Good is good enough for family relationships

Jason's family has been welcoming and accepting to his boyfriend Calvin. But Calvin's father has not been able to accept Jason as Calvin's boyfriend. An ultimatum to Calvin about not spending any time with Jason has Calvin moving in with Jason until Calvin's father tries to file criminal charges against Jason. Then thinks get really mixed up.

Soon everyone is hurting. But the boys spend a week living with Calvin's mother's parents. A similar family dispute disrupted the relationship between Calvin's parents and his mother's parents for almost a year before the wedding over religious differences. Everyone was miserable and suffering.

This was a great book

This book typifies the normal parents reactions when their child comes out as gay. Calvin came out as gay to his parents and they took his cellphone from him and refused to let him go to the staff meeting after the play. His boyfriend Jason was concerned. After Calvin left home he tried to get Jason in trouble with the law. Great book and once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I definitely recommend this book.
