Beneath Sheep's Clothing: The Communist Takeover of Culture in the USSR & Parallels in Today's America
Today in America, we are living in a time of war. The bedrock ideologies upon which America was founded have been purposefully subverted. Judeo-Christian ethics have been replaced with moral relativism. Love of God, country, and family have been replaced with love of the state, hatred of America, and new ideologies that threaten the family’s ongoing existence. Our media, entertainment, schools, and even churches have been tools for the communist takeover of our culture.
Once Russia fell to communism in 1917, the Soviet Union notoriously brainwashed its populace through anti-religious and communist propaganda in its State-run media and schools. It heavily persecuted Christians who didn’t comply with the communist order. Underground Soviet Baptists, Pentecostals, 7th-Day Adventists, and Jehovah’s Witnesses were treated with particular cruelty. And the USSR infiltrated its officially recognized churches with KGB agents cloaked as clergy – all in the attempt to gain absolute control of the beliefs of its populace.
Today in America, we are at the end-stages of communist subversion. Marxist forces are currently backing the training of 49.4 million American public-school children to become woke communist revolutionaries. From Critical Race Theory, Gender and Queer Theory, and the hyper-sexualization of kids to excessive operant conditioning via computerized adaptive learning curricula, as well as revisionist history, our children are being primed right now for the woke Communist Revolution!
Meanwhile, our churches are largely silent. In many cases, they have also been infiltrated with Marxist wolves in sheep's clothing - with social justice replacing the sacrifice of Jesus as the central doctrine - and traditional, Bible-believing churches subjugated to corrupt government edicts. No longer are America's churches promoters of liberty, and far too often, no longer do they even teach basic Biblical concepts as truth.
Further, the abysmal treatment of America’s minority fringe churches has served as a warning to all of the consequences of straying from the government-approved path for churches and bears a startling resemblance to treatment of fringe Christian movements in the USSR. In particular, once the Branch Davidians and FLDS (Fundamentalist Mormons) were labeled as “cults,” they were free game for unfair and one-sided treatment in the media as well as vigilante-style “justice” at the hands of law enforcement where due process went out the window.
Over a century ago, the communist playbook took root on American soil. Today we are seeing its fruit everywhere and are close to the final stages of communist takeover.
But not if we do something about it.
Now is not a time for complacency. It’s not a time to mind our own business or fear rocking the boat. Unless we are OK with the destruction of our free nation, the time is NOW to intimately understand the playbook of the enemy so we can foil the ravenous communist machine that has taken hold of our children, our churches, and our society!
This is not fiction. This is a wake-up call to the American people - to everyone with children in schools, to Christians, and to anyone who cares about freedom.

This is a great book and must read for people trying to understand how we are in the place we are. Most have no clue how many communists have infiltrated the churches. We’re fully aware of how they have done it in the schools, but this is a new level of Understanding. I’ve read many books on all these different topics and I feel like this is a great book to read if you’re trying to get started and understanding what is going on.
There is also a documentary of the same name that I would highly encourage people to watch. It’s not a complete repeat. But I love God’s timing in all things. Just a few weeks after finishing this book at city councilman used a quote from a pastor whose church was mentioned in this book. It was very eye-opening and helpful to see how it has even infiltrated the elected officials in a small city in West Texas.
It will be offputting if you’ve never read anything like this before. It might make you think it can’t be true. But outside of this book, there’s so much evidence you can find to see that if we do not start to expose the infiltration for what it is, we will lose the freedoms and liberties we have as citizens of the great nation. But more importantly, we are not doing our due diligence as Christians to be uneducated and unaware of how our enemy is destroying families, communities, churches, and the Core relationships that connect us to each other.

I appreciate the effort that went into the book, which seemed well researched. The first half was quite eye opening. The second half was a bit rougher and quite rangy. While no group should be oppressed, that also doesn’t mean we should support cults that are clearly anti the one, true God.
