Marvin is on a school trip at the Natural History Museum when a chilling roar resonates through the exhibition . . . the dinosaurs have come back to life and are wreaking havoc! Marvin will need to assume his secret super-identity and try to save the Museum. It's time for another thrilling adventure for the intrepid Marv!
This is one for the boys. Dinosaurs. Super hero. Villian. Wow. Marv is off on a school trip to the museum but a villian soon emerges and would you believe it? He makes all the dinosaurs come alive for real. Who can save them? Marv ofcourse turns super hero trying to catch the villian and stop the dinosaurs. Can he do it without his classmates suspecting it is him? Can he save the day? Easy, fast and short read with beautiful illustrations throughout. A book for all the little boys out there and one which represents a different minority of readers. I enjoyed this one. A well deserved four stars from me. Marv to the rescue.
The second in Alex Falase-Koya’s superhero series for children aged 5+ (with great, inclusive illustrations by Paula Bowles) is an action-packed affair with important messages about friendship and kindness. Rex was a more threatening supervillain, Pixel has more of a character here than “cute robot” and there are more hints that Joe knows Marvin’s secret. All in all, the series is developing nicely and I look forward to reading on.
