For them it’s all a game, but to me it’s survival.
When an opportunity to work at the exclusive island resort called The Limit comes up, I can’t say no. I’ll only be a maid, but at least it’ll get me off the streets and offer me somewhere to hide out from my stepfather.
But a case of mistaken identity changes everything.
The men who own this place—Brody, Wilder, Rafferty, and Asher—think I am someone else, and when an offer of winning a million dollars is put in front of me, how can I tell them the truth?
These men are all different, but they all have one thing in common, they’re all broken, and now they want to break me.
The game involves a hunt across the island. If I win, I get my heart’s desire. If they win, they get to do whatever they want to me.
But as the days pass, limits get blurred and boundaries are broken, and as my secrets bubble to the surface, the danger only increases.

Wow, this was much darker than I was expecting. Not that it's a bad thing. I just struggle with humiliation and degradation.
This story started off and I'm reading along thinking I know how this is gonna go. Our h, Honor, is in a tough predicament and on the run. When an opportunity presents itself for her to make enough money to truly be free of her past and bring justice to her mother, she impulsively jumps in feet first.
Honor was a virgin, but is willing to go through these sexual situations and hard sex that is very overwhelming as long she focuses on the end goal. The situation with the guys wasn't really that bad, but she was so out of her depth. It was palpable the angst and fear yet with pleasure mixed in too that Honor was feeling. As well as the shame and self-condemnation. My heart broke for Honor, who felt she had to do whatever it took to be safe.
Then I was completely thrown for a loop by the events at the end. I was not expecting the guys to act and behave the way they did. What they did to her. Things definitely went dark quick. I didn't care for some of the humiliation and objectification before the big reveal so I was really struggling with what was happening after the reveal. This very quickly devolved into a dub-con really non-con, that had my heart lurching in my chest for Honor.
This ends on a gut wrenching cliffhanger that I hope I will not have long to wait for next one. I know that one is going to be dark and raw. I wonder at point the guys are going to realize that what happened to them is exactly what they are doing to poor innocent Honor, and then how they are going to handle that revelation. I can't wait!
Even though this is an ARC review, I will always shoot you straight. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Starts out intriguing, a young girl fleeing to a private island to escape her stepfather. She signed up to be a maid but discovers they believe she signed up to participate in their primal hunts and kinks.
I couldn’t get into this story. The plot was not progressive enough given the little story it covered. The character development wasn’t strong enough that the heroes were individual and distinct, at least initially. There was also the usual cliche nerdy and lean smart guy with glasses who was more kinky than his appearance conveyed. It became turned off with all the descriptive detail of the room, the setting.
I enjoyed it until the last few chapters they just completely ruined any chance of them being redeemable to me. It’s meant to be bdsm but honestly the sex is pretty mid it’s mainly just a bit of primal kink. The main reasons i can’t with this book is they revoke her safe word at the end and then the mcs an@l r*pr her like whyy did you have to ruin it and not even give tws at the beginning. Rich dude yaps on and on about how consent is so important for the hotel programs to run and all of them are on this revenge mission against the priest that SAd them but they are eager to r*pe the fmc just wtf how does that track?!
This has been sitting in my KU FOREVER! Like not kidding.. so I decided to start with it. Then I could not stop! Honor ends up on an island to work for 4 men as a maid but there was some confusion and she ended up as the "chase". She needs the money and she's hiding from her step-father. It's not immediate the reason why she's running from him. Then there's the 4 men... Rafferty, Wilder, Asher and Brody... they have an island where men can live out their fantasies. They also are searching for a man they all have in common from their past. It is not revealed the details until book 2. The start is amazing with hints here and there as to what book 2 brings.
Honestly for being a short book, this was pretty good.
It starts out with the FMC running from someone, but we don’t find out who until about halfway through the book. We don’t even know why yet, but I can take a few guesses.
Since she is running she is out of cash and takes a desperate job as a maid on a super swanky and allusive island. But she is mistaken for one of the girls that is there to play certain games with 4 other men.
This book is a whirlwind on Hunter/Prey activity and I’m here for it. I just wish the scenes where the FMC is running had a bit more suspense and anxiety to it.
