It just keeps getting better!
This book kept me absolutely HOOKED, and Amelia has secured herself as one of my favorite MCs. She's just so freaking awesome! And I love that Gwain's loyalty really got to shine. The plot is well executed, the pacing on point. I loved seeing the Amesthyne kingdom and learning more of the secrets buried in Kalleen's history. Highly recommend!!

Holly Hell love this series
Just when you think the rights will be done there is another twist Amelia nted to help the children that we're taken by priestess she finds the dragons from her nightmares then finds out her beloved brother and him are part of those dragons when she tries to plead to them that she wants to fix what was taken they want to trade the trade is for her to sleep with her finances brother the king she doesn't want to but for her people and there's she will do it only the king can't do it as she sleeps a Dragon like a ghost tells her to follow him she does realising the ghost Dragon has put the kingdom to sleep when she arrives at this place the king of the other dragons is there they are shown scrolls that explain that both sides had caused this rift they go back to his castle to fix what needs to happen and reunite the two kingdoms in her castle her sister that she over through is there trying to take it back but Amelia doesn't know that yet

Forsaking the Dragon is one of the many favorite books I have read this year. You get continued fantastic fantasy world building, new characters to fall in love with and wow the ending. It most certainly leaves the readers clawing for more and more from this world.
In this novel we have have Amelia and Connor fighting for their lives and honor. Deep deep deep they go into the exiled lands of the Amethystine dragons where loyalties and love are put to the ultimate test.
Bonus points for DRAGON SHIFTERS! I mean come on!! 5 stars for this fantastic fantasy book!! You will want to read this book again and again!!

Strong characters. Detailed world-building. Intriguing plot.
Continued attempt to save the helpless by correcting the wrongs of the past. Strong faith to do what's right. Work together with unlikely allies to reveal secrets. Betrayal that will leave the reader speechless.
Quarreling dragon groups. Royal dragon/moon dragon.
Be prepared for a cliffhanger ending that leaves you on the edge of your seat.

This series doesn't have trigger warnings but I would caution anyone who has religious trauma or SA as a trigger. Overall I have enjoyed this series and am looking forward to the final book's release. The plot continues to thicken as we find out more about the history of both types of dragons and how their past and future are dependent on their relationship. There are a few new twists to the problem with the temples and this book ends on a major cliffhanger.

Prepare to be involved in finding answers and reasons behind the current hate and mistrust in KL Bones newest book in the Flames of Kalleen series. I recommend that you read the first two books before starting book three. “Forsaking the dragon” will pull you in
beginning with the first chapter. Prepare snacks before you start reading. Also have tissues at the ready. I do love this book. Enjoy.

K.L. Bone knocked the third book in her Flames of Kallen Series out of the park! This book tied the remaining portion of the second book with much success. You get introduced to new characters and the world continues to build and build, leaving you wanting more. This enchanting series will both captivate and fascinate you. I highly recommend it! I give this 5 stars!

Exhilarating, surprising, and action packed. This book was amazing. I mean it kept the twists coming, dropping surprises along the way. I loved the continuation of the storyline too. I've been invested in this series from the beginning and with this addition it did not disappoint. And the ending wasn't what I expected. I'm looking forward to finding out what’s next.

This book is edgy, and sexy and heartbreaking all in 1 big emotional rollercoaster! Wow what a book. I could not put it down, and when I got the the end I couldn't wait to read the next book!! This is a MUST READ!!!

Oh my goodness, this was so so good and too many things to list. But I'm seriously happy with more back story on Connor. Not so thrilled with a cliff hanger but hey wouldn't be a KL book if I didn't want to yell at her for a minute lol. So excited for the next one!
