They hurt my babies
And I have feelings about it. But I can say that this was a very solid addition to the hells handler‘s world. Even though it’s a novella it does this wonderful job of tying together our classic HH world with this new HH world. Curley set the stage for the building of this Florida chapter, this Florida brotherhood. But this short does an amazing job of tying together these two worlds more firmly, reminding us of the old bonds and the different relationships that tie Tennessee and Florida together. It also opens up new doors and new avenues for drama, and all of the bad that people are going to try and bring to the Florida chapter. It was a really solid installment for being a novella. Kind of upset I don’t own it physically, but can’t wait to continue on in this world.

This is just a quick little novella to join the Hell Handlers and the Hell Handlers Florida and a Christmas for Maverick and Stephanie.
I enjoyed this series but still have a problem with some of these authors who don't understand the way we do and say things in the US and the Southern States. It's not an Airbnb or whatever you want to call it ... It's nothing more than a rental house .... points off the rating

Me: Oh, look! When did Lilly Atlas put out another book? I totally missed this one. Aw, cute. It's another Christmas one. That will be so sweet. *starts reading it*
Me: Gah! Ms. Atlas! Why? WHY? They've BEEN THROUGH ENOUGH. THEY'VE BEEN THROUGH ENOUGH. Leave Mav and Steph alone!
Hahaha. So this novella wasn't quite what I was expecting. Yes, it did have all of the wise-cracking Maverick fun you'd come to expect. It also was a bit rough to read. This is not a light-hearted Christmas book, and you definitely have to be in the right frame of mind to read it. It takes place after the events of Curly, and I would consider it a crossover event for the two chapters of the Hell's Handlers MC. (As I write this in May 2022) From what it looks, we'll get another Hell’s Handlers MC Florida Chapter Series book soon with Spec (Chloe's brother) as lead.
Maverick and Stephanie travel down to Florida for a Christmas vacay. They go visit Curly and his crew because...why not? And plan on spending some well-deserved relax and beach time. Unfortunately, they run into some former club brothers of Curly's old club (the one that dissolved after he was framed and went to jail). They are mad because...I dunno. They weren't the ones who went to jail. lol But they have a stick up their butts because, in the end, Curly was the one who came out on top because he's a nice guy. Well, sort of. He's nice to his woman, his club brothers, and animals. Good enough. Hah. When Mav and Steph have a run-in with this resurrected club, their vacation becomes a trip of horrors, and their relationship will be put to the test. Again. Because Ms. Atlas hates these characters apparently and wants them to SUFFER.
This was an excellent, quick read that was fast-paced, emotional, and gripping. A few tears were shed. Laugh out loud moments were had. It was what I have come to expect from this series and this author. I would not skip this one as it sets up the next Florida book quite well. You can see that Spec is having all sorts of trouble mentally. I think maybe he's having a hard time transitioning from the military? Maybe PTSD? I don't know. Those are just guesses on my part. I'll be interested to find out. Anyhow, good book. Well worth five stars. Oh, and you will be giggling when you find out why the title is about Maverick and mistletoe. Hahahahahaha.

Funny and Scary all in one book
Stephanie and Maverick have already endured so much together. So a get away at Christmas is what they have planned. Fun and sun on the beach in Florida is their idea of a good time, with a quick stop off to check in on the new club in Florida.
However, they get more than they bargain for when they reach the club. Scott or Spec as he’s referred to now has gone of the rails. Will Stephanie and Maverick get to their Christmas hide away?

Maverick and Mistletoe: A Hell's Handlers Short Story by Lilly Atlas... I forget how much I miss these guys!!! Mav and Steph are one of my favorites .. well they all are, but these two are hysterical together. Add on Curly and the new FL chapter and some of his old club intrigue, and this novella is full of fun and excitement! A great short read!!!! 😍😍😍

Awh Mav just Awh
Love this author and the HHMC. Nice little detour for Christmas and mav and Steph catch up. Only criticism is of Steph being ex fbi and an old lady whose been round the block before being given a very diluted version of herself when under attack. Felt the author did her character a disservice by the way she handled the kidnapping. Other than that loved it.

Love Mav !
It was so good to catch up with one of my favorite couples from the Hell's Handlers MC series.
Maverick is an absolute cracker and has me in stitches at the words that come out of his mouth.
Stephanie is his equal in everyway and I just love how they bounce off of each other. Can't wait to read more. This is one of my favorite mc series. I highly recommend.

Awesome!
The HHMC is always exciting times. I have to say though, that Maverick is in a league of his own. He has no filter, does and says what he wants no matter how outrageous. His lady love Stephanie is a perfect match. I laughed out loud at their goofing off. The action in the book makes want to read their original story all over again!

Short but good story!
Love Lilly’s MC series! The fierce, kick-a$$ yet loving MC men are awesome! Really love the strong,smart women who complement their MC men! Gotta have both be strong characters! Really enjoy Lilly’s stories-the full length ones & short- they’re all terrific!!

This story was good from the very beginning! Had to finish it in one sitting! Plus who doesn't like Maverick? Plenty of action and suspense for a short story! Definitely want more Handler stories!!

Mistletoe
Stef and Mav are so in from their first time together. Taking a vacation to Florida for Christmas has them reliving their worse nightmare. But their love is strong survived anything.

This was a captivating and fast-paced read that evoked a range of emotions, from tears to laughter. The alternating chapters between Maverick and Stephanie allowed us to reconnect with beloved characters and added depth to the story. Maverick and Stephanie make a dynamic and lovable couple.
The chemistry between Steph and Maverick is undeniable, and their interactions are sizzling. Spec, also known as Scott, appears to be going through a tough time and is struggling emotionally. We thoroughly enjoyed joining Maverick and Steph are on their holiday getaway, which turned out to be anything but uneventful. Their vacation was filled with unexpected twists and turns, making it a memorable and entertaining read.
