Il sigillo del peccato è un paranormal romance che si incastra con il Fallen Guardian World della Hunter, ma può essere tranquillamente letto come auto-conclusivo.
Se non avete ancora letto nessun libro di questa autrice, per me potete tranquillamente partire da questo, magari poi vi verrà la curiosità di leggere anche gli altri.
Se invece avete già letto i romanzi precedentemente pubblicati, la novità è che questa volta il protagonista maschile non è un Guardiano, bensì un demone. E che demone!
Avete presente i Peccati capitali? Ecco, vi ho già detto troppo, il resto lo scoprirete leggendo (anche se dal titolo già si dovrebbe intuire).
Riley è un demone che da moltissimo tempo conduce una vita in mezzo ai mortali. È il proprietario di un bar nel Quartiere Francese, ma la sua reale identità, la sua storia passata e cosa lo aspetta lo scopriamo un po’ alla volta durante la lettura.
Preparatevi a conoscere un gran bel maschio alfa, con i suoi tormenti personali e un’eredità con cui fare i conti. Il personaggio maschile di questo libro è stata una vera rivelazione, non me lo aspettavo con quel background e mi è piaciuto molto.
Saia invece è una ragazza di ventun anni al corrente dell’esistenza delle creature paranormali poiché in parte la sua è una famiglia di cacciatori. Anche se i fratelli sono un po’ troppo protettivi con lei, la più snervante è sicuramente la madre, impuntata a trovarle un marito “appropriato” il prima possibile. È per sfuggire da lei che la protagonista lascia la villa di famiglia e incrocia così il cammino di Riley. Saia non sopporta più che qualcuno gestisca la vita al posto suo, è una giovane testarda, anche impertinente.
L’attrazione tra i due è immediata, ma Riley non è un tipo da relazioni, non vuole coinvolgere nessuno nel suo tipo di vita e in quello che lo aspetta, ma ovviamente le cose non andranno così. Per fortuna, perché quella di Riley e Saia è una storia molto coinvolgente e spicy al punto giusto.
La narrazione è in terza persona ma non mi ha dato problemi, sono riuscita ad entrare in sintonia con i personaggi comunque, la penna della Hunter riesce sempre a intrigarmi e tenermi incollata alle sue storie. Devo anche dire che questo suo romanzo è stato una ventata di novità, infatti, anche se ambientato nel Fallen Guardian World, le location sono diverse. Riley e Saia vivono a New Orleans, ma grazie alla loro storia ci ritroviamo anche nei meandri di Stygia, nel territorio dei Peccati capitali.
Tra i personaggi secondari ritroviamo qualche comparsa della serie Fallen Guardian, ma sono molto interessanti anche quelli che ci vengono presentati per la prima volta in questo libro.
Diciamo che io leggerei volentieri i libri con protagonisti altri personaggi, spero che l’autrice decida di scriverli prossimamente.
L’unica cosa di questo libro che mi ha lasciato un po’ così è stato il finale, l’ho trovato un po’ troppo rapido per i miei gusti, succedono diverse cose e avrei letto volentieri qualche capitolo aggiuntivo.
Se vi piacciono i paranormal romance spicy, i personaggi oscuri, le location “infernali” e un po’ di azione, Il sigillo del peccato è una lettura consigliata.

Ms. Georgia Lyn Hunter has the ability to capture her readers and won't let them go until the end. Tangled Sin in another installment of her Immortal Series, yet it's definitely a stand alone read.
What I love about Ms. Hunter, is her talent for writing a unique novel filled with action and an enticing storyline. The ultimate, or the cherry on top is the hotness between her main characters, this tale revolves around Riley and Saia.
If you like to read a paranormal, sizzling action packed romance then Tangled Sin is for you!!!

RECENSIONE A CURA DI SILVIA PER IL BLOG BOOK LOVER
Tutti i personaggi che si incontrano all’interno della storia sono necessari per il suo svolgimento. Sinceramente sto faticando molto a mettere nero su bianco le emozioni provate durante la lettura del romanzo,perchè vorrei dire molto sulla storia ma purtroppo poi finirei per raccontarvi tutto il romanzo e invece voglio che voi lo leggiate e che mi diciate cosa ne pensate.
Non vedo l’ora di leggere il secondo capitolo della serie e innamorarmi di nuovi personaggi e magari incontrare nuovamente Riley e Saia, anche perché ci sono alcuni personaggi che mi hanno incuriosito più di altri e la curiosità di leggere le loro storie è alta. Anche se questi due ormai hanno conquistato un posto tutto speciale nel mio cuore.

