Vampires Realm #4

Seventh Circle

Rate this book
Born with powers similar to a vampire's, Lilith has spent her life hunting demons for Section Seven. On the same night as she watches a vampire kill her best friend, she is faced with her worst nightmare—a client who is not only attractive but a vampire.

Lincoln is a powerful pureblood with a problem. He's caught up in a prophecy and has little time left to unravel the mystery of the contract between his lord and the Devil before he dies. When witches foretell that a vampire hunter will save his life, he's prepared to work with his most hated enemy, but he isn't prepared for the forbidden desire he feels when he meets her.

Their mutual attraction becomes difficult to deny as they work together but when Lincoln reveals the truth about her powers, will Lilith find the strength to embrace a side of herself that she wished didn't exist? And when they discover Lilith's role in the prophecy, how far will Lincoln go to save her?

Dark, sensual and fast-paced, Seventh Circle is a story of forbidden love so strong that it will save the world.

Don't be put off because I only gave three stars! I really did enjoy this book, but for me it just lacked something; I'm not sure what, whether it just wasn't pacey enough for me, or not enough passion, I'm not sure, but it just didn't make me want to read faster to find out what happened, like other books have done! Also, I have marked this with other books I have read over the past few weeks in mind, and it didn't match up to some of those that I gave 4 and 5 stars, which is the reason for this score!

Having said that, it is a good plot and some of the characters are very likeable, and there are a couple of twists to the storyline that were interesting. It was cleverly written to fit in with the time-line of things that had been happening with characters in other books, (eg: Prophecy from the first books in this saga), and it's not easy to make sure that those sort of things work well. I did enjoy this story, and I do really like Felicity Heaton's style of writing, but in my opinion this was not as good as some others she has written. Still worth a read though, and is good value for money. I am definitely going to continue reading the rest of the books in the series.

Easy to follow story.

Felicity is an amazing author.
Her writing is fluid with twists and turns to keep you enthralled.
I love this genre of Dragons, Werewolves, and Vampires. I have read lots of different authors, and lot I would not recommend, leaving you with cliffhanges. Felicity from what I have read does not.
In this series, each book has the main characters story on love and intrigue with an underlying plot of deception. The sex is not in your face explicit, and being Vampires, not what you would expect, and definitely not kinky lol.
Reading this series of books to me is like watching a good film, an epic.
Everything you would want, love, passion, intrigue, and action and a good story ending in a conclusion.
Highly recommended. 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.

I loved Lincoln and Liliths tale.I couldn't put It down. It explained why Lincoln popped up in one of the Prophecy books. I loved that Lilith was a strong heroine who kicks butt. Lincoln was a vampire with a unique gift and story. I liked the fact that they had to get past their own prejudices and pasts before the love story developed. It's also opened up more future books for other characters and ties in well with the Prophecy trilogy.

This is the fourth book in the Vampire Realm Romance Series. I loved it!

Lilith is a fascinating character. I liked her very much. She is a very strong character with a kick ass attitude. She is a human vampire hunter, working for Section Seven and has a special gift, which allows her to track vampires. She sees this gift as a curse, but when a powerful vampire comes into her life with a business proposal, she finds out something about herself that totally shocks her.

Lincoln is a very powerful Vehemens vampire and is four hundred years old. I really liked him. He can be a little arrogant and condescending towards humans, but he also has a gentle side that not many people, vampires included, see. He is also the Chosen Son (sort of like the second in command) of his house, which makes him pretty important to his bloodline.

