Gosh! I didn't expect such pure content! I love everything about this series so I'll give it 5 out of 5 stars! The author really deserved it. And also because I don't have any issues with this volume. The author is very considerate of the characters and I love her for that!
Although it is too short for me and a little fast-paced, the author weaved the story very well and I can see why it turned out like that. I like how it ended too. The focus of the story did not only revolve around romance but also family ties, and acceptance (and disownment, an issue that really happens in reality) of the LGBTQA community.
Aside from that, I like the author's take on sexy scenes (which are not sexy at all). Can any other yaoi be like this one? I will seriously read a bunch if they're all so innocent and decent like this one! No more toxic yaois, please. But yea, who am I kidding? Yaoi is all about physical love, right. So, I guess it will not happen. But at least tone it down a little, if you know what I mean. You can write steamy scenes without making it toxic.
This series is more aligned to shounen-ai category.
at first, it is funny, but then it quickly becomes sweet, heartbreaking, and healing. loved it. i wish we'd get more, but i'll accept this short and beautiful story.
Do you ever read something so cute that you just sob afterwards??
This started out as something I thought was going to be more comedic than it actually turned out to be. A guy thinks his mom is a sugar mama and he approaches her sugar baby to get answers and from there it becomes this emotional, sweet and wholesome story. It touches on coming out, family, acceptance, and facing things head on. The couple is so cute and sweet. I just really really loved this.
Although it starts with a weird hook and gimmick (Mama-katsu? Really?), the story's focus is more on the realistic character drama between the two leads. Which end up being wholesome and human as details about both characters are gradually revealed. Even the gimmick that brought them together is later tied into homosexuality and family acceptance from both extremes, which both protagonists experience.
Definitely an emphasis on the love part, with the sex being consensual and romantic. Nice to discover this one.
«Why doesn’t she want me?» «Then I’ll take you in.»
Un capolavoro, la lettura più bella di quest’anno! Una storia dolcissima e piena di amore, gioia e tristezza. Tematiche importanti trattate delicatamente e molto bene, seppur in poche pagine. I disegni sono bellissimi e tutti i personaggi sono meravigliosi. Ho pianto tantissimo, è diventato uno dei miei preferiti. Leggetelo, ne vale la pena!!
I thought that was very cute. Sweet stuff. Did I expect it to get graphic? Nope. Not one bit. The tiktok that recommended this didn’t say it’s be graphic lmao. But it’s not that bad. I guess spoilers, they fuck? Any ways, I like the dialogue it shows between mother son. Got some Tom-foolery happening. Yeah I mean heart warming and all that.

4.9 This was so freaking cute! I was so sad about Keigo's family situation, with the disownment and all, but I was so glad he could find love and a new family someplace else. Blood connection not always means there is gonna be love and acceptance.
