The much awaited sequel to the bestselling Chosen by the Vampire Kings
BBW Ménage Romance with no Cliff-hanger
Tanya has just entered the final stage of her pregnancy and excitement is running high. Her mates insist on putting a crap ton of rules and regulations in place to ensure that her and the baby's health are not put into jeopardy. They become more and more overprotective with each passing day and may have gone a little overboard in the process.
She loves them but it's freaking irritating. They need to understand that she is not some wilting flower, liable to break at any second. Tanya is a strong woman, capable of handling two dominant, vampire males in their prime. This theory is about to be put to the test along with her patience, which is wearing desperately thin.
Especially when all the unmated, vampire females attempt to get the kings to evoke an ancient lore. A lore which allows the kings to bring temporary rut partners to their bed while the queen is too ripe with child to accommodate their needs.
Like freaking hell she will ever allow that to happen!
If Brant and Zane think that they can evoke such a lore and continue to keep breathing, they have another think coming.
This book is 49,000 words/196 print pages

Mated to the Vampire Kings is the fifth book in The Chosen Series by Charlene Hartnady. This is the fifth book in the series and is also the follow up to book #1- Tanya, Brant and Zane’s story- and I absolutely love how everything played out. I couldn’t have asked for a better story- which is something I have come to expect from Ms. Hartnady now I’ve read the entire series. She weaves a mean storyline- and really should be on everyone’s must read list! She had me on the edge of my seat quite a lot of the time, and I loved it! The story continues on from book one, so you really should read that book at the very least, before embarking on this journey. You really won’t regret it, and it will allow you to full appreciate how great this book (and series) is! But be warned, you may end up with an addiction to these books, just like I have! This is an incredibly good paranormal romance, with wonderful originality, Vampires, Elves, Shifters, a love triangle, Ménage (MFM), suspense, danger, action, adventure, some angst, and a bit of drama. All added together made this an intriguing, HOT, sexy, erotic, and captivating read. As with the first book, the characters are all really well developed- with their own individual personalities, quirks, and flaws. The chemistry between them was electrifying! But that’s not all that made this such a great read- because the story is really well woven too, with an intensity I never expected. There was plenty of emotion too- which helped to balance the sexy, dramatic, and suspenseful elements. We get to hear from all three main players, and this made the story even more intense and intriguing. If you love paranormal romance, sizzling storylines, love triangles/ménages, wonderful characters, dominant alpha male types, feisty stubborn leading ladies, vampires, action, and suspense- all wrapped up in with wonderful emotional elements, then this is definitely a story/series you won’t want to miss out on! Superb!
Mated to the Vampire Kings is the fifth book in the Chosen Series by Charlene Hartnady. In this book we get to revisit with Tanya and her kings and madness and mayhem of where their lives are at and the trouble old Lores create. I am ADDICTED to this series; I can get enough of this paranormal romantic goodness. With alpha males in all shapes and sizes with Ménage à trois, MFM love triangle (eat your heart out), Vampires, Shifters, and Elves. It is Sexy, it is Sizzling, it is smoking Hot, it is Erotic so much so that it jumps right off the pages and leaves you needing a cold shower. Everyone wants to be the one selected but only two make the grade but only one sassy, headstrong female makes it. Where fighting to the death is not uncommon. So, what happens when two smoking hot soul-destroying vampires Kings, mortal enemies want the same thing; this is where things get so interesting, and the fun begins. These men are ruthless, they are vicious, power players, they are violent. There is lots of action, danger and war around every corner but given all that they love fast, they love with their whole heart and make you want to go and find your own. Charlene has woven a captivating, tangled web of lies, deceit, suspense, drama and love that will leave you breathless. The characters are to die for, and each have their own voice in this series. I love that we get their POV because it makes them more real. It is not all doom and gloom though there are plenty of witty moments and humour that will have you laughing out loud especially Zane and Becky, they crack me up. Don’t even stop to think just click and read and tell me I am not wrong. Happy reading!
i gave one star because the grammar and editing was done. My biggest gripe is, after 12 months of being pregnant, and difficult birth, which her husbands helped to deliver the baby. TWO WEEKS pass and the husbands are like yeah lets do this. I'm like, let the women heal, she gave you a child and needs to rebuild her strength. I get it you really want to be with her. But I found it unsexy, not to take care of the the women's over all physical and emotional health. Maybe the book wasn't for me. I'm glad other enjoyed it. Spice is nice when the right reader finds the right book. this wasn't right for me.

