Wisteria is caught in a time loop. Everything is repeating, Groundhog-Day-style, but only one supernatural has noticed. Zirconia Cristata Riddle, the vampire matriarch of the Riddle family, is awake and alone in a world full of people who can't move forward or make new memories. Someone ought to do something about it. Or at least find out who's behind this endless loop. Solving this mystery is a job for someone who enjoys playing detective, such as Zirconia's daughter, Zara. But Zara's in no state to fix a giant kerfuffle like this. She can't even get her boots to match. It's up to one woman to save the world using nothing but her powers, her wits, and her impeccable style. Note to series Wisteria Wildcard is book 15 in Angela Pepper's bestselling Wisteria Witches Mysteries, picking up six months after the events of book 14, Wayward Wisteria. This story is told from the point of view of Zirconia Riddle, Zara's dark-haired vampire mother. Book 16 returns to the POV of Zara. Thank you for making this series a bestseller in book and audiobook. We hope you enjoy this wildcard of a story!
USA Today Bestselling author Angela Pepper lives with her family in the rainy Pacific Northwest, surrounded by spoiled kitties, deer, raccoons, and the biggest woodpeckers you've ever seen.
I have read all of the books in this series and loved them They were sad and funny and I couldn’t wait for the next one This book was boring and really disappointing
While I appreciate the new character viewpoint and insight into Zirconia’s ways and behaviors, this book left so much to be desired especially after the gut-wrenching end to the previous book. That ending gutted me. I waited and waited for understanding, resolution, healing and got nada in this book. I love this series so very much and didn’t want to leave a not great review, but I feel utterly disappointed. And another year of waiting for the next book??
I received this from the author to read and review. It took me quite a while to realize that they were in a time loop. The fun for me was that I could never figure it out and just had to keep reading to find out how they got out of it. Complete surprise as to how it all came about and how they finally got out of the time loop. Such an interesting and amazing story from start to finish. I thoroughly enjoyed the new direction of the series and the wonderful ending.
Time for a change of pace and heroine. Normally we’ve got a story about Zara or her Aunt Zinnia, but this one is for Zirconia. Zara’s mother, Zirconia, is a former witch and current vampire. She’s stuck in a Groundhog’s Day dilemma and it seems to go on forever. I was a bit on the fence about liking this one because I avoid time loops like the plague, however I received an early copy and have read every book in this series so I was committed to finish. I’m glad I did because it was quite entertaining and quirky, and a pleasant change of main character. We still got Zara and Zoey and Zinnia to make appearances for a bit of comic banter.
Not gonna lie: this was a frustrating one to get through. As interesting as it was to see Zirconia’s perspective, it’s not always enjoyable to be in her head. However, I did enjoy watching her outlook on life shift throughout this book (and the same goes for Xavier, too). The story became less frustrating in the back half, and I ended up enjoying it as a whole.
It was hard to see Zara grieving. It was even harder to see Zoey and Ambrosia feel like they needed to help. (Speaking of, that twist at the end was crazy! I’m intrigued to see if it affects their friendship.)
Overall, this one was noticeably less lighthearted than other installments. But I expected as much considering what happened in the last book. It isn’t my favorite in the series, but I would consider it a necessary read in order to truly understand the Riddle women.
Interesting concept for a storyline. Getting to know Zirconia about better was nice, but the time loop went on a bit too long. The author could have wrapped up the time loop sooner and added some more content after- like finding or rebuilding a house, Zara integrating back into her job and seeing her friends again, etc ., before prefacing the next book with Zinnia going into labor.
