The Fire Queen's Apprentice Complete Box Set

Rate this book
Tamri is a scrappy magic thief in the brutal canal city of Pendark, where sorcerers feud over a powerful liquid magic known as Watermight. She just wants to steal enough Watermight to take care of her grandmother and escape the city one day.

But when a big score involving a dragon goes wrong, the king of Pendark ships Tamri off to a distant mountaintop kingdom, where the legendary Fire Queen is starting a school for magic wielders.

The king suspects the Fire Queen is plotting against him, and he orders Tamri to find out the truth. If she fails, her beloved grandmother will pay the price. But Tamri will learn more than she bargained for from the legendary wielder—if she survives the encounter.

This complete series box set includes The Watermight Thief, The Thunderbird Queen, and The Dragonfly Oath. It takes place in the same world as Jordan Rivet’s Steel and Fire series.

In this series are introduced to Tamri a magic thief who is caught and sent to be a spy on the Fire Queen. It is the story of what happen along the way. Lots of action, intrigue, and interesting characters to meet. I really enjoyed the love hate relationship I have with some of the characters. I liked the pace and the snark of Tamri. I really enjoyed this world, its magic, craziness and each story in the series. Just drew me in and kept me reading until the end of each book just to see what would happen next. Had to see what Tamri would face and if she would be able to ultimately save her grandmother and survive to the end.

Jordan’s books never fail to captivate me, and this book is no exception. You are hooked from page one. Intrigue is there and you can’t wait to devour the next page. This is the mark of a great author.
So grab your coat and submerse yourself for the fantasy journey of a lifetime. Oh if you like dragons, you’ll definitely love this.

Thanks Jordan for another fantastic read.

The above was my review for the first book, The Watermight Thief , but all 3 are cracking books.
