Hi! I am an American expat currently living in Amsterdam. After traveling extensively around Asia, Oceania, and Central America, I moved to Darwin, Australia, before finally settling in the Netherlands. When not writing, you can find me in a museum, biking around Amsterdam, or enjoying a coffee along the canal while planning my next research trip.
My love of travel, art, and culture inspires my award-winning Zelda Richardson Art Mystery series, Travel Can Be Murder Cozy Mysteries, and Carmen De Luca Art Sleuth Mysteries.
Reading the next 3 books in the series didn’t disappoint. Lana has become quite the tour guide, and murder mystery solver. The fact that she hasn’t been to these places, Scotland, Rome and Ireland, means we get to read some very good impressions and joy of each visit. As I love traveling, it was nice to feel each scene and enjoy the places the tour visits. The murders are rather upsetting, happening on a tour. But Lana works hard to solve the crimes and find the murderer, even though it is one of her tourists. Personalities are interesting and motives become clear. Well written, with a few grammatical errors, but not a real distraction. Looking forward to reading more by Ms. Anderson!
The story about the murder in Edinburgh was dreadful! It never came to a proper conclusion! Lana said that that Viola, would end up in state prison in USA for forgery and art theft but forgot to say she would be in prison in Scotland for double murder! How could she forget about that??Also she never mentioned what happened to Terrance or who inherited Presto's house and money now that Gwen had been killed too! I didn't bother to read the other two stories as in a crime story you need to tie up all the loose ends!
Again...interesting locations for each of the books...great descriptions, makes to want to go there. Some 4epeat characters and of course new travelers. Each murderwas different. You can peg who gets murdered, but you're guessing until the end as to who did it.
This book series was excellent, everytime I thought I figured out whodunit there was another twist. I also love how the romance elements were included but did not overpower the mystery genre. 10/10 would recommend
