Best story
This series has be great. It had me filled with joy and other times in tears. It was inspirational full of hope and love.

Great read
Loved the book, the bible quotes were great, they really blessed me at the time I needed them. Can't wait to read the next book.

Fourth book in this series and what a finale! (Except now I find out another one is coming out soon, however, this wasn’t a cliffhanger like the others).
In this story Jimmy is in hiding (for about two years) while being hunted because his Gospel ministry threatens evil people who want to shut down Christianity. The President and his wife are possessed and need power to crush churches and God's work on earth.
It feels a bit like the book of Daniel or Ezekiel. Jimmy's prophetic abilities now give him the power to transport to sites of significant moments and times to observe or to prophesy. He’s able to see the angels and demons in the spiritual realm and cast out demons quite easily.
What I loved the most about this episode is how often the Gospel is shared.
“I don’t know how to say this, ma’am, but I’m not the one who saved you. I just prayed for you, that’s all. It was the Lord who saved you.” …. “It’s by grace that we’re saved,” he explained as if reading her thoughts. “It’s not by anything righteous that we’ve ever done. There’s nothing we can do to deserve it or earn it… it’s a free gift. I know I didn’t deserve it — I didn’t see how God could ever forgive me, but He did. He changed my life!”
“It’s that awareness of His presence that reveals our own sin to us. In His presence, we understand how far we are from His perfection — how unworthy we are. That’s a tremendous gift! It's a divine act when God stirs repentance in a human heart. He is wounding your heart in order to open it — so He can wash it. So He can take all the guilt away."
Also the main angel (Chozeq) who visits with and guides Jimmy dispenses wisdom in King James-speak.
“He who goes ahead of the cloud of God’s providence goes on a fool’s errand… if providence tarries, then we must also tarry till providence comes."
I just love that.
This book had no profanity as in the first two books. Lots of violence because there is a battle between good and evil. But there's a balance with how often God is glorified.

Very enjoyable
I liked the interesting and original take on end times spiritual warfare, really appreciated no gore and that there was not 20 pages explaining how to store food and I'm water like too many recent books on end times I've read . I really liked the emphasis
on prayer and spiritual warfare as opposed to the main character just running around shooting all the bad guys. I took off one star due to the author just made things a bit too easy for the mc, every time there was a problem he just prayed and and a solution would pop up up almost immediatemly or a vision would show him exactly where to find what he needed. Despite this I really did enjoy the book and the whole series, will gladly read the next book if there is another one.

A Must Read Great Series
I just finished the last book of this amazing series. I highly recommend it to those of you that dives into stories on end time stories. I really like the way the Bible verses are incorporated into the story. Even though this is the writer's idea of how end times happen...I feel that it is very close to the way things Will transpire in last days. This is a call to make sure that You belong to Jesus Christ and how important the Gospel message is. I pray for those of you that read this series that do not belong to Jesus Christ. Today is the day...AMEN

I long for the move of God
This series of books ignited in me a longing for God's move that this nation is in dire need of today. The Bible had no mention of America in the last days. I only pay that every lady soul belonging to God will heed His voice. His voice can be found in books like these.
God is calling each of His children with a voice of longing. Each heart must choose for themselves whether to respond. Know that I find myself praying for you as a result of reading this series. May God continue to place you on my heart until my last breath.

The entire time I've read the four books in the series I thought it was happening during the end times. Though I believe it does show the rapture is looming close but not one clock tick early or one clock tick late.
I didn't know until the end of this book that number 4 was the last one.
The ending was quite a shock, yet not a bad one. I loved the way it tied up some of the character's stories and even tells a snippet of Jim's future in one sentence.
These are good books--some of the theology is off (for me) but somethings we will always have to agree to disagree on.

This is a great spiritual adventure as the 4th book in the Within and Without Time" series.
The best books I have ever read always leave me wanting more once I have finished them. And this series did that. Jimmy is a young man with painful losses in his life, but he also has God as his best friend. These adventures are shocking and provoke much thought and study; I can easily see myself reading these again. Really excellent read.

I have enjoyed all four of Author D. I. Hennessey's series Within and Without Time. This latest book, "Evil Ascendant" continues the same storyline and is well written as are all of the series. The Christian theme of Good versus Evil with the spiritual spilling over into the visible world is also continued here. Recommended.

Wow! Praise God!
I loved this journey through what the beginning of the end might look like. It will be hard, but God….. He is always in control and always loves us, and those facts are front and center is this engaging exploration of God’s power and purpose lived out on earth.

AMAZING!!!
This is undoubtedly one of the best book series I have ever read. I could not put it down. It is so powerful spiritually!! It is full of laughter and tears. I might have to read it again!!

Awesome Series!
I thoroughly enjoyed all 3 books in the series! I could hardly stop reading to take care of my responsibilities. I did stop for that, of course, but I sure wanted to just keep reading to see what amazing things God would do next! Nothing is impossible for God.

Excellent story of faith and hope

Faith Builder
This is a great story of the battle between good and evil and the reality that God is Supreme. Faith is the assurance of His promises regardless of what we see with our eyes. To know God and the truth of His word is to never be afraid.
