From an Instagram health, fitness, and food influencer with over half a million followers, Rachael's Good Eats is a beautiful, accessible four-color cookbook with over 100 recipes in every category from breakfasts, soups and hearty salads, to cozy comfort mains and all kinds of desserts!
Rachael DeVaux’s Good Eats makes cooking meals and daily treats enjoyable–and keeps the prep and kitchen clean-up easy as can be. Many dishes are one-pan, and almost all are expandable from “serves you and your roommate” to a crowd.
Most of Rachael’s recipes are vegetable-forward and emphasize food as fuel, but you’ll find that most are paleo-style and use an array of wholesome ingredients for flavor and to promote satiety. They are gluten-free, dairy-free (for the most part) and refined sugar-free. And her recipes are not only easy, but truly Paleo Apple Crisp Pistachio-Crusted Fish Tacos Banana Chai Waffles With Whipped Honey Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet
Rachael’s specialty is making over childhood favorites into healthy and better-for-you “Nutter Butters” “Nutella” spread “Twix” bars
These recipes take ingredients you already like–or already order out for–and boost them with flavor to be so good they get into regular rotation!
This cookbook is awesome! Normally, when I get a cookbook, I’m happy to discover a handful of good recipes. This one is loaded. And they are gluten free, dairy free, and refined sugar free. From the orange chicken to the chicken pot pie, to the nutter butters to the Thai crunch peanut chicken salad, etc. There are starters, breakfast, smoothies, soups, salads, main dishes, veggie side dishes, desserts. So much to choose from! Nothing is overwhelming to prepare, and every recipe has a finished picture. Yum!
this is a nice cookbook for someone wanting to cut out refined sugar, dairy, ect... pretty much wanting to eat better. I am not that person, lol. The recipes are laid out nice and easy however I do not have any of these "healthy" items in my pantry. I think I will follow the recipes but just use regular flour, sugar, ect. (I don't even have protien powder).
Some of my favourites are: Greek Honeymoon Salad Sheet-Pan Sesame Salmon Rice Bowls Juicy Turkey Burgers
I love a cookbook with lots of pictures. It helps to see what the creation is supposed to look like. These recipes are packed full of flavour and easy to make. Highly recommend!
I received this as a giveaway winner, but now that I have received and read I would buy it ! Recipes ate straightforward and sound delicious, my family would enjoy any of these dishes. Excited to start cooking
I love to eat healthy but following complicated recipes with a long list of ingredients it’s not my thing. This book is perfect for me, not only the recipes are easy, they are yummy!
This is a lovely book, but not for me. Just a little too healthy, everything is a little too coconutty or tahini-y for me. I love that every recipe has its own color picture of the completed dish. But they're simply not anything I can ever see myself shopping for, or cooking.
Unfortunately for me there was nothing new or inspiring in this cookbook. I found the recipes very basic and there are more flavourful alternatives out there.