I was quite pleasantly surprised by this book. The concept is intriguing. A down on her luck girl running from her abusive stepfather applies for a job as a maid as a luxury resort that caters to specific tastes and winds up instead being mistaken for one of the subjects of the "hunt" in a case of mistaken identity. She can't resist the lure of the money and the safety of the resort, so she goes with the charade signing herself up to be hunted by the four co-owners of the resort. There's lots of primal play that feeds into our innocent heroine's secret fantasies and she finds herself reluctantly enjoying being hunted and caught. I really enjoyed the setup as well as the way the author wrote the male protagonists. They all had distinct individual personalities and their own attitudes and feelings towards the heroine. Honor was likeable despite the dreaded betraying body syndrome that is alive and strong throughout the book. My one complaint is that this could have been a great set-up for a surprise virgin scenario, but it totally missed the mark on that. Of course, at a certain point the deception comes out and the proverbial poop hits the fan. The guys are mad and Honor is in for an unpleasant surprise. She has to make some hard choices and chooses (I use that word loosely) to stay but with a whole new set of rules (or lack of thereof). Here is where we're left on a cliffy and I can't wait for book two.

When the author says it’s really dark, it truly is. PLEASE CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS BEFORE READING THIS BOOK
I love this book, I was looking for something dark and why choose romance and this book truly delivered in the dark and why choose. The story it’s soo dark and the scenes are sooo good, you really have to be prepare when reading this, the humiliation and degradation are STRONG and the consensual non-consensual it’s extremely playing in the border of this two. I love the storyline, the primal hunt and everything this book has. Will be reading the hole story and love all of their characters.
I wouldn’t recommend this book to anyone, just specific persons that I know and I know what they can endure.
I enjoyed this book, it is well written but do be aware there is more to come and the book ends on a cliffhanger (ish). I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Did anybody else think their behavior was kind of harsh? Like I get that she lied to them, but now they want to punish her? Sexually? What really disgusted me was the fact that they took away her safe word and continued to do things to her even after she used it.
Honor is on the run, trying to hide from her step father. She takes a job on a private island owned by four men, to work as a maid at their resort. But, because she’s on the run, she leaves two days early, hoping to get a bed to herself (finally). What she doesn’t know is that the resort these four men run is for people to explore their primal kink. People pay to come to the island, and chase down their girl. The guys are planning on their own hunt too, and Honor just so happens to get mixed up as their hunt girl. She sticks it out, hoping to win the money at the end so she can finally take down her step father. Let’s just say thinks get dark, sexy, and gritty.
I’ll keep this review short and simple. I liked this book! Know what you’re getting into before picking it up; there’s certain kinks explored that are NOT for everyone.
This book is definitely dark and gritty-probably darker than I was anticipating it would be. But I was so curious about what was going to happen as I was reading, and we end on a big cliffhanger that definitely leaves you wanting more.
I will complain about the overall concept that they don’t know who she is and they have the wrong girl enter their hunt- you don’t know who you’re hiring? You don’t know that your maid is named Honor and your hunt girl has a different name? How do you get this mixup? Lmao Also, they were SUPER pissed to find out the truth about who she is at the end but I just didn’t think it was that big of a deal? That’s just me.
Anyway, I would for sure recommend if you’re into dark romances and this plot interests you.
Honor arrives on the Island where she’s mistaken for someone else . She’s given a contract to sign but she can’t make head nor tails of the conditions until she she’s $1 million she decides to sign thinking things can’t be that bad . Really enjoyed this book and I’m hoping book 2 is out already.
If you're uncomfortable with unclear consent or coercion this is definitely not for you. This includes very rough sexual content and references to SA (vague and in the past).
Overall, the story kept me interested and moved at a pretty quick pace. It was fairly well written. I'll be looking forward to the sequel in July.
Lack of plot, blurred limits? more like blurred lines. NO conclusion either just a "tada we done" feels like a cash grab. The concept of these men being that stupid as to never check anything, not even just them, EVERYONE, too stupid to notice a wrong person, really makes you wonder...... Then add in spelling mistakes, missed words, and other errors in editing... OH and lets not even get to the 'sex', that felt like mid at best, terrible writing. How could ANYONE enjoy this? Oh and rape, full on rape at the end, and saw someone saying this was 'great bdsm' how? For those wondering, the safe word is removed to 'punish' her. Do with that what you will.
