Very interesting story about a true Ace of an US Navy pilot in World War II. Not an ace in the sense of having shot down five enemy planes, but an ace in the sense of having destroyed countless enemy sailors and soldiers as a dive bomber pilot who sank multiple vessels in his career and amazingly survived. Also an interesting description of what life was like both on board the carriers and during a year back home as a trainer.