This is the fourth book in the series, and things are getting more complicated for the full blooded vampire houses - Caelestis, Aurorea, Venia, Validus, Vehemens, Tenebrae and Nocens.
The story is told from both Lilith's and Lincoln's point of view, which gives the reader an insight into their thoughts and feelings. I was completely engrossed from the first page and struggled to put my Kindle down long enough to eat lunch! Thank goodness it was the weekend, else I would have been rather annoyed if I couldn't get back to reading it until later! I picked up the book again, and was quickly pulled back into the story. A different prophecy has come to light, which involves not only Lincoln, but Lilith herself, and needs to be fulfilled. The surprising twists and turns kept me turning the pages. Lincoln has a few secrets of his own, and has a very interesting back story; I was intrigued by it. There are also some other interesting characters in this story, and a few familiar faces make a welcome return. Daniel, Lilith's boss, is another one keeping secrets and Mark, her boyfriend, is a total jerk! Meeting Lilith's father was an interesting experience - I would love to know his story one day. It was also nice to see Prophecy, Valentine and Venturi again, even though it was only for a short flying visit.
The fight scenes were exciting and extremely vivid, as usual. I can't decide which are the best - the fight with the fallen angel or the deadly fight with Cerberus. In any case, each scene (whether a fight scene or any scene in general) is described in such a way that I felt like I was there. I also felt that this story had a bit more depth to it and the laws and hierarchy of the vampires more fully explained, as the world building has developed and evolved. The end of the story has a slight twist and, although this book could be read as a stand alone, I am now looking forward to reading the next intriguing installment in the series, Winter's Kiss.

Felicity Heaton has written another fantastic paranormal romance. I love her writing style, which is fast paced, exciting and believable. She is number one on my Favourite Authors List.

As this is an erotic paranormal romance with explicit scenes, I do not recommend this book to younger readers. However, I highly recommend this book if you love erotic paranormal romances full of action, adventure and sexy vampires. - Lynn Worton

Seventh Circle is the fourth book in the Vampire Realm Series. Lincoln was entered into a pact with the devil by the Lord of the Vehemens. Only one can help him, Lilith, a vampire hunter. Lilith is an Elite Hunter with special abilities, and a strong hatred for vampires. She was angered by having to take Lincoln on as a client. She was confused when she started to have feelings for him. Now they work together to fulfill a destiny that will greatly affect them both.

Lilith is an amazing female. Her extraordinary gifts bring forth a darkness within that allows her to fight. She is at odds with her gift in the beginning, but it was exciting when she started to move on to embrace it. Lincoln is the Chosen Son of the Vehemens and violence rules him. The magnetism between Lincoln and Lilith weighs heavy even when Lilith is fighting the lure of the gorgeous vampire. I am partial to this interesting pair. I was also happy to see Prophecy, Valentine, and Venturi make an appearance. I am hoping future books will elaborate on the dynamics of their relationship.

I found Seventh Circle to be very exciting. Although I liked the Prophecy Trilogy very much I liked this one even better. I cannot say anything about Heaton I have not said before. She is an amazing storyteller. One aspect that I really enjoy about the series is that the vampires do not cater to the human race. They are driven to survive, and that means there is no guilt over the kill. They have the ability to mate and love, but their species is not sugar coated.

Vampire lovers will not want to miss out on this series! If you are a fan of werewolves or demons do not despair, there is a little something for you too. This is a paranormal series you can really dig your claws into!

4.5 Stars...

Seventh Circle by Felicity Heaton is about Lincoln and Lilith. Lincoln is a powerful vampire and Lilith is an elite Vampire Hunter for Section Seven. Lilith despises Vampires and when she is told that Lincoln is her new client she is not pleased. Lincoln has come to Lilith for help with a Prophesy. He was told she is the one that can save him but he isn’t thrilled to be working with her either. He sees humans as beneath him, as animals. As they work together their attitudes about each other slowly change to love. Lincoln knows that loving Lilith is forbidden, but can he stop? Lilith must face truths about herself and those around her, truths that will rock the foundations of her life.

Reading about Lincoln and Lilith coming together makes for a very engrossing tale. It is a dark story about love and survival. You become immersed in the world Felicity Heaton has created. I was up until the wee hours of the morning reading this. I didn’t want to put it down. It is a good combination of action, intrigue and romance. The writing was smooth and flowed nicely. It’s a great book and I would recommend it to anyone who likes Vampire tales and Paranormal Romance.

Just when you think the Prophecy is completed another facet reveals itself. I’d been wondering how this book fit into the series story line. About 2/3s of the way in the connection shows up, though it’s an odd stretch.