I skipped ahead and read this because I wanted to know what happened with the formidable trio. It did not disappoint. Although I didn't like how Tanya handled things she can be forgiven because let's face it, a pregnant lady is a hormonal bitch. I especially loved how those two love birds of hers got to be friends and how they behaved in the face of so many problems. I'll definitely check out some more of the books in this universe.
Warning: mature sexual content, mature themes, and language.
It was so enticing that I couldn’t put it down, this book grabbed my interest from the very first page. I couldn’t put it down, I had to know what happened next. The story is well written with a very good storyline. This is book five of seven of The Chosen series. This is the sequel to the Chosen by the Vampire Kings.

If Brant and Zane think that they can evoke such a lore and continue to keep breathing, they have another thing coming. So with all that and more this story pulls you in and holds you tight. It’s a must read. I highly recommend to everyone.
I skipped the books in this series with other characters. I just read #1 and this one. It’s not hard to jump back into the plot.
This one has a lot fewer steamy scenes than book 1. She’s pregnant and the guys decide she can’t handle sex. Then she’s on bed rest. Then she just gave birth. Then we get one mfm scene at the very end. The three I think we get aren’t bad, but aren’t great.
I enjoyed reading about the characters again and hearing how they’re doing. Tanya sort of drove me crazy in this one. She keeps flipping back and forth between I love/trust them and they must be cheating on me.
More sexist social issues in this one.
I read some of the breeding program books before reading these two. In those books it made me mad how Brant and Zane are so controlling and uptight about the breeding program. They’re seen as these very hardass rulers who want the program to “succeed” (have no incidents) more than their men finding love. I get it slightly more after reading these first two, but still not really.
Pregnancy, reverse harem, lots of angst, baby, one mfm scene
Mated to the vampire kings is Full of action and unexpected twists. The vampire kings's heir's life is at risk even before he is born. The castle is not safe for Tanya in her last days of pregnancy. Zane and Brant are invested in protecting their mate and their baby. Enemies pop out from everywhere. No place is secure. To make matters worse Tanya's insecurity screams. She is uncomfortable with her pregnant body and the female vampires hitting on the kings make her feel really bad. An old lore says it's okay to rut with Tanya's mates, and she is so not okay with that. All the stress may be fatal for the baby. Mated to the vampire kings is an energetic episode in Tanya, Brant and Zane's lives. And a baby is the sweetest thing. Don't waste your time. Go read it!
Mated to the Vampire Kings: The Chosen Series Book 5 A BABY FOR THE KINGS By Charlene Hartnady Kindle unlimited purchase Brant, Zane, and Tanya are at it again. In book 1 of this series human, Tanya met her 2 kings and the rest they say is history! Now she is in her last trimester and the kings won't leave her alone they were protective before but now it is boarding on crazy. It was great to see the ones that started it all. This book was hard to read, one chapter was very difficult to read. Had me holding my breath. But they're vampires I should have known. :)
I completely loved this episode in the lives of Tanya and her two Vampire kings. So many emotions came into play as this tale unfolded and there were so many unexpected events taking place, that I couldn't help but to empathize with Tanya, Brant, and Zane. Insecurity is such a common human emotion and this was a perfect example of how a little insecurity could hurt feelings and cast shadows or disrupt a very secure relationship. Honesty and forgiveness are always appropriate in order to reestablish harmony. This story was a real jewel. Can't wait to read more!!!!!
