zen’in maki. literally just her in all her bloody glory.

also. literally up at 3:00am over a year later. can’t stop thinking about yaga. he wasn’t particularly a favourite of mine but as someone whose favourite arc is definitely hi/pd his death affects me so strongly whenever i think about it. a part of me wishes we were able to see gojo’s reaction here but i’m not sure i would have survived it

yaga’s death just feels like such a final slap in the face to their youth?? by this point we’ve already lost geto, nanami, haibara, riko and also—gojo in a way.
this just feels like. yeah actually everything you love is gone sorry ❤️. geto’s had buildup. nanami’s just hurt. haibara’s moved the plot along. riko’s haunts the narrative. this one feels so unique to me because i feel like gege doesn’t linger on it very long. it’s such a calculated choice of character to kill off but it FEELS random and it’s unfair and i guess that just makes it hurt more

i think the next thirty-or-so chapters are where i started to fall out of love with jujutsu kaisen as a canon piece of media. the fanmedia will always have me (duh), but so much heart was lost at a certain point that it didn’t feel like the same series i loved initially :’)

i haven’t been very jjkpilled recently and suddenly i want to sob and run straight back into the arms of the fandom that saved me for the past year and a half. might have to rewatch and get back into it idk i’m emotional rn

Unfortunately, I'm losing all the joy with this manga it was ok by the first volumes, but in terms of story developments and characters it is terrible and so far anything that is happening is the saving Gojo drama! that I don't care, he appears in a 2 seconds flashback and I'm like whatever... the incidents, the plots are not interesting anymore, to that level I'm disappointed but not surprised.

The only reason this isn't getting a 1 star is because I love Maki's short haired look. Maki is butch <3

This manga disappoints me with every volume. Any time it gains the opportunity to delve deeper into the emotional states of the characters, it instead brushes over complexity to jump into another fight scene.

I swear every time I understand less and less of the details of what's going on in this world.

No problem. I'm sure I'll get it as we start to really get into the meat of it all.

Aside from the quite heavy exposition, quite honestly, this volume was super badass and incredibly emotional. All packed in one very hard punch.

“It’s our fault. Don’t be selfish ad give up all alone. We aren’t heroes fighting for justice. We’re Jujutsu sorcerers. No one can ever truly judge us so we must continually prove the worth of our existence. And we don’t have the luxury of thinking about ourselves. We’ve just got to save people. I believe that was the original principle behind your actions.”

I don't know why, but I had thought that the hardest and most painful parts of the series, at least for a while, were past us... only to have a rude awakening.

Things just seem to be intent on getting as complicated and messy as humanly possible.

Still, everything happening is just helping me get progressively more and more obsessed with the story and characters so I cannot fault it in any way when I can hardly wait to see it all unfold and take place.

That being said, I would prefer if it happened without any more deaths.

I can say with all confidence that I don't like Naoya so the fact that he is on the cover pisses me off.

Just like the last couple chapters in the previous volume pissed me off.

Ohhh boy, I think this is actually my favorite volume and that just makes me hate that this bastard is the one on the cover 😡

So yeah this volume, more suffering and pain but also f*cking Maki supremacy.

The Toji/Maki comparison 👌🏻 honestly, peak bi panic for me 🤣 I knew there was a reason I absolutely loved her vibes. Their badassery plus their looks, ugh...

Also, I love when a character is told to go ape shit and destroy everything. And they actually proceed to do just that.

So yeah Maki is queen and this manga series is destroying my life.

Gege Akutami Sensei you are unbelievable you were sent down to earth Just to make us suffer. My oh my !! How do you find the heart and soul to such acts; this is notorious (I’m just being dramatic he’s a legend but I have to do this; it’s how I cope with the pain) I think this one will be from 143-150 since it’s 8 chapters per volume. First of all Phew Yuuta I had faith but man you scared the shit out of me there okay (his laugh was the most wholesome thing that I’ve seen so far in these chapters)

Let’s just talk about how Yuuta was trying to tell Yuji that what happened in Shibuya was not his fault, let that sink in; let yourself sink in and start crying because Yuji still thinks that he deserves to die (he literally said “why aren’t you dead yet ?” Or “why wouldn’t you just die ?” Something like that) Things are so heavy on his shoulders after the Shibuya incident he just wants to roll in a ditch and die. *sigh* (it’s heavy on my soul to talk about Yuji like this he’s my comfort character if you’d say) then just in the right time JUST TTHE RIGHT TIME gege Megumi arrives just when Yuji was drowning in self glut, self-loathing Megumi appeared and thank god his words just hit in the right places, “it’s our fault” he corrects “don’t be selfish and give up all alone” he adds and that look of angst on Itadori’s face makes me die a little more “we aren’t heroes fighting for justice we are jujutsu sorcerers” and JUST THERE “as long as I’m around you will suffer” He says that he knows it in heart Yuji KNOWS that Sukuna is up to something bad and he knows he knows he knows and GOD when he tells Yuuta to kill him if he ever switches with Sukuna (I can’t put pictures in my review or else I’d be showing you all the panels and lots of crying pictures)

Oi did you see when Yuji’s face and eyes light up when Megumi said “so start by saving me” ??? Hahahah (I cry) And (cry even more) when Yuji asks about Nobara (until chapter 150 Gege is teasing us and tbh at this point if I see no body I ain’t believing shit Gege OKAY KNOW UR PLACE MAN)

Choso joins with the boys and we get to see Maki my beautiful and strong surviver and the interaction with Yuta is beautiful; choso finally gets his wish and Yuji calls him “Aniki” (YEASH)

Yuji called Choso (grace) Aniki (兄貴), a Japanese honorable term for an older brother

so apparently more cursed wombs are in the jujutsu high, we finally get to meet Tengen Sama and he kinda looks like an alien (the amount of memes on this part is just *Chief kiss*) as we go on we find out that Young Gojo literally just went around helping out his own future demise and I can’t stop laughing about it even now.

