It takes a wolf to break a wolf. (And to humble a vampire prince.) Pack master Henry Riker has his hands full with the men of the house of Maddox.
Will has the world’s worst craving. He can try to fight it. He can try to control it. He will fail.
William's hunger is everything. To fulfill it, he will stop at nothing. He will sacrifice anything. Master will become jailer. Family will become enemy. Love will be just another useless thing he cannot consume.
But Maddox has no intention of giving up on his boy. Every good king knows when to recruit new generals. Enter the pack master, the very last of his kind still presiding over a functioning werewolf pack. William is about to learn some manners, wolf style.
If that weren't enough work for one wolf, it soon becomes apparent that Will is not the only troublemaker who needs handling. Lorien also catches the pack master's attention. And perhaps even his affection. But the arrogant vampire prince must first be humbled if he is to be loved.

I’m always rooting for the underdog, so William’s evolution over this series has been a sight to behold. It hasn’t been without growing pains as he struggles a bit with new feelings and navigates his identity. Even the ancient and always-in-control Maddox found himself in situations quite beyond his control. Their romance deepens and flourishes as another begins to blossom. I love seeing Lorien in a new light and getting to know him better. All of these characters are interesting and unpredictable and just impossible not to love. This story left me feeling deeply content, as if the story had been told fully, but also with the possibility for more. I would love more but I’m satisfied if that never happens. It’s done that well. Love and highly recommend!
I enjoyed the first two books but this one has me skipping parts. I never connected with Lorien. He didn’t interest me or intrigue me, so him getting more time in this book, bored me. And it felt like a big cliffhanger at the end. There was less steamy scenes. Overall, it didn’t live up to the previous books.
Book 3 is a great book. It’s not as dark as Book 2 was but it has its moments. The storyline was great. There was plenty as action, some violence, but most of this book is about the relationships. Maddox needing to get his boy help, so he calls in a Pack Master. Will, Maddox’s boy feeling like Maddox could care less and refuses the Pack Master’s help. That is until Henry has had enough. Which in turn makes Maddox mad. Then Lorien is mad at Maddox for paying to much attention to Will and leaves, only to cause destruction with some unsavory supernaturals. Then there’s the relationship in the mix of Henry and Lorien who are very much attractive to each other. And let’s not forget Will’s mother, Candy, who is hiding info from her husband about a son, Will, who she left in a dumpster years ago. Will doesn’t know she’s his mom. Now what I do not like about this book is Maddox being the biggest brat there is in this story. He’s not only hiding things from Will but also neglecting Lorien and getting mad at Henry for doing what he was hired to do, among other things that Maddox doesn’t approve of. But all in all I still give this book a 5 star ⭐️ rating. Despite how the Author made Maddox it’s still a great read 💜
Maddox has a lot to deal with. Will has embraced his feral side and even met his father Ivan. Lorien has left the mansion and is now living with Ivan. What a mess. Will needs training. To learn to control his urge and follow the rules and law. Maddox only choice is to find someone that will train Will and break him of his bad habits. Enter Henry Riker. He is military and that last of the North American Pack. He can tell that will is going to be difficult but he can train him. A soldier is a soldier and Will needs discipline. You have to love Maddox. We wants what’s best for his boy but Will is fighting his animal and himself. He NEEDS this training. At least to learn to control his beast. There is a whole new dynamic going on. Henry isn’t as tough as he seems. As for Maddox, well never cross him. He can be calm and kind but push him too far and he can tear you up. I do love that he cares deeply for Will and vise versa. Lorien is coming into his own but at what price. Granted we finally have someone that has his back but Lorien is as much a brat as Will at times. What is to happen now that things have calmed?
Henry is exactly what Lorien has always needed but never knew he needed a Pack Master.
This is the third instalment of Maddox, Will and Lorien’s story, and it has not disappointed.
Henry gives Lorien the discipline, love and passion the he needs. He does this so that Lorien can become the better Vampire, that Henry knows he can be.
I absolutely LOVE this series and it just keeps getting better and better 😄. I Love ALL of Loki's stories, but this series is sooo yummy that I can't wait for more 😋. Thanks again Loki, Please 🙏 keep writing more in this series and more of ALL your stories 🤓.
Well that took a very very good turn from how I thought it would turn out. Ivan an Skip are were they belong not causing anymore trouble for anybody. So glad to see Will and Maddox get some alone time. Truly truly happy to see someone step in an give Lorien the attend an love he deserves and needs. Excellent series can’t wait for more.
I am very happy Will has come into his own and happy. This can't be over I need more of the alpha and the prince's story so please don't let this be the end I am patient sort of.
it was a good read I was really enjoying it. The ending was kind of boring once I got to 80%. I was really just trying to get to the end but I enjoyed the first half. It was really fun.
This was a lot better than I expected it to be. And honestly, I was expecting a lot! It drives the story forward while presenting a new couple for us to enjoy. Well Done!