Blurred Limits is book one in the Limits trilogy. A full-length steamy standalone novel with no cheating and ends on a mind-blowing cliffhanger. A beautifully written story with broken people and a complex storyline that grabs you by the throat and keeps you hooked, invested and turning the pages until the jaw-dropping cliffhanger. An opposite attracts story, reverse harem romance, age gap trope story, threats, rape, billionaire romance, lust at first sight, with lies, secrets, danger, violence, hatred, action, emotions, tension, evil, rough intense sexual scenes, dirty talking, dominance, submission, BDSM, kinks, taboo, surprises, trauma, twists and turns, suspense, mystery, revelation, fear, retaliation, debasement, pain and pleasure, sexual abuse, sex and sin, debauchery, Dub-Con, Non-Con, abduction, steam, passion, survival, power play, and so much more. The chemistry between Honor and the guys are electrifying and scorching hot and burn up your kindle. Blurred Limits in these books you find four broken billionaire Asher, Wilder, Brody, and Rafferty who gets off sadistic, vile, and cruel games to get over the trauma that they have been through. Poor Honor was just trying to get away from the travesty in her life and stumbled into something just as bad as what she was trying to get away from. But she thought that at least with the millions of dollars that she would receive she could start over her life, one where her step-father would not be able to find her. Honor was hiding a big secret from the men one she could not reveal. They suspected that something was off with her and that she wasn't like their normal plaything but they still went along with games. It's so sad and gut-wrenching that Honor had to go through that she went in the games just for a safe haven from her step-father. Everything is going well and consensual with all parties and a safe word was given but once her secret was discovered everything took a turn for the worst. The guys turn unconscinable towards her or her feelings. The guys subject her to same type of trauma that they went through and believed it was a healing mechanism for them. The author will leave us on a mind-blowing cliffhanger with that twisted ending. It started as a game but things turned more sinister and dangerous and now there's no rules, no limits, no get out clause and no escape.

Dark, Twisted and Smoking Hot! Oh my heart! This is one smoking hot dark and twisted capture fantasy from start to finish. Once I bought into the premise of the book I was hooked – when Honor reports for duty for employment as a maid at an exclusive island resort she is mistaken for another. She decides to go along with the offer of allowing herself to be hunted by the four uber alpha owners, Brody, Wilder, Rafferty, and Asher. With one million dollars up for grabs it would be rude not to and Honor can use the money to ensure her future safety.
Honor’s backstory which prompts her to deceive the men added an interesting layer to the story and made me feel for her. I also loved that the men in question, all so very different, are bound together by their own dark experiences (not to mention their various depravities which come to light).
I enjoyed the various hunt scenes Honor is subjected to and how the tension, stakes and the level of kink ratchet ever higher. Honor learns just what a devious and deviant group of men she has become in involved with.
Can Honor survive each of the hunts without falling prey to their desires and leave the island richer or will she find herself captured and subject to their whims? What of her self-worth in engaging in such activity and can she keep her emotions distant from what she endures? Has she discovered a side of herself she did not know existed? Also, what if the men discover she is not who she pretends to be?
This is a compulsive read which I could not put it down – literally shooing my family away until I had finished it. I can’t wait for next instalment – without giving anything away the way the book ends is killing me – in a good way!

The number of times I told the FMC "if you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough" is pretty damn high...😅 Girlie pop shoulda made about 20 different decisions than the ones she made.
🏖️ 🏃♀️🌴🏃🏃♂️🏃🏼🏃🏻♂️🌴
Honestly this was a lot of fun for what it was. Was there substantial character development for anyone? No. This actually reads as if it should have just been the first act of a full length novel; there's lots of good exposition set up through here, and my interest is piqued about a lot of these characters' backstories, but there is no payoff in this book. Did it take a weird turn towards the end? Kinda but in a turning-up-the-volume way that I actually wasn't mad at. The tension carried through the end of the book in a way that slingshotted me into downloading the next one right away. (Remember when I read Corrupt and was mad that they just hung out in the house instead of chasing her off into the woods? This basically feels like the answer to my complaints about that.) Do I recommend it? Yeah, if you're someone who wants something dark and spicy with enough intrigue that you don't feel like you're only getting smacked over the head with repeated 🌶️ scenes.
If you don't go into this with any significant expectations, I think you'll have a good time. Fair warning that it starts medium-dark and then gets very dark towards the end.
⚠️TWs: CSA (off page), dubcon/noncon/coercion (on page), explicit sexual content, primal/chase, internalize shame/guilt surrounding sexuality, degradation/humiliation
The premise of this book caught my eye and I found it to be intriguing. It is a very different storyline than I normally read. You have 4 men who for all intense purposed are broken from events that happened in their past. And you have a women, who due to events that happened in her past, is on the run. When circumstances bring them together in a case of mistaken identity, on an island where games are played, all bets are off. It is a very interesting plot that involves an MMMMF situation that has a consent and then non-consent focus as the story line.
