Zack meets Becks without her really knowing, and he's hooked. Becks is a scared, lonely woman. Reader learns of her feelings of loneliness and unhappiness. As you read it you can feel how "down" and lonely Becks is. This book takes the reader on a ride of mystery, loneliness and a little domination (but not how you would expect it. This is a great book - well written and leaves the reader wanting to start the next book immediately. Major double thumbs up for this book

Wow. Worth 5 stars except it ends with a cliffhanger. I want more. Please, Emma.
Really, really enjoyed the start of the book - captured my attention immediately. Unusual. I couldn’t stop reading. The two main characters are grabbing me! The ideas of weakness versus power and control are being turned on their head.

“Becks” is a lonely girl, living alone after her grandmother died. She wishes for a friend. Zack sees her and becomes obsessed in having her. The author had me thinking that the relationship would go a certain way, but she took it in a way I didn’t expect. I loved it! Surprise twist at the end. I can’t wait for the next book.

This book wasn't at all what I was expecting, it's a different kind of mafia story. There's Becky aka Becks, a troubled woman, she's unhappy, timid and almost afraid of her own shadow unless she is telling her man how to please her. She meets Zack, he's hot and becomes obsessed with her and he lets her take the lead, but then.....

The book does leave the reader wanting more - where is book 2?

Obsessed

This is book 1 that ends in a cliffhanger for the next book. It does have stalker MMC if that’s a trigger and a very skittish MFC. A quick lunchtime read.

Poor Becky. So lonely. So shy. Won't even look people in the eye. Along comes Zack. A retired, navy seal with visible scars. He stalks her. He's creepy. She likes him, because he offers her his submission.
Cliffhanger.....How will this play out?
