I enjoy this expansion of the Cyberpunk 2077's universe. I found BDs to be one of the most interesting aspects of the lore that deserved more attention. It was mentioned in Cyberpunk Edgerunners as well and I think this idea has so much more that it could offer. I liked the art and colors of this comic too.

As I sat down to read another Cyberpunk 2077 fiction from Dark Horse, I had not known this was not just a comic to supplement the CD Projekt Red's controversial albeit good videogame. Being a fan of CDPR games, I was someone who'd preordered Cyberpunk 2077 and was sorely disappointed that it was broken at launch. I wait for a year for them to fix it and what I was thrown into was a rich world with a great story, immersive gameplay, and characters. It was quite short, comparatively, so I double-dipped and got a copy for my console and started playing again. And then Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners happened (insert mindblown emoji here) and that's when I decided to start reading Dark Horse's comics. I started off with 'Big City Dreams' which was ok but had that essential Cyberpunk factor to it and Blackout could very well be the better one of the bunch. Absolutely loved the way, the art was able to capture the Cyberpunk world with the colors and vibes and add to that a story that is a worthy addition to the Cyberpunk 2077 lore. I also started listening to the OST while reading this and it did wonders for me. Well onto the next, Trauma Team!

Great read!

The artwork neatly fits with the technological dystopian world of Cyberpunk 2077. The story is punchy, a fun read. Highly recommend.
