Tiger-nanny

Rate this book
Little Tig loves children, but it seems that nobody wants to employ a tiger cub as a nanny. Then she is asked to take charge of the very naughty children of a famous film star, and they all get involved in a hijack and a kidnap. The author's many previous books include "Bogwoppit" and "Spid".

I want to give it a 5 for how much we've read and re-read this book, and for how often we quote it (my 5yo once said to me "you're not going to die mummy, put daddy on the phone" 😅) but it ends on some rather racist othering that could really stand to be updated away.

It was overly dramatic, with little character development to back it up. A far cry from Gobbolino the Witches' Cat.
