nice

Lydia Olson wrote this book very well. From the fire that took Caroline’s family from her to finding the love of her life. Alex only wanted to take care of his ranch and brother, yet he got a bride thrown into the mix. Alex only married her to take have one of his loans paid off. Never knowing how much more it was going to cost. His heart. This was a nice and enjoyable reed. You will enjoy it.

From ashes to blooms

This is a very great read. Caroline is devastated when a fire consumers her home. Her uncle is not used to anyone in his home. Alex is a young man with a lot on his shoulders. There is never a dull moment in this book. Emotions fly, bad and good. You will not put it down. Great read from start to finish. Recommend highly.

once again...A book I couldn't put down!

A lovely story about people that are hurt in the deepest way...finding each other. Caroline is spoiled and Alex full of pride. But those weaknesses can become strengths when mixed with love and desperation. Great story.

Western historical romance

I enjoyed the story. A couple parts did not feel overly realistic to me. Edison was horrible. Don't see that hw was a Christian man at all.

A Story Of Resurrection

Both main characters in this story had lost their way and inspiration. Through trials, tribulations and compromise they were both revived!

I have been reading books by Lydia Olson for quite some time, but her book entitled A LOVING BRIDE TO PAY HIS DEBT is my favorite.
It is rich in character development. It also has multiple storylines which intertwine but resolve into a happy ending.
Alexander is a farmer trying to save his ranch from the massive debt that his father accumulated before he died. approached by one of his creditors who offers a deal that he can’t resist. All he must do is marry the man’s niece and his debt is gone.
Caroline, a young woman privilege, lost her parents and sister in a house fire that destroyed everything. She was sent to live with her uncle carrying a book she had hidden in her petticoat. Her cruel uncle had no idea how to deal with a grieving teenager until he concocts the deal with Alexander.

After they were married, Alexander soon learns that Carol has never worked a day in her life. She can’t even cook! All Alex sees is her interest in books is a magnet to his brother, Ben who he is trying to send to college.

I cannot recommend this book strongly enough. It is a pleasant read that goes swiftly. You will not regret it.
