Rate this book
When Hunter Mitchell meets Stephanie Lynch during a star-gazing session, he is enamored by her beauty and her brains. Even though he fears she will reject him for his interest in sensual restraint, a relationship starts. To their collective joy, she wants to be tied up as much as he wants to tie her up.

Just as they are starting to learn about everything that their new shared interest can offer, Stephanie is rocked to her core when she receives terrible news that Hunter is not the wonderful man that he seems to be. Only after she abandons him and the relationship does she discover that she has made a horrible mistake. She tries to reconcile but Hunter, angry and hurt, now wants nothing more to do with her.

Can they reconcile their differences and resume the relationship that has stoked their passions?

STEAMY BONDAGE!

I like to read about light BDSM and that is how the blurb caught my attention and this story did not disappoint!

Hunter Mitchell is an extreme control freak where his life is concerned. everything has it's place until he goes to the Henderson Observatory one Friday night to indulge in one of his passionate hobbies- stargazing!

Why a Friday night has he not got a hot date lined up being a gorgeous looking financial writer and a full-time goalie for an ice hockey league?
Hunter has a fetish that scares most sane woman away....bondage and he has not found that special woman that will share his fantasies and passion until that Friday night.....

Dr. Stephanie Lynch- research astronomer and assistant chair of the Astronomy Department and disorganized chaos has given up hope of ever finding that special man that will satisfy her intellectual and sexual passions until a gorgeous green eyed blond asks her a question during her lecture at he Observatory and then for coffee after......

Hunter is fascinated and enthralled with the long hours of stimulating conversations with this woman over coffee and feels there could be so much more but will she accept his kink?

Their chemistry is building up to a pulsing crescendo with exiting and sometimes funny dates but Hunter pulls back.....

Will Hunter express his kinky desires?
Will he accept the disarray this gorgeous woman causes in his well controlled life?
What will happen when trust is broken in the worst possible way?
Will they accept forgiveness goes both ways?

A steamy love story about acceptance, love and trust with light bondage to titillate the senses!

“Life, at least a life worth a damn, is going to be full of risks.”

The love story between Hunter and Stephanie starts slow. She’s a university professor who is more interested in her research and the stars than getting involved in a relationship. He’s a financial writer who is very organized, controlled and cautious to the extreme. He has a sexual bondage kink that almost always scares women off which has caused him to wonder if he will ever find his perfect mate. My heart ached for Hunter as he’s such a great guy and really deserves to be happy.

Despite the blurb and a couple of hot scenes this is not an overly explicit book. Most of it is dedicated to their slow growing relationship with all of the ups and downs. I really enjoyed it although it did get a little bogged down at times. There were a few scenes that could have been edited or even cut to move the story along but I feel it’s usually better to include too much detail that to skip everything and never get the chance to know the characters enough. I was even happy with the way it ended, completely and fully, no question of their happily ever after.

I thought this was a cute book. I loved that the FMC was the one with the higher degree and was in a science field job. Hunter was a sweet guy who had an extremely likable character. You could also tell the author did a lot of research when it came to astronomy/astrology.

The reason I rated this book a 3 was for 2 reasons. The first being, that BDSM was talked about in this book but at times it made it seem like it was a dirty thing. There were sections where he was saying he wasn't like into the "weird" stuff which I thought was odd. If you are going to make a character have BDSM kinks then I would think you'd make it seem more inclusive and non-judgmental. The second reasons was ..... (SPOILER AHEAD)

I did not like how Stephanie accused Hunter of rape and wouldn't listen to him about it and then they both just suddenly got over it. That just seems like a big thing to accuse someone of and then them both just move on from that so quick! I understand this isn't real life but I personally just didn't enjoy that part.

Hunter and Stephanie are so opposites He has everything planed out. At his home everything is labeled and in place. Besides his job he is also on a fun hockey team as goalie. He is more in control doing that position. Stephanie has her head in the stars. Working in the astronomy department. She spreads her work all over even in the cafeteria at work in a corner. She subs helping by doing a program on the stars and being bored Hunter goes to it. He asks questions during it getting her attention. They go for coffee after and talk for hours. For a while it looks like things are good till others Give her faulty information abs cause them to mistrust I received a free copy for a honest review. To see if they can find their way back pick up the book

A bit slow and winded but the story was very good. Stephanie and Hunter are complete opposites. They however are into bondage and things are going great until Stephanie is told some things and she finds out that they were not true after she had broke up with him. Wanting to get him back she tries and he is hurt and is done with it. Can she get him to take her back? This was a great story.

this book was a nice slow burn, Stephanie and Hunter are opposites who bond over the stars and we get to know them as they get to know each other.
This book IS WORDY. i get that its a build-up of who Hunter is but it made it skimmable.

Hunter and Stephanie's stargazing love story was beautifully written. Perfect amounts of world building, relationship building, spice, angst and a HEA.

Spice scenes did have some dom/sub elements so I would tell readers to check any triggers, but the spice scenes were hot!

Quick, easy, and enjoyable read.

When Hunter makes an impromptu decision, he will definitely thank his lucky stars. Stephanie is intelligent, attractive and open minded. An entertaining story of burgeoning romance, missteps and reconciliation. The book delivered with a satisfactory HEA.
