Memorable Quotes: Chris nodded. “That’s awesome. I … just don’t know if I’ll ever be popping the question to Sarah. I don’t want anything spoiling the great thing we’ve got going. Plus, who needs a piece of paper? All that matters is we have each other. I’m not going anywhere.” Dale stood up from his seat and walked over to the trash can to throw out his coffee cup. “I don’t know. I guess I want that piece of paper. I want a do-over with life. I want that happy marriage and the cozy home on the beach. I just love the way a wedding band looks on a hand. I think you should reconsider proposing to Sarah. I bet she would be over the moon. Women like that stuff.” Chris chuckled, still feeling slightly jaded, as he got up to walk towards the dock shop. “Yeah, I’m not convinced. Sarah has never even brought up marriage. I think she’s fine as things are, like me. ....."
My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️🏖💍🫖💐☕️⚡️🚲
My thoughts: This one could have been a lot better. The storylines were scattered and many of them felt incomplete after the resolutions.
Recommend to others: Yeah, it's still a good series.

Having read all of the books so far in the series, what makes this particular one very special for me is that I actually brought it with me when recently, I spent a lovely weekend where else? The Cape May area! It was fun passing by food stands, restaurants, and little shops and imagining that "the gang" was working or playing, and basically living their lives there. It truly is a magical place, and this series made it even more of an enjoyable experience. On to the next installment!
I started the book on a cool, overcast afternoon and was transported to a sunny almost Fall day. I love all the characters and their intertwined lives. Now going to start book 12 and see what happens in these lives next. Thank you Claudia…for no drama, no violence.. just a quiet walk down a path of love and happiness.
It is fun to keep up with this crew of people and their adventures. A new tea garden, a coffee house fire and two engagements keep this book interesting. It makes a splash!!