I wish I had known from the start that it ended in a cliff hanger and the next book does not come out for a few months. I am honest in saying that I am not a fan of reading books that end in a cliff hanger. If they do, I usually do not get them until all the books are out. 9 out of 10 times I will pass over any books that end in a cliff hanger. The story itself was better than a 3 star because I really enjoyed the story, but being as it was a cliff hanger ending I could not give it a 5 star rating. That is why I gave it a 4 star. I wish authors would be honest from the beginning and tell the reader before they buy/read a book that it ends in cliff hanger and it will be a few months before the next book is out.

I've read plenty of books and the plot of this book, has legitimately shocked me. Your lulled into what you THINK the plot is, or that it may just be a run of the mill RH book. NOPE, think again, if you're looking for an out of the box RH series to read, look no further.
Book 1 gives you enough information to get you hooked without giving too much away, plus as the saying goes "the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing..." Really comes into play here. Honor our FMC is on the run, she literally falls into this "game" that she wasn't meant to be playing. But with money and freedom on the line, she knows this is too good to pass up. It's almost mistaken identity but with a sick twist, and some minor heart wrenching moments towards the end with the cliffhanger.
I'm on edge to see what comes in book 2, will they learn of her secret, and how will they react? Especially what they did at the end of book 1. So many things come to mind, but I know this series Is going to be amazing.
Multi POV Strong FMC Twisted, Alpha Men 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Plot 4/5 - This book has a seamless mix of plot with 🔥, It's also fast pace - enough to hook you in but keeps enough secrets to keep you coming back for more!.

When i tell you there isn’t much i wouldn’t do to get a job opportunity on a remote secret sex club island so i can accidentally get mistaken for the sex toy the 4 men on the island ordered on the black web, there isn’t much i wouldnt do… This book was amazing. It had the perfect combination of CNC, which i love.
The book starts with the main female lead, honor, arriving on the island under the assumption she is starting a maid job. She is showing up 2 days early so when the staff mistakes her for the sex toy the men want to chase around the island. She quickly finds out that something is wrong but she goes along with it once she learns about how much they are willing to pay. She really needs the money to get away from her stepfather who killed her mother but she can’t prove it and now he’s after her, he’s a respected detective so no one believes her. Anyways after she realizes the mess up she keeps the secret and doesn’t tell the men the about the mess up. She gets into days 2 of the game/hunt they want to play when the men get a message from the real girl who was supposed to show up apologizing that she missed the opportunity because she got hurt. The men immediately know the girl is lying so they punish her by throwing her in the torture bunker they have on the island for the men who pay for the survival treatment experience.

BLURRED LIMITS starts where you don’t think you want to go but you quickly realize what the actual concept behind The Limit is, and from there it becomes much more intriguing. As we’re introduced to the owners, Rafferty, Wilder, Brody, and Asher, we begin to get a sense of who they are and the level of darkness underneath their imposing exteriors. Honor being on the run with almost literally nowhere else to go lends an abundance of desperation behind the choices she makes. When she meets Rafferty, Wilder, Asher, and Brody, Honor begins to realize that she may not have chosen so wisely. But only time and whether she’s clever and fast, not to mention strong, enough will tell.
This is an intensely fascinating and quite riveting tale, and I am completely enthralled. The fast-paced narrative and captivating storyline are sure to capture your interest and keep you thoroughly involved. There are dark aspects and a level of passion within the characters that add depth to the taboo elements, which only serves to drive the level of fascination. Fair warning this is an ongoing story, and the ending will quite literally leave you gasping for what’s coming next. You’ll have to decide if you’re as strong as Honor to stay the course. 😉
Not quite 1 & 1/2 stars (& only because I didn’t quit & actually read the whole dam thing hoping it would change direction & that the guys would fall for her) I felt like there were way too many plot holes, editing mistakes -from missing words to wrong words, to misspellings, etc… I also think that there needs to be another trigger warning for rape. I don’t care if the woman gets “wet” from the foreplay, but clearly she did not want anal sex at the end of the book that the guys used to “punish” her. I personally wouldn’t have done it from the beginning if I had been in her shoes, because it ended up making her feel like a prostitute & the guys into nothing but assholes that were no better than the stepfather she ran from, & the pastor the guys wanted to destroy for whatever he did to them. I would want as far away from those guys as possible. I hate the nasty feeling left from reading this, there’s not enough soap in the house to wash away that slimy grossness! The BDSM trope has never been my thing, I don’t even know why I downloaded this from the blurb! Needless to say, I won’t be continuing with the series & will delete this from my Kindle library!
