What if everything you believed was a lie?

After the battle aboard the Diagon ship, things have taken an unexpected turn for Sabeara and her friends.

Having finally found the king’s compass, and taken Obsidian captive, Sabeara must now retrieve the last two tokens to save her people and kingdom. But the next item she and her friends seek is in a place they cannot reach without an invitation. And there’s only one person with a reputation vicious enough to obtain an invite to the Dark Fell. . .

Sabeara must stand up and fight unlike ever before when unforeseen obstacles arise. Faced with seemingly endless decisions that could alter her destiny, Sabeara must put faith in a mere myth and allow her heart to reign instead and let go of the control she so desperately seeks. But will letting go induce chaos?

***

Sunn is torn between her mind and heart as she battles her feelings for a man that everyone around her considers a monster. He saved her back on the Diagon, but will he save her again?

Darkness battles the light, and succumbing to the night has never felt or tasted so sweet.

Sunn is courageous enough to take on the curse alongside her family and friends, but she will learn firsthand that love cannot heal everything that is broken. And that even the Stone-Hearted are not immortal.

Ascended is the ending to Sabeara's epic adventures and the final book in the Granted Series.

Early ARC review; Five star for the last book of the series!

So much growth and I loved it! Even more world building, fighting, and also separate chapters of another character couple in POV. Kendra did well blending the different POV chapters and writing it in a way the series can still potentially continue, but with different characters.

I did feel the ending was a bit rushed and I still have questions on a few things, or wished scenes had played out I actually theorized on but didn’t. Overall though five star for Ascended and cannot wait to read the final published book to see if more scenes were added or any changed.

P.S. I would definitely like a spin off of the series if Kendra decides to go that route in the future.

I received eARC for my honest opinion

I will be honest I still was not happy with who Sabeara chose in the last book, and I was still rooting for my favorite guy to win her heart. However, I guess not everyone can get their way or can they. . .

Book four for me had everything I love in a YA fantasy/romance: romance, magic, action, adventures, sadness, betrayal, and an epic ending.

Wow let me tell you I have been waiting for this book for a year now, I had to know how the story was going to end and wow, this book did not let me down. I loved every twist and turn in the plot, some of them I was not expecting but pleasantly happy with that outcome, others I was heartbroken for. I love how the plot was wrapped up nicely in the book and we got to see and have things explained to us. Not everything though, I loved how there is a second plot at the end of the book... Do I dare wish we will get a spinoff with Sunn and of course all the other characters we have grown to love? That cliffhanger at the ending though was a little rough though, that is why I am hoping that we will get another book or a spinoff series. I need to know what happens with Sunn.

The character development has been amazing throughout the whole series and in this book, you will get to see even more developments and acceptance from characters. I thought Sabeara and Mids development was my favorite until Sunn and Obsidian, Now I have 2 more favorite characters. I loved that from the beginning of this series Kendra has not stopped with her beautifully detailed worlds she has created for us. I still to this day wish that I could be with that gang of friends and fight off curses and go on all the adventures with them. With Kendras attention to details, she really can bring you into this world and keep you wanting more, I know I already want more.

With all the magic, great humor, romance, great plot, fast paced and action scenes you will not be disappointed in picking up this series and reading it.

I want to thank Kendra Thomas for allowing me the opportunity to be one of the first few to read this eARC.

I was provided an eARC of this book by the author Kendra Thomas. I have been waiting for this book for a year now because I was very disappointed in Sabeara for choosing Dusane over Mid!!! The overall plot did not disappoint!! We got more love triangle angst and finally get a conclusion to who Sabeara chooses. There is also a major plot twist involving a character which I thought might double agent but it was more major than that. I absolutely loved the Sun/Obsidian chapters too!! I only rate 4 stars because I feel like the writing is rushed and some things could have been more fleshed out to match the pace and details of the previous books.

I received an eARC of this book

I absolutely loved this book! It will totally keep your attention. 2 words…..plot twist! Absolutely blew my mind and it totally had me freaking out. I was not all the way satisfied with the ending of this book, it was left sort of open ended and I wish that there was more to satisfy my needs. Other than that it was totally amazing! The romance was just the right amount and I loved to watch Sunn and Obsidian’s love story grow because I freaking love their characters! I love how Kendra did different POV’s…it really spiced up the book for me.

If you like a good romance with adventure, betrayal and magic, this is the book for you!

Eeek I'm inbetween a 2 and 3 for this one. I loved the first 20% of this, it was so addictive and good and exciting! Aaaand then pretty much everything else felt so rushed and messy. Also, I'm just not a Mid fan at all (I don't like his "I don't take no for an answer" thing) but I seriously was not expecting Dusane to be the big bad villian. It came completely out of left field and I loved book 2. I'm all for a twist but it just didn't make any sense to me and happened so fast.