Great read. Riley is dark and dangerous and sexy as hell.
Saia is a woman who's had enough of her mother matchmaking, so moves away. She is world aware, her family are demon hunters, not her though, she wasn't born with that sense.
Riley is a man living a lie, he has woman falling at his feet. The women have no idea he is a demon, one that is hiding from his sire.
Saia and Riley connect one evening, he helps her out of a dangerous liason. He hopes he'll never see her again. Then discovers she has moved into the next apartment to him - that makes avoidance difficult!
Riley keeps his distance but soon circumstances force him to be there for her - you would think, fall in love, then happily ever after, but no so much happens in this story. There are different locations, dangers, even slightly different personalities from Riley, of course there's sex and eventually love and devotion but it's one wild ride I loved it.
I have to say this is book 5 in a series and I have not read this author before, but I didn't feel I missed anything as this book covered everything needed. I have now added other books to my TBR.
I really enjoyed this book, the characters are good and the authors writing style was great, its PNR too which is my favourite genre.

I love this book!!
I hadn't read any of Ms. Hunter's books before. This is a standalone, that's why I decided to read it first. I love paranormal and dark steamy romance which made me think I might enjoy Tangled Sin. It's far better than I expected.
Riley/Roemer is a Demon. Son of Wrath. Yes, Wrath the Sin. You know a little sin can be fun but, I never expected a Demon of this magnitude to be so smoking hot and actually loveable! Sai'a is a human woman that wants the heart and sexy body of Riley to be just for her. I love this girl, too. She's so sassy and strong willed. Obviously, their journey will not be easy.
I never tell what happens in a story when I review. I'm just going to say that I'm hooked and HAVE to read the rest of the series!! You should, too. You won't be disappointed. You will be taken places straight from nightmares and enjoy the ride. I wouldn't mind some of sinfully sexy Riley/Roemer in my dreams tonight!

Il sigillo del Peccato è un bellissimo Paranormal Romance ricco di sensualità, adrenalina, colpi di scena e due protagonisti costruiti benissimo a cui è facile affezionarsi.
I protagonisti sono descritti molto bene, ma anche i personaggi secondari sono delineati bene e hanno una certa importanza nell’evoluzione della storia.
Riley non è semplicemente un demone, è qualcosa di diverso e molto più pericoloso. Il titolo svela già una parte dell’arcano, ma io non ho intenzione di dirvi di più. Tuttavia, posso dirvi che la sua è un’eredità di sangue a cui non può sfuggire e che ogni secolo che passa la sua anima diventa sempre più oscura.
Saia Sen-Grayson è una giovane donna umana, ma provenendo da una famiglia di cacciatori è a conoscenza di creature soprannaturali. Ha tre fratelli molto protettivi con lei e una madre con cui ha un rapporto turbolento, poiché cerca in tutti i modi di combinare il suo matrimonio.
Il rapporto tra Riley e Saia si approfondisce e cresce di intensità di pari passo con la trama. Anche se all’inizio è la profonda attrazione a tenerli vicini, Riley capisce presto che quella ragazza umana rappresenta molto di più di una semplice avventura perché lei gli appartiene e starle lontano diventa sempre più difficile e complicato. La loro storia d’amore è davvero intensa, con una buona dose di tormento e ostacoli difficili da dover superare.
La narrazione è in terza persona ma il Pov è alternato e questo permette di imparare a conoscere molto bene i due protagonisti. Riley è davvero un personaggio complesso e con una sana dose di oscurità. Inoltre, il suo essere un po’ troppo possessivo e pericoloso lo rendono molto affascinante. Saia, poi, l’ho davvero adorata, anche se ha la tendenza a cacciarsi nei guai e di fare spesso di testa sua.
La trama è strutturata benissimo e il romanzo, nonostante abbia più di quattrocento pagine, si legge davvero in fretta e senza intoppi.
Lo stile di scrittura di Georgia Lyn Hunter è perfetto secondo me; la sua penna è scorrevole, divertente al momento giusto, intensa, passionale, ricca di sentimento. Ho apprezzato moltissimo la sua abilità di presentarci l’universo soprannaturale.
In questo libro troviamo il Paranormal, il Romance, la suspense, una sana dose di passionalità, dramma e tantissimo sentimento. È un romanzo indubbiamente completo e appassionante, l’unica pecca che ho trovato è stato il finale un pochino troppo frettoloso, anche perché alla fine ci sarà un bel colpo di scena e mi sarebbe piaciuto che fosse maggiormente approfondito. Forse l’autrice avrà intenzione di farlo con i prossimi volume e l’idea di ritrovare anche Riley e Saia non mi dispiacerebbe affatto. Quello che posso dire, senza ombra di dubbio, è che questo romanzo mi è piaciuto un sacco e sono molto contenta di averlo letto.

