with some steamy hot scenes thrown in and an absolute psycho of an antagonist. Perfect ingredients for an enthralling read! I will be reading

This was such a powerful book, and it took me time to read! Zach and Jen were two people who had me interested. Had so many genres, and I loved how it was so well developed! I am not going to say much but it was so powerful because I had to lay my kindle, down a few times. So many emotions were going through Jen all through the book! I recommend this author.

Jennifer’s life has spiralled out of the light and into the darkness with the unfortunate circumstances which have come upon her. Working long hours as a waitress at The Dark Rooms is a long way from the white wedding dresses which she wanted to design, but desertion by her mother and the subsequent death of her heart-broken father—who turned to the bottle for comfort—has left her with no choice. Add to that trying to be guardian to her younger brother Joshua, vulnerable to the wrong influences and falling into a life of crime in the absence of parents and Jennifer not having enough hours in the day to be there for him as much as she’d like.
And that’s not all. She’s caught the attention of Zach, owner of The Dark Rooms and with a personal preference for the dominant-submissive services which his club facilitates for his clientele. He’s attractive, there’s no doubt about that, but self-reliant Jennifer finds it difficult to trust him, or anybody else for that matter, and rejects his advances. As the word ‘no’ doesn’t appear to be in Zach’s vocabulary where she’s concerned, they seem to be at a stalemate: and then the consequences of Joshua’s illegal activities come Jennifer’s way. Great Surprise Ending
Overall, this book had a lot of action, intrigue and it moved. Tracey Gerrard has a great talent for keeping the reader engaged and guessing as to who the attacker was. In my opinion and due to my personal preference in reading a book, there were way too many graphic sex scenes that weren’t needed in relation to the story. Other than that, it was a great read!

This is like a romance and suspense. Jennifer is attacked by a guy who got her brother in trouble a while back, but she doesn't know why he came back. Jennifer is pretty independent and not too trustful, but over time she bonds with Zach as he helps her.

Everything you'd want from a Multi-genre book
This is a new author for me, and I wasn’t disappointed. This is classified as erotic romance, but there’s a strong psychological thriller element that’s right up my alley.
Jennifer hasn’t had an easy life and has to shelve her dream of being a wedding dress designer to look after her kid brother after losing their parents. He’s always been a good lad but is going through the teenage rebellion stage. Kids get in with a bad crowd sometimes, and the more you try to guide them away, the more drawn they are. That’s where the nightmare starts.
Jennifer’s working all hours as a waitress looking after her brother and fighting off the advances of Zac, the good looking solicitor—who drinks an awful lot of coffee and won’t take no for an answer.
The book is tense, romantic, thrilling and heartwarming. The writing is strong and bang on-point for the genre. However, it’s the characters that make this book sing. I’ll be looking out for more from this talented author.

This is a good story, I promise you, once you start reading you won't stop.
The grammar is also flawless.
And the storyline is romantic and intriguing.

Hooked from the start!
With a suspenseful start to the book, I was hooked from the prologue! The storyline was interesting and kept me on a rollercoaster of subtle suspense. The romance was so perfect and tender...and spicy! The tension between the characters is just right. I was so addicted, I finished the book in 1 day! Highly recommend!

Nice read
When wedding dress designer Jen meets handsome Dom Zach sparks fly, but someone hell bent on revenge has Jen within their sights as well. Let me is a cross between Romance and Thriller. Jen comes across sweet with a gentle heart, while Zach, who is supposed to be a dominate comes across less Dom and more knight in shining armor. I enjoyed reading about Holly and Vlad from Tracey Gerrard's other book. Looking for a romance with a mystery to solve, I recommend adding Let Me to your to be read list.

When Jennifer is brutally attacked and left unconscious by the man who had lured her teenage brother into crime a few years back, she fears his return will be to act out the threat he delivered when he was arrested and sent to jail. Little does she know there’s more than one reason for his return.
Knowing she’s never been able to rely on anyone but herself, Jennifer struggles to accept help from Zach the man who has pursued her for nearly a year. Although Jennifer is a strong woman, her trust issues run deep but through the story you get to witness how she lets Zach in and between her healing from her attack and the dangers, which lie ahead, a loving relationship grows.
The author has done a fantastic job with attention to detail. This story is well thought out and keeps you wanting to turn the page as the suspense builds. The romance scenes are hot and steamy but tastefully described. Highly recommended! A must read!