At my age (61), life is way too short & my time is too important to force myself to read a book I'm not enjoying, especially when there are so many other books out there waiting to be read.
I was not ready. You won’t be ready. I was really not read. This is a reverse harem spicy asf short book that ends in a cliffhanger to the second book. Honor isn’t who they thought she was, she lied to get away from her stepfather and lied to Asher, Wilder, Brody, and Rafferty. She was supposed to be a maid for the island resort but she took another women’s spot in the games. Honor has these fantasies about somone coming into her room and doing the dirty with her while they hold her down. Let me say she is a Virgin female. They send her on three hunts I think but as soon as Asher gets a message from the women who was supposed to be in Honors place he tells the others and they stir into her room and she finally admits to the truth. All the games have been restarted with no safe word or no contracts now, she is there’s now. After they take her again… Asher in her Virgin bum whole Wilder ears her out from underneath both of them. They take her to the bunker because the bedroom she was saying in is too good for her now that she lied to them all😳🫣. Well I’m going to read the next book bye❤️🤭🍆🌶️
I like the premise and I had high hopes since I saw it recommended as being similar to Prey Island by Sorcha Black. But while it was an okay read, it failed to deliver on its promise.
This book reads like bdsm written by a vanilla. During the story the author hypes up how depraved and sick the sexual tentencies of these men are and how many extreme things the MMCs are going to do to the FMC. But apart from the cnc concept it's just some regular bdsm. It's not even that extreme. Just things like a mild spanking and anal. That doesn't mean it's not fun to read, but my expectations were built up a lot higher during the first half
I think I would have the book more if there hadn't been so much build up that didn't deliver.
One other thing, this book has the same attitude towards bdsm that 50 Shades of Grey did: that people who enjoy bdsm are like that (twisted is the word used her) because of past trauma. It's just fiction so it's not a huge deal, but this attitude does annoy me.
This was such a good read, from the overall plot to the fire smut. My one complaint about this one is the ending (spoilers coming up):
I’m not entirely sure why the four guys are mad at her, when it was their fault they mistook her for someone else. On top of that, she tried to her explain herself, and told them the majority of the story, yet it was still her fault for not saying anything and “only being in it for the money”. Like, of course she was only in it for the money, she said the before they even started, so they fact that that’s like a shocker to them makes me kinda laugh cause I’m not entirely sure what they were expecting otherwise. With this, if anyone was given the opportunity to win up to one million dollars, 9 out of 10 people would probably say yes, no matter if you are in a dire situation or not. All in all, I guess I don’t fully understand their extreme anger towards her and I’m assuming it will all be resolved and fixed in the next book (which I am excited to read).

Tbh this surprised me, how much I enjoyed reading it. It took a while to get to because it sounded so dark (it is) but I expected basically smut and nothing else. There is a lot of that, don't get me wrong but there is an actual plot and actual real world tension.
The characters are interesting. You don't get much of a look at them because of the length of it, but you get enough to see there is depth to them. The men are all, at this point, unpleasant and not terribly sympathetic, however you do have the angle of them pursuing revenge that makes them a bit more sympathetic.
Honor worries me. This book really tests the limits, which is the point of it. But it tests the limits of what I am comfortable with. I am going to read on though, because I am genuinely interested in the characters beyond the sex. Which for a book so short is impressive.
However, this tests my limits quite a bit and I do love a dark romance, so I wouldn't go near it if that doesn't sound appealing. These are the kind of book boyfriends who if you found yourself in a room with them in real life you would run screaming in terror calling the police!
You think you’re ready because you know the title of the book. You think you’re ready because you read the blurb. You think you’re ready because you read the warning from the authors. You are not ready, I wasn’t ready, nobody would be ready.
Total mind game, on top of - oh my god, did that just happen! 😳 Filled with, well then 🥵🥵
Closely followed by… Are you kidding me book 2 isn’t out yet??!!
I don’t like to be the worm of doom. I don’t like to be the reader that tells authors they need to release their books on a certain timeline… That being said, I really need book 2 right now. Like today. This very second.
