Growth Hurts But Boy Is It Necessary!
Jaz Akins, when I say you did this ! Baby listen, you gave me so much anger until I was like if something don't shake soon I'm gonna be real mad at one of my favorites😄😄 Well you didn't deny me nothing! You really showed how when some one loves a person with their whole heart they will ignore all the red flags.
Yuri was such a true young lady, she gave her whole heart to someone that doesn't deserve it at all. She was a true friend also to someone that didn't deserve it either. It's a true saying people only do what you allow them to do, when you don't know what it is that's different but when you know, it's such a good hurt after you grow.
Martell only did what everyone allowed him to do. He realized to late that his hold on Yuri was over, thank God Yuri got a chance to learn the lesson, to get a chance for true love, to drop frienimies, and to become the best she could be.
Nick, was the bae he came in right on time to help Yuri get the opportunity to flourish, he allowed he the chance to see her worth, and to know true love. I'm so glad she finally let that hold Martell had on her go.

Good Read
Yuri didn't deserve none of what Martell put her through. Although I wished she would have just bossed up sooner instead complaining and crying over spilled milk. That nicca was a habitual womanizer. Not only was he messing with a lot of other women and her best friend Mecca but he was also married. It's the audacity for me. Tahiri showed him why it ain't safe to play with people feeling. Mecca got exactly what she deserved. A jail sentence ain't the only thing she facing. I liked Nick although I loved how he always had Yuri's back, the tend to overreact at times also. Yuri was wrong for keeping a secret from him but I'm glad they were able to come together again.💘💘

Good read
Now Jaz you know I love your writing but this one I can honestly say that it was just okay. Yuri to me was very childish, petty and annoying. She made all these stupid mistakes that could’ve been avoided but then wanted to cry when things didn’t go her way. Honestly, Nick was too good for her but she got her happy ending. Mecca was disgusting and ended up getting played worse than everyone in the end. Martell was a disgrace but hoped he was thankful for a second chance at life

This was such a good read...Yuri was a good girl who just trusted the wrong people... I'm so glad that she met Nick because he was definitely a Real Man about his....u can't have everyone in ur relationship... Martell got exactly wht he deserved... THIS BOOK WAS FIRE FROM BEGINNING TO END
When I say I loved everything about this book everything like it caught my attention from beginning to end I’m so so glad yuri finally got her happy ending who would’ve thought her and nick would’ve ended up together and her sister yesha was a trip but I loved her character because she kept it real and didn’t play about her sister and martell dog ass got what he deserved and her snake ass friend Mecca got what she deserved too keep up the good work you did this book

This was a fast pace and straight to the point stand-alone and I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. Yuri has gone through so much in life but Nick came through like the boss that he is and knocked her off her feet and helped her elevate higher in life. Martell was just a straight dog and did not deserve Yuri whatsoever. Mecca, lawddd the foolishness is what that is. Great read though

a good read
Martell clearly didn’t learn his lesson to be still being manipulated towards women smh this why he got shot now and is paralyzed it will take for something strong to knock him down and make him stop being a player I’m glad Yuri opened her eyes and realized Martell ain’t no good and she deserves a happy ending and happy life now that she has it with Nick she better not mess it up

Good Story
A good story with some drama, lies, deceit, truths, and lies. Yuri really had to face some truths. All of the snakes in her life had to me their Karma and it wasn't pretty. She had to grow up and realize her worth. It was great to read about her journey and all that came to be.

I enjoyed reading this book. Yuri and Martell were toxic together. He didn’t respect her. She had to get rid of the baggage before she could see light at the end of the tunnel.
With help from Nick, it happened. He gave her the push that she needed.

Baaabyyyy!!! Another dope 5 🌟 read. Tatum was a snitch. Mecca deserve that azz whopping, and she got what she deserved in the end. Nick was truly heaven sent to Yori. Martell was a dog azz clown that got his karma. Overall good read!