Honestly, if reading about Zach and Jennifer in Let Me by Tracey Gerrard doesn't get you warm, nothing will.
These two take hot and steamy to another level. Their smouldering passion for one another is there from the beginning and you can't wait for them to admit their feelings and get together.
But life and circumstances, as well as danger, get in the way and their chance at true love might just be scuppered.
This is one of Gerrard's best.

Let Me by Author Tracey Gerrard is a romantic suspense novel introducing the reader to the main protagonists Jennifer (Jen) and Zach. Jen is a strong and independent female lead who has suffered a series of hard knocks throughout her life. She was abandoned by her mother and following the death of her alcoholic father she assumes parental responsibility for her teenage brother leaving little time to enjoy anything outside of the weight of responsibilities she carries. The stress of trying to hold everything together soon takes its toll and things go from bad to worse when Jen’s brother gets involved with the wrong crowd. Zach is a ‘Dom’ who isn’t used to women saying no and when he attends a party that Jen is waitressing at, the sparks fly and triggers Zach in re-evaluating his life. He considers what he wants from a relationship long term and his sights are set on Jen. Zach falls hard for Jen, realising what she could mean to him when he almost loses her following a brutal attack that leaves her hospitalised. Having been let down too many times, and with her attacker still at large, Jen is determined to keep the barriers up in order to protect herself and brother. On the whole this story is well written, with a few minor editorial issues that can occasionally distract, but are not significant enough to spoil the enjoyment of the story. The plot moves at a good pace and has plenty of drama, tension and romance to keep fans entertained and turning the pages. The characters are very credible, especially Jen and Zach and readers will very much invest in their story and want the best outcome for them. The dialogue is relevant and flows well. I also really enjoyed the brief appearance and connections to previous characters from the ‘Ain’t Nobody Series,’ which was a nice touch for this stand alone novel.

Jen and her little brother Joshua are all that each other have after their mother abandons them at an early age and then their father dies leaving Jen to work full time in order to keep a roof above her's and Josh's heads. At school Josh has got in the wrong crowd but it all resolves itself when a ruthless drug dealer has been sent to jail. However he gets out early and in revenge he brutally attacks Jen and she ends up in hospital. The attacker is on the run and Jen and Josh who have no where to go. That is until handsome mysterious Zach offers for the two of them to stay at his house. Zach who is used to be a Dom has fallen head over heels in love with Jen and as she slowly recovers she develops feelings for him too and eventually start a very steamy relationship. But with the threat of Jen's attacker still at large will their lives and their relationship survive? This is very well written, fast paced and sexy thriller. I was booked right from the start.

Let Me by Tracey Gerrard certainly hits the ground running with an explosive prologue! The characters form early and have depth - my favourite is Vlad. But the main characters Zach and Jen are dead cool. Zach normally keeps his women (all of them) at arms length and does not normally accept ‘no’ as an option, but is smitten with Jen. Jen likes her men … manly, but has more important things to worry about - and ‘no’ is definitely an option. And Joshua just needs a clip around the ear.
The violent scenes are violent, but not gratuitous. And the adult scenes are very pleasantly … adult, I loved the shenanigans of the private club - which I found more than a little erotic.
The plot continues to build throughout and does not slow or disappoint. Absolutely recommended for a cold winter’s evening.

An engaging romance
This well-written story is nicely paced, with enough suspense to keep you turning the pages. Jen, one-half of the two main protagonists, is a likeable character, and the author does a good job of portraying her spirit and resilience. Her strength is further shown in her battle-of-wills with Zach, a man who likes to be in control and sets his sights on her. My favourite element of the story was Jen’s touching relationship with her teenage brother, Joshua, for whom she’s mother, provider, and protector. If you enjoy romance, this is a book to curl up with.

I don't often dip into romance but this one caught my eye and had the extra edge of suspense, intrigue and action thrown in. I didn't mind the passion of the protagonists relationship and I really felt for Jen with the responsibilities to her brother that ultimately created the ordeal she was confronted with. I enjoyed the pace of the book and found the story engaging throughout. Excellent work 4.5 stars from me.
