I shouldn’t have strayed from the path and got injured. Now the big bad beast living in the woods is going to find and make me his dinner. My mother always told me to stay on the path when it came to traveling from village to village. Otherwise, bad things can happen. Normally, I listen to her. After something catches my eye and I follow it, I get lost. While wandering around, a small slip-up ends with a sprained ankle and a bruised ego. With no hope of getting home, a shift happens. I get found by the beast. He must’ve had his eye on me before. How else could he have found me so easily? With little choice, I’m taken back to his home. Doesn’t take long to learn the beast is actually a man–one with a big heart and soft hands. One night alone with him and I never want to leave. Rescued by the Beast is a 10k steamy age gap short romance between a wandering village girl and a beast whose favorite color is red.

He carries her back to his cabin promising to take her home in the morning but after they spend a night he knows he will never forget together, will she stay with him or leave and take his broken heart with him?
This definitely had a fairytale feel to it that I totally loved, with a steamy modern vibe to it. This was a well written and there was no way I wasn’t finishing this in one sitting. This author is becoming one of my go to authors and would recommend everything that I have read by her so far. 4.3* Read
Rescued by the Beast is a quick, instalove read. It’s a fairytale retelling of Little Red Riding Hood. Audrey is a sheltered village girl who is only allowed out to the path in the woods. She loves butterflies, strays from the path to follow a rare one and injured her ankle. She is rescued by a beast of a man. Elliott is that beast. He prefers the solitude of the forest because people are cruel. He loves to watch the girl in the red coat who walks in the woods. When she injured herself, Elliott knows he can no longer hide, and comes to her rescue. This is a sweet story of love and the characters are so likeable, you can’t help but root for their HEA. There are steamy scenes and a great storyline, with a twist you didn’t expect. Rescued by the Beast is a great, quick instalove read!
I am definitely enjoying Nyla Lily’s fairy tale romances. This book was a reimagining of Red Riding Hood. Audrey is a village girl who loves being in the woods. Elliot is a beast of a man who prefers seclusion but whose day is brightened by the girl in red who loves to run through his woods. When she is hurt one day, he is there to save her and take care of her. He would do anything for her but she couldn’t possibly want him, could she? Their story is short and steamy with a great ending. A little twist that I didn’t expect when her family comes looking for her but it tied beautifully into the story.

Audrey’s mother always warned her about staying on the path through the woods. But she lets her mind wander as she saw a very special butterfly and strayed off the path, hurting her ankle in a fall. She has lost all sense of direction, and now the beast finds her. He takes her back to his cabin. Will she be surprised to find that Elliott is a kind man and he loves the color “red”? Will she want to stay there with him and claim her own future? Or will he lead her back to her family?
Red is wondering off the beaten path to capture a butterfly. Hmmmm falling out of a tree doesn't help either. Elliot aka her Beast has watched from afar. This Is more Red aka Audrey taking the reins vs Elliot in this tale. Both "innocent" questions if she will return or stay with the Beast. no cliff. An adorable twist of Little Red Riding Hood, although it begins with Audrey chasing a butterfly, it evolves into her accidental escape. When she gets rescued by the hero, she finds something better to chase, and after that, he never stood a chance. It's a cute novella with decidedly likable characters and an easy plot to follow, it was sexy, whimsical, and totally charming!
The main guy hunts and loves to know where his meat comes from. As I've said before, I don't support and can't root for a person who intentionally hurts animals and likes it. He doesn't deserve a happy ending.
este libro me gusto mas que el anterior, caperucita es una chica atrevida amante de los insectos, y el lobo es mas dulce que feroz, lastima que no se supo la reaccion de la madre