Saia is the baby girl of a very protective family. She knows there are other beings in this world because some of her family are demon hunters. Her main trouble is her mother, who insists on parading a seemingly unending supply of men as suitors for Saia to choose a husband from.
Riley tries very hard to keep Saia safe but she is a very stubborn woman who is fed up with other people running her life for her. He also has to protect her from himself, and the changes he is going through.
A great paranormal romance with lots of excitement. Plenty of fights between the demons and some very hot sex scenes from our protagonists. A nice long book to give you plenty to get your teeth into.
I loved it. I hope some of the secondary characters are going to get their own stories.

Tangled Sin is the first book in the Dark Realm series. This series is a spin off of the author's Fallen Guardian series. First, I have to say I love how each of her series are connected as it provides a familiarity unlike any other available out there and is a stroke of genius. Now on to my review. Riley is a demon and heir to a demonic throne. He has no desire to take his sire's place and continues to run from his destiny. Saia is from a family of supernatural hunters and trying to run from her overbearing mother. Fate brings them together. Georgia Hunter is a master at writing a story that is truly captivating and unique. I couldn't put this book down once I started. Not only will the main characters steal your heart, but also the supporting. There are several supporting characters that I'd love to see get their own stories. If you like J.R. Ward or Gena Showalter then you will love Georgia Hunter!

What I love about this book is that the banter of the characters are amazing - hilarious and you can easily get hooked on what they are talking about. Anyway, as the story goes, danger is lurking in the shadows and is looking for an opportunity to strike them. To protect Saia, Riley must face his past and must learn how to accept his destiny. Oh, before I forgot, this book made me cry! ugghhh!!!!! But I still love it though!

I can only imagine as an author how difficult it could be to keep a story line going AND to see people want to read it as well... Georgia without a doubt has mastered it. Her new world , Tangeled Sin " The Dark Realm" ( but still see some our favorite characters too ) is full of mystery and excitement. Riley is extremely sexy , guarded and of course dark (and don't forget all of the twist and surprises ) .. Saia, you really cant get enough of, she's a typical woman who has the same every day issues we all have, she is so fun loving and spunky all in one. She's really marvelous. Saia has to take on A LOT with Riley , but all of it comes right together! Get ready to cry, laugh, and scream and sigh. I had so many emotions during the read of this book , all of her new characters come alive with each page. Enjoy my friends !<3

The plot moves quickly rarely allowing you to come up for air.

Then there are the fight scenes. Full force physically and emotionally.
With everyone against Riley and Saia, as well as being hunted, does a future for them together stand a chance?
If you like your fantasy on the dark tumultuous side and your romance even darker and wilder, you will appreciate this dangerous adventure.

Freaking Fantastic!!!
Georgia Lyn Hunter is one amazing twisted, dark, sexy minded author! Which I absolutely love!!! She is my most newest number one favorite author...I mean it! Riley & saia's story is just as good as her other books you should also read! This paranormal romance was dark, sexy ass alpha male goodness, heartwarming, romantic...I could keep going! There are many books in where I found the hero to be strong, a complete alpha, yet sensitive to others feelings, but Riley is in a sphere all his own. With his horrific past, and the responsibility of his looming future, he still protects Saia in every way he can. Saia is strong and brave in her own right, and matches Riley in temperament. While stubborn, she is fearless and protective of Riley. A great read!!

What can I say? Absolutely loved it!!! Reading for the 2nd time now. Georgias work is flawless. The story line is very inventive and the way she combines each characters journey along with exciting and damm sexy situations will have you wanting for more! I cannot wait for the next books to come out. I am a totally captured and forever a follower of Georgia's writing and always will be. T G I can re-read all the books over and over till another one is released.