Overall this was still a fun series to dive into and if there's ever a spin off with Sunn and Obsidian I would totally read it!

I received an arc of this for a review. 🤍

I’ve read all of the books in this series and I loved all of them. This one was definitely my favorite as it has the most Sunn and Obsidian who are my favorite, FAVORITE characters. I was also extremely happy because there is a plot twist regarding a certain character I didn’t like and never knew why. So lemme just feel like Sherlock Holmes for a second—

Jokes aside, I definitely enjoyed it and I would recommend it to fans of the Kiss of Deception or Enchantment of Ravens. I feel like the “vibes” were similar 😂

I very kindly received an eARC from Kendra after having love the rest of the series

Whilst I loved Sabeara and her perspective it was refreshing and exciting to have different I found this book engaging and different to what I theorised would happen! Her character development between now and the first book is immense. I loved Sunn and I thought her writing, as always was brilliant!

Good for fans of Romance, fantasy, magic and action

Overall I thought it was one of my favourite books of the year and also of the series!

The final novel in this series. I remember first meeting Kendra Thomas through a friend’s buddy read on IG- love meeting new authors this way! I can really see how much her writing has grown over the years!

So this one had me digging deeper into Obsidian as a character- there’s SO MUCH to unpack there. I also really enjoy his storyline along with Sunn, I found myself skipping quickly through the pages of Sabeara and Dusane to get back to Sunn and Obsidian.

BTW: still not a fan of Dusane.

I also really needed Sabeara to make some different decisions…which she does, in her own way.

I still really like Mid and was rooting for him throughout the story. Like just the gentle comforts and the way he knew what needed to be done…just yes.

The twisted little ending, I am wondering if that means another spin off series for Sunn…there’s so much to explore there, hopefully so, and I need more Obsidian storyline.

This book had me on the edge of my seat! I'm devastated that this is the last book in the Granted series, but talk about an unexpected conclusion! I laughed and cried and gasped and wanted to throw my Kindle at the end, but I loved every moment of it!!! (I am holding out a little hope that there may be another book down the road to give us more about a certain feisty character and their journey beyond the war!! 🤞🏻)

(I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.)

I really wanted to like this book more but unfortunately it didn’t feel right to me :(

There were quite a few errors throughout the book that really changed my experience when reading this series. The story was great but Ascended just felt too rushed and I feel that the outcome could have been different❤️‍🩹

But having said that I did enjoy some twists and turns that left me shocked for a while!
Sabeara and Mid all the way!

I'm so glad to have gotten the chance to read this as an ARC copy.

This book continues the journey that I was absolutely engrossed with from the beginning and takes it on a wild turn that I never would have expected.

I wish some things went differently or were expanded on a bit more but I'm happy to have read the whole series and thats good enough for me.

This was a fun end to the series! Lots of plot twists I didn’t see coming for this book that I liked. Some of the writing felt a little repetitive and rushed to me, but I enjoyed the overall story and it was a satisfying end to everything that began in the first book.

This book is by far the best of the four! I keep thinking they can’t get any better but this one was so good. There were twists and turns, lots of action scenes and dragons. Better than I expected it to be. Well done !

There is more action, adventure, magic, romance, world building, plot twists included in the book which I absolutely loved and enjoyed. More in-depth knowledge of other characters were there, and we got to know more about many characters than before. This is the best ending of this series that I could wish for.

Sabeara's character development has been amazing through the book, she grows and develops throughout the series, but especially in this book. She slowly builds herself, both mentally and emotionally. Her coping mechanism can be seen, her process of controlling and burying her emotions. I loved her found family with Shar, Liony and others; and how she found herself. I loved her relationship with Mid throughout the book, and shipped them together.

The questions from all the previous books have been answered in this, secrets about the past has reveled. The plot twists were unpredictable, and left me gasping and thinking about them during and after the book. I liked how the love triangle ended in this book. Throughout the series, the love triangle was well done.

The addition of POV has been incredible, it increased the enjoyment of the book and made it more interesting. I was invested in seeing through someone else point of view other than Sabeara.

Sunn has become one of my favorite characters along with Sabeara, her character development from the last book to this has been amazing, It was really interesting to know about her feelings, thoughts, inside turmoil. I loved her strength and determination.

I loved the growth and development of relationship between Sunn and Obsidian. I hope we get to read more about them, and they get their own book (the epilogue is giving me hope about this).