I gotta admit the vampire kings novels aren’t my favorite. I actually like the alpha ones. Maybe it’s how their characters are written but not a huge fan. Ward’s story so far is my favorite. I loved Rushe’s story but hated that he had to share with Ross. I wish Ross got his own story. He’s so far the best vampire. Even Xavier wasn’t a fav of mine. I’d love to see more female vamps with wolves. Especially Alexandra. She needs a redemption novel. Even Cheri from Xavier’s story needs redemption. Female characters are not getting their due.
Extremely sensual book on a reluctant MFM romance. Although I expected this storyline to be generally lacking, as others in the genre typically are by relying on the shock value, I was pleasantly surprised that this book 1. had the heroine in a position of power to drive the MFM arrangement and 2. laid out a complex and intriguing world that serves as a good setting for many more books to come.
I'm really enjoying this series. The characters just reach out and grab you. I also like that you aren't just reading the same basic story over and over again, but with different names. Actually, my only complaint about all of the books is the extremely bad grammar in every single one of them. I find it very distracting, and it really detracts from the story.
Another good book in this series that takes the reader through Tanya's pregnancy and her relationship with her two Vampire Kings. Her insecurities show as she progresses through the last stage of her pregnancy and an age old lore comes into play and a hoard of female vampires try to bed her mates. One of the Kings almost dies in an attack on his helicopter and the baby comes early. It's a good read with lots happening to keep your interest.
Tanya has s pregnant and her Partners are getting overbearing. Zane and Brandt only want the best for her and that means bed rest. And no sex. But when the castle becomes overrun with female vampires wanting to ease the needs of the kings. They decide to go to Zanes cabin in the woods. But baby Sam decides its time for him to make an appearance. Oh and some group tries to kill Zane along the way awls well. Another great story!
Here we are again with the two kings and their fated mate. She is ready to bust with the kings heir and not able to take care of her kings like they are accustomed to. So the Lores come back into the picture and messes up everything. The contracts for the mated programs are almost complete and trails can start soon, but of course the human males are not very happy so they mess stuff up. Why can't we all just get along?
A great finish to the Vampire Kings story. It’s good to know they finally got the sandwich. A fun read with a little drama, a little betrayal, and one dangerous situation, but alls well that ends well. I fell in love with the kings, Zane especially. Their choice of mate suited them both, even if she overreacts at times but it was good to have an epilogue of their family dynamic.
Mated to the Vampire Kings, book 5 of Charlene Hartnady's The Chosen series brings the series full circle back to Brand, Zane and Tanya. With the heir to the Vampire kingdom soon to be born what could to wrong? Hold on to your book things are going to get hectic. Everything and more than you could want all on one book.
I have always loved Zane...Brant is definitely getting better. I was surprised at the twist in this book, did not expect that. Told from all main characters POV. I definitely had to try and be objective about vampire culture and the biases towards men and sex. Still really enjoyed being back with the characters from the first book to see how their family came together.
Chosen by the Vampire Kings continues in this book where Tanya finally has her baby. Aswith all of the other 'chosen' books, I've really enjoyed reading the story along with all the in and outs of vampire life and lore. Read this series.
The next in the chosen series, this one looked interesting so I thought I would see! Good story only one this time which gives you plenty of time to get to know the story!
It's a rocky pregnancy for Tanya. Dealing with her two mates' desires and gestating are not mixing well. And having vampire females offering to sate her mates is not helping. Good story. Looking forward to The Program. Finally some of the boys get their girls. ☺
I love it, is was funny in may things. I kinda like Brent in this one, he was the here and not the arrogant prick I usually hate. Lol Thank you for a great book💋💋💋💋💋❤❤❤❤
I'm really enjoying this series it is well written and the characters work well together with a strong sense of community and the females are sassy and don't take shit and just how how to push there partners buttons.
Love this series ! Sorry Charlene...I like your dragon books BUT...I love your vampire books ! This is the 2nd time that I've read this series. If I could have an imaginary lover it would be one of the males in these books ! Yummy !