Avete presente i sette peccati capitali? Ebbene, Georgia ha deciso di farci girare la testa portandoci nel regno dei demoni dove ad ogni peccato appartiene un reame.
Riley è un demone nonchè l’erede al trono di Ira e siccome non è intenzionato a prendere il posto di suo padre, ha deciso di rifarsi una vita altrove. Infatti quando Saia si scontra con lui, Riley sta vivendo nel regno mortale come proprietario di un bar.
Saia invece è l’unica figlia femmina in una famiglia di cacciatori di demoni e già questo di per sè la rende fragile come cristallo. Se poi aggiungiamo al danno anche la beffa di una madre maniaca del controllo, con la puzza sotto al naso, e iperconcentrata nella ricerca del futuro marito di sua figlia… capirete come mai l’incontro-scontro con Riley non poteva che fare scintille.

Dark & Sexy
To be honest I wasn’t sure about Riley’s story, only because his cameo in FG with Aethan portrayed him as weak buuuuttt Georgia transitioned Riley’s story quite seamlessly aaannnnddd Riley IS a dark, dangerous, scary-sexy badass ... He’s lived almost 2 thousand years in the mortal realm trying to shake free of his destiny when Saia crashes into his world as the sassy irksome temptation he cannot resist. Their journey thru hell & back is full of perilous twists that make you wanna slap them both for being stubborn assbutts! I LOVE RILEY! Even dangerous & scary he’s such a sweetheart! Now Saia... she was aggravating at times & I was hoping for more supernatural gifts to strengthen her but she turned out to be a strong partner for Riley.
ABSOLUTE MUST READ!
As a stand-alone from the FG series this was such an awesome read! Georgia you eluded to more interaction between Aethan & Riley, please mesh these worlds together in a culmination of Guardians & Demons fighting together. I hope we’ll be treated to more of this Dark Realm world & expound on these strong fearsome characters.... more Gaelic & Liz ... Zayn & Aria... more Rohan ... Oh my looord this book! Riley and Saia are my new favorites 😍. From the very beginning their chemistry is amazing and I could not put this book down. Riley is the strong, sexy alpha that is so much more and Saia is everything I look for in a heroine: smart, funny, sexy, brave, and not overshadowed by her alpha male. I seriously need more to this series, and soooon!

I loved this story!!!! It was great! Riley and Saia are awesome characters and they pull you in from the very beginning. Saia just wants to live her own life and to be happy. She never feels good enough for her mom and that she is always a disappointment for her. Suitors are always being pushed on her and things don't go well. She loves her dad and her brothers, who are overprotective. She moves out to live with her Aunt Liz and that is where she runs into Riley for the first time. They are drawn to each other right away but Riley has people after him and doesn't want to deal with his father and everything that comes with it. Riley doesn't want to pull Saia into his dangerous life and so tries to avoid it. It doesn't work for long. They are meant to be and forces around them put them together and some try and tear them apart. I love the way that their relationship is built and their interactions. Riley isn't always the nicest, but Saia doesn't just let him get away with it either. She calls him on it. I was pulled in from the beginning of the story with these characters. I was drawn to them and wanted them to find their happy ending and figure things out. I felt them the whole story. I had to know what was going on and what was going to happen next. I loved the secondary characters as well and am hoping that we will get some of those stories soon. Georgia Lyn Hunter writes an awesome story and world that draws you in and makes you not want to leave! This is the 5th book in her Fallen Guardians World but the first book in the Dark Realm series. The two series are interconnected and this story can be read as a standalone story. It will just make you want to know more about this world. I can't wait for the next book!

This story started out just the way I like it with a sharp tongued sassy heroine. Saia had plenty of spunk and sass. I remembered Riley from Absolute Surrender an informant to my super hero, the blue-haired Guardian, Aethan. So, I knew Riley was a good guy (demon). Yes, Riley is another awesome and yummy alpha hero to swoon over.
This being the first novel in the Dark Realm series, this story did not disappoint. By chapter three I was knee deep in a gang fight. The plot was fast paced with action that just kept going. Along with the steamy hot chemistry between the hero and heroine this story had it all.
Ms. Hunter is an amazing paranormal author who knows how to spin a tale that pulls you in from the first page to the last. There’s a connection between the Fallen Guardians and the Dark Realm series, and I can see great things coming with the merge! Excellent read.

What a beautifully written, action-filled, paranormal!
I don’t normally read ‘demonish’ paranormal, but man was this fabulous. I really liked that the human heroine is brave and kicks ass without any special powers. (She’s a trouble magnet, by the way). I also loved the good demon Riley. He goes through hell in this book, but his love for Saia never falters. (Note: explicit sex of the hot and sometimes kinky kind occurs).
Hunter’s world is so vivid and alive that you won’t be able to put the book down. At least I couldn’t. And after an adventure packed story, you get to top it off with a ‘Love conquers All’ happy ending.