This is about an experienced vampire hunter named Lilith who is hired by a powerful vampire named Lincoln (Vehemens bloodline) to protect him from the dangers of an apocalyptic prophecy (connected to the earlier books) and the minions of hell. A trio of witches (hmmm) had told him that Lilith would save him if he can find her.

Of course working close together they fall in love which is forbidden on both sides. But it all works out as does the danger through loopholes and a lot of luck. The good guys that show up at the end confused me as they didn't seem much different from the bad guys.

I love Lilith’s father, but the rest of her ‘friends’ are jerks especially Mark. And the big surprise at the end is going to make for interesting details in future books.

Quick Thoughts: 1) it’s interesting to see the inner working of the vampire hunters from their POV.

Fave Scenes: 1) The visit with Oneiric at club One, the warehouse rescue, the fight with Verona and the fight with Cerberus

I enjoyed this one quite a bit. It wasn't quite as emotionally wrenching as Winter's Kiss (meaning that I didn't get all teary eyed, thankyouverymuch) but it gave a much broader picture of vampire hierarchy and the laws that govern them.

As a Hunter, Lilith is strong, fast and a cut above the men and women she works with at Section Seven. Her attraction to Lincoln is immediate and incendiary. Of course, Lilith feels the need to fight against this attraction because no self-respecting Hunter wants to know the touch of a Vampire. Unraveling the prophecy surrounding Lincoln and the part she might play in it becomes even more complex when her own origins are brought to light.

Overall, I liked it. I like seeing the world expand. I like seeing new demons and new horrors. I like knowing that even the impossible can become possible.

I have read and enjoyed all of Felicity Heaton's books but this one is my favourite.
Lilith is a strong heroine. A vampire hunter enhanced to fight her sworn enemy. She hates everything about vampires and is not afraid to show it. Our hero Lincoln is a powerful vampire from an ancient pure bloodline. He has little time for humans and even less for vampire hunters but is forced to seek out Lilith's help to save him from a fate involving the devil and hell hundreds of years in the making.
This book is a roller coaster of a ride with lots of action and emotions, great characters who have to be prepared to have their preconceived ideas and beliefs completely altered.
I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish and highly recommend it.

I loved this one! I really needed a longer book after reading Eternity, Spellbound and Reunion. I loved the fact that there was more action and less sex ( thanks to Spellbound of course for the sex overload). I found myself loving Lincoln's character as much as Venturi. He was sexy and strong from the start and went straight for the prize like Venturi. I wanted to love Valentine that way but he was a bit too difficult for me. I think it was mostly because of how serious he was and guarded in his feelings. Venturi and Lincoln just reached out and GRABBED! I also don't know why but every time Hyperion pops up in these stories I literally turn all giggly and stuff!

This is the seventh book in the Vampire's Realm series and as usual Felicity does not let me down. Lincoln and Lillith's story is extraordinary. A vampire working with a vampire hunter..... Hell must have froze over, speaking of hell, no not really :)

I do suggest if you love wonderfully, steamy, heartwarming stories that you will love this. I have to admit I am a huge fan of Felicity Heaton.I fall in love with her characters and her writing. Her Angel Series, VET series, andthe Vampire Realm series are exciting and you just never know what is next!

Another wonderful Vampires Realm book! Great to see Lincoln again, and to learn more about the bloodlines and their hierarchy, as well as what happened with the law-keepers after the big battle with Prophecy. Lilith is a strong heroine, who had to battle on many fronts at the same time. Great writing, and a lot of suspense, and some romance as well.

Lilith and Lincoln are really two star-crosed people who find themselves lost in passion. I love how this book takes you on many twists and turns. By the end of the book, you are so involved that you can't put it down. I literally stayed up all night to finish it. Very good writing with lots of what I like, passion, romance and adventure.

This story line is great...except I mention as I have before that there is just not enough tie-in to the first of the series: "The Prophecy Trilogy". Eventually things will begin to click; but just like any continued books in a series, a small recap of previous story lines helps the readers to keep up. If I hadn't been reading the series back-to-back, I could be and probably would be lost.