It took me over 1.5 years to continue the series because of the pain the author made me go through at the end of #14. I loved this book and I think it was a good choice to not have Zara be the MC, because I would not have survived another book like the last one. I just wish Zoey had been successful

Zirconia ex witch, now vampire grandmother's story. This book had to happen so we all could move forward! In this book we see Zirconia the ex witch, now vampire, grandmother relearn her humanity and relearn and relearn..... many, many times over until a better, kinder person evolves. But.... this story is not hers alone. The suffering and heartbreak of losing Zara's beloved Bentley in the last book left not only their family shattered but the human followers of this series shocked also. This book is a start to the family healing and getting a grip on the future. And lets not down play, also in the last book, the loss, in an explosion, of the magical house that anticipated their every need. That was unbelievable and l swear with every page thereafter l anticipated Zara finding an artifact in the wreckage of the house to restart a magical rebuild. I still hold out hope for the house and surely Bentley can turn up again? or is there another man in Zara's future? But l really want that house back!! Here we also find Zinnia a far cry from her usual organised, flowery, super woman self, not to mention the lack of her eagle eye and therefor missing the clues of the trouble makers. To all new readers: This series is magical, humorous, smart and addictive. The characters are engaging , getting up to the wildest magical mischief and I find myself laughing out loud many times. The Pets are to die for and oh so entertaining. I Love these books and I think you will too! RECOMMENDED.
Zirconia's Wildcard Goundhog Day Adventure This book is six months after that last book and this time it's from Zirconia's perspective without a lot of Zara actually in it. Still has the Riddle family feel with the sassy characters. There's still some dealing with the tragedy from the ending of the last book, so dealing with grief is a part of this one but with plenty of comedy to keep it from being overwhelming. I enjoyed seeing Zara's mom's personality in this story, a bit of a grumpy vampire stuck in a time loop. As it becomes frustrating, she begins to try to search for the person whose creating the time loop - the mystery that becomes a bit thriller and just a really fun read. As always there are plenty of twists and quirky details to keep you on your toes. This series is one that I can listen to again and again and continue to enjoy it. I do recommend reading them in order.
The narration is top-notch as always and a ton of fun to listen to.
Parents: this is really geared for the YA to adult reader, there are a lot of joking, insinuations made and near bedroom happenings but overall is still kept pretty clean (free of f-bombs and minimal bad language)... It's on a PG13 level and I would say high school and up readers. Possible triggers - grief

Disclaimer: I was given a free copy of the audiobook in exchange for an honest review This is the 15th book in the series and there are major spoilers for book 14. READ WAYWARD WISTERIA BEFORE THIS BOOK. 6 months have passed since the events of the book but all of the characters are still dealing with the aftermath in their own way. This is the first book from Zirconia’s point of view and I am here for it. I am also sucker for time loop stories so this story had a madcap hilarity to it. Partway through the book it takes a serious turn and becomes something more of a sci fi thriller. Angela Pepper’s writing and specifically Zirconia voice shines through it and even when threats are dire the writing keeps things pretty light. Speaking of voices Tiffany Williams does an amazing job of Zirconia (with appearances from the other Riddle women we know and love) Due to the nature of the story we have limited characters in this book but Angela takes two side characters and makes them the stars for this misadventure. Triggers: Grief, Time Loops (if you don’t like Groundhogs Day Loops this book may not be for you)
Wisteria Wildcard by Angela Pepper is book 15 in her Wisteria Witches series (book 16 was just released): ⭐️ Almost all of the other books have been the POV of Zara. This book, however, is through the POV of Zirconia, Zara’s Mother, where she is experiencing a time loop. A time loop of 450 repetitive page with very little changes. The time loop spanned over 3 years. The book was slow and annoying. I barely read through the loops after a while because I couldn’t take reading the same thing over again. The book could’ve been cut in half or not published at all because it didn’t add anything to the story. I will read book 16 of the series, but don’t think I can handle future books if it continued beyond 16. Pepper reintroduces everyone throughout each book. I would hope that by 15 books in, the reader would be familiar with who the characters are.
Unusual throwback addition to this really fun series! And here I thought I knew a lot about the town of Wisteria and the families that are keeping everything hilarious! The last book was wrenching and I had no idea where the author would go next. Also can't decide if this might circle around to nearer the first in series so we could get a clearer understanding of Zirconia Riddle and family. It seemed odd placing, but still a laugh and a half. The audio is narrated by Tiffany Williams who has the character interpretation skills of an operatic coloratura (that means that she can make character definitions and emotions no matter how many there are!) and the emotional range of a fine actress. I won this audio in a giveaway. Yay me!