Two stay behind and the rest leave and we get the culling games explained even more (because gege wee dumb) (oh yeah even now I can’t understand much of it but I’ll manage) things are manifesting outside and boom Yaga dies and we cry
We cry with panda and it’s not far I T S N O T F A I R

It doesn’t stop there. Maki is sent to take all the cursed tools and We see the fucker Naoya again (hate his fucking guts; Oi I don’t care abou you who simp for him. You can do better. Do better ffs)

So yes as the fandom predicated there was bullying which means that after Maki left the bullying continued with Mai (explains the hate more but *sigh* it was never hate to begin with) I talked about this so much I feel tired of talking (148-149-150) really did it for me. From the encounter with Ougi to mai laying there in her own blood to Maki Getting Cut and the girls being thrown in the room where Toji himself was thrown before for punishment before leaving the clan (no wonder he wanted them all dead he had all the right but I still don’t like Toji so nothing changed I just feel more bad for him)

Mai left and took the rest of the cursed energy with her; in the jujutsu world twins are one. There was no future for the heavenly restriction with Mai around. Maki was never going to reach with Toji’s level with that missing part. With the remaining energy. She had to be a Zero. Yes but I don’t accept all that. Their talk their last talk wrecked my heart. Maki’s constant “come here” just... just.. yeah.


Mai made the last thing the sword, the same one that Toji owned and she left. With one request

“Destroy everything, everything big sister”


The amount of fear In Ougi’s eyes Toji next to Maki eased my anger but it wasn’t enough

“Let’s get started,
Mai”

The only thing That kept Maki on her feet, she couldn’t remember what she was doing! What she wanted ? Only g he voice only the last promise her sister asked her to make and her sword didn’t stop

After slaying her father, a group of trained unit, the Hai “the strongest” strongest my ass tbh and all by her blade.
All shall die.
All shall perish.
By my blade.

“Don’t you have a heart ?” Naoya asked.
“No he took it away” Maki replied; and in the first translation it was “no it was taken from me”

I can’t wait for Naoya to be beheaded. I really can’t wait for that lil bitch to suffer the worst and I know maki will deliver but know this; what I want is: Maki will have to snap out of this and get back to the real world; she will have to accept her sister’s death to go on with her life. She has to get back to herself or else Mai’s sacrifice will be wasted.



I’m in love with this manga and I can’t stop thinking about it. Please recommend it to your circle, this is the first time that I ever write this much but everything about this volume was perfect how gradual things escalated; the art especially those pages who look scribbled. Perfection. I lo Be Jujutsu Kaisen.

- Yuta cura a Naoya pero le dice que a cambio debe informar a los de arriba que Itadori a muerto

- Tenemos un vistazo a la mamá de Itadori en un flashback, no parece humana.

- Por el conjuro inverso Yuta cura a Itadori y le dice que Gojo sabía que algo iba a pasar y le encargó cuidar de Itadori.

- Megumi aparece para hablar con Itadori y le cuenta que Kamo Noritoshi planeó una pelea entre todos a los que les otorgó poder mágico, a lo que llama "viaje de extinción". Por esto le pide su ayuda para aventurarse en este juego macabro.

- Se encuentran con Yuki en el instituto y nos enteramos que Maki está viva, pero tiene unas quemaduras irreparables. El plan es encontrar a Tengen.

- Kenjaku es el nombre del mago que ahora habita el cuerpo de Geto, el antiguo Kamo Norishito y su plan es asimilar a Tengen con la humanidad, ya que, así no sean recipientes puede hacerlo porque evolucionó. Y ahora Tengen es más maldición que humano, por eso el Kanjaku con el poder mágico de Geto lo puede controlar.

- Tengen les da el otro lado de la puerta confiadora, sin embargo solo en Kenjaku puede abrirla con dos objetos; la lanza invertida del cielo, y la cuerda negra que altera todos los conjuros, sin embargo ambas fueron destruídas por Gojo, pero, hay una opción, y es una maga milenaria llamada Angel que su conjuro anula todos los conjuros.

- Yuki y Choso se quedarán para escoltar a Tengen. Yuta irá a una colonia a reunir información sobre el viaje de la extinción. Los demás irán a buscar a kenji, un estudiante de tercero que fue expulsado.

- Nos dan un vistazo a el director Yaga y su relación con los cuerpos maldiditos artificiales y su pasado con Kusakabe.

- Gakuganji mata a yaga pero Panda no lo odia. Al parecer puede tener sentimientos a pesar de ser un cuerpo maldito artificial.

- El papá de Mai y Maki planea matarlas por tratar de liberar a Gojo, ya que eso es considerado delito. Así que Maki se enfrente a su padre en una batalla a muerte.

- Primer asalto lo pierden las gemelas, pero Mai se sacrifica por Maki, y Maki hereda un poder similar al de Toji y acaba con su padre.

- Luego de una masacre contra el clan anti amenazas Zenin, Maki se enfrenta a Noaya. Maki lo vence magistralmente; y el clan Zenin prácticamente está extinto.

Honestly this series has been very confusing for me lately. The Culling Games rules are still kinda confusing BUT this volume made up a whole lot for it and if anything, gives me hope and anticipation on how the series is going.
