Katherine Silva is an ace Maine horror author, a connoisseur of coffee, and victim of cat shenanigans. Her favorite flavors of the genre mix grief and existentialism which she combines with her love of the New England wilderness in her works. More people need to be talking about and reading Katherine Silva! Just finished VOX and can't believe I haven't already ordered another of her books. I really connected with these characters (not sure what that says about me) but, I'm eager for you all to discover them too.

I read this book more than once. I found it to be compelling from cover to cover. I was intrigued and astounded as this author manipulated my mind. The character I wasn't too fond of began to get inside my head and I was glad he did. Her second book is out even as I write this review and I will be reading that as well. I cannot say enough great things about this book. It is a "must read" and this comes from someone who is not normally a fan of this genre.

This story is dark, mysterious and suspenseful. The characters and plot are so well developed it's easy to get lost in the vampire world that Silva so masterfully created.

Vox by Katherine Silva is a fast-paced vampire tale. Silva does a superb job at creating a unique world filled with vampires, mediums, and other monstrous creatures. Check out this cool series!