Wisteria Wildcard (Wisteria Witches #15) was a great read by Angela Pepper. Wisteria is in a time loop and everything is repeating everyday. The thing is that only the supernatural have noticed this. Zirconia Riddle is the vampire matriarch of the Riddle family. She is awake and alone in a world full of people who can not make new memories. Zirconia knows that she must figure out who's behind the endless time loop. She knows that she needs Zara's help but sje isnt up to it. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.
I didn't like this one as much as Zinnia and Zara's books. I think the idea of being caught in a time-loop was cool but I don't think we needed to read about it as many times as we did. I thought it was funny how she kept killing Xavier and how he kept coming back even knowing what was happening. At first I suspected someone had returned but I was glad to see that was wrong. I love what Zoey tried to do for her mom and I believe her heart was in the right place and she just wasn't thinking. I'm sad this is the last book out currently but I am eagerly awaiting more.
I hate to do this. I've been following the series and wish this didn't happen. Honesty. I'm a slow reader and gets bored easily. Then I pick up another one of my books and continue reading that. I don't quit a book I just put it on hard pause. I found myself hating time loops. Reading the same thing I did the night before. That to me is time wasted. The series is on pause again because I rotate through multiple series. Now some people can hold numbers in their heads and do math out of thin air. Not me but I can hold stories decades later and recall by looking at the cover art

It was good, not great too many repeat chapters, the point could have been made quicker so I had to skip reading more of the book than I actually read. The ending was terrible. I don't feel like this was written by the same Wonderful author, but then again maybe. I wish it would have been more interesting, more involved with an ending worthy of the series. It was 100% not a Zara Riddle book, I guess I read for her not for her mom.
In reading this book I found I really didn't enjoy it as much the 14 other ones in the series that I read. Reading about the time loop was interesting at first but then I got bored reading the same thing over and over. But that is just me. I couldn't wait to finish it just to get out of the time loop. It was a surprising end of who was actually causing the time loop. I spoil it by saying but that did surprise me.
Hopefully, this is the only time loop. I get the change of life thing. Never fun. Hopefully, the Riddles can get back to normal. I live the series and the characters. Still upset about Bentley. Surely, he could be reborn from the grave by Dr Ankh. Meno lasts forever, so take heart. It does get better.
Along with other readers, I have read the whole series and have really enjoyed every single one. I struggled with this one. Without giving too much away, I think that Zirconia has gone through a bit of a transformation and it allows Zara to move on, so I gave 4 stars for that, but it was a hard read. I have to confess, I did some vampire speed-reading/skimming in the middle of the book.

Very interesting! I must admit ive never read a book like this before! I liked it but it sure was ........different! Even though ive read all the previous books in the series,i kept getting mixed up on names! Im also not sure what was accomplished in this book.
This was truly different from any of the others in this series. Seeing as it took a year to complete I would have appreciated a very small recap of how the last book ended. Other than that it was very good. Although the chapters are a bit repetitive which they have to be. I like that Xavier and Zaconia remain friends.
Audiobook: Ground hog day in Riddle fashion. LOL! This story is from Zirconia’s perspective. Zany banter, mystery, and family make for an entertaining listen. The narrator did a nice job bringing the story to life. I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
This book features many of the main characters in this series, but is from the POV of Zirconia. I found it to be an interesting segue way from the terrible events of the previous book and Data finally getting through her grief over Bentley's death. Plus, Xinhua finally has her baby!
This book is written from Zirconia's perspective. She finds herself caught in a time loop, so a magical groundhogs day, endlessly. It takes her years to figure out who is to blame and to stop them. I didn't enjoy it as much as I did the other books in this series.
I’ve read and enjoyed every book in this series. Don’t know what Angela Peppers purpose in writing this, but she took advantage of this reader’s patience. Not only a waste of time but the repetition seemed like a lazy writer’s trick. You gave “Groundhog Day” a bad name. This book was an obnoxious betrayal and waste of time.
This was a very unusual story for me. Witches, a human, a vampire, shifters, and a half genie. The time loops were particularly difficult to keep straight (like six months of Wednesdays are my limit). The tymewyrm was a nice touch.
What's time? It's what your given so don't waist it. Zed learns the hard way. A different kind of story from the norm. I liked looking at her points of view. Growing each day and knowing what is important.😁
