Sometimes the ukes annoyed me or were too submissive, but in the end the stories weren't so bad.

A cute yaoi quick read. Nothing groundbreaking but pretty boys and some nice sex scenes.

Not much to see here

I honestly don't know if I want to read another volume of this or not. It's fairly short, first of all, and the story is pretty thin - CEO of upper echelon design firm hires a hot Boy Friday for errands and to learn the ropes; said Boy gets a crack at a big design deal while the Boss gets a crack at Boy’s, err, crack.

It's old school manga art complete with bishonen uke - soo bishonen that the mostly PG scenes of intimacy look disturbingly like an adult taking advantage of a pre-pubescent - and, then, of course, studly seme. The art is so old school that necks and chins don't always hold thier place spatially: chins are supposed to be in front of the throat, thank you, not vice versa.

The artist refers to being embarrassed by the artwork and wanting to change it before this re-issue came out. So if I do get another volume, it will probably be to see, out of professional interest, how the artist developed over time. It won't be for the story - the setting and characters have potential but, really, story wise?  There's  nothing to see here, folks.

Romantismo

Not the best, but not bad either. The art and composition had a early work feel to them. The "Boss grooming the young subordinate in the business and the bed" trope is old. But overall, still enjoyable.

Finally got around to reading the series. It's older but still checked out. It was about a collection of couples, a lot more stories about Leon than I care to read but overall entertaining.

Why did it have to be so short?!

Main story is about Haruka Fujinami getting a job at Yebisu Graphics Co. There his lack of confidence and shy nature attracts the boss of the company, Takashi Daijou. But will Haruka accept his boss's obvious feelings of love for him?

The second story in this volume is about Akira Sasao and his struggle to forget his crush towards his childhood friend, Ryo Watanuki. Akira and Ryo both work for the Yebisu Graphics Co. And although Akira lives with Kei, a model looking for work, he takes Kei's advances as mere playful teasing. Will Akira be able to forget Ryo and finally see that the person who may be able to return his feelings is right beside him? Oh, if only this story would've been as long as the first!

At first, to me, seeing the guys in suits in the cover, I thought it was gonna be boring, but it turned out quite the contrary! I so wanted to get stuck in a good yaoi series again and I found it! The author hints of other couples in the company which I suspect will be highlighted among her other 5 upcoming volumes.

The artwork is beautiful, good attention to detail and the sex scenes are satisfying, not as graphic as Shioko Kano's artwork, but mildly graphic.

This volume also contains a 4 page WRITTEN short story from a couple from the Yebisu Graphics Co.

Yebisu Celebrities, Volume 1 is all about professional graphic designers. i admit i watch the anime first and then read the manga. Overall, i like manga more, the characters in manga version seem to look more nicely envisioned. its enjoyable to a degree, but it's still nothing more than one amongst many romantic comedies in manga.

Poor and broke Fujinami is fresh out of school and needs a job bad. Luckily, he lands a position at the famous design firm Yebisu Graphics. They cater to only the top clients, and their staff is full of superstar designers, all good-looking young men. To have a position there is an absolute dream. The story is initially about him learning the ropes at the company and living up to their elite reputation, but of course, he also catches the eye of the head of the company, Daijou.
