Draco runs into an extremely drunk Hermione and decides to stick around for the show.
Notes: I usually default to writing a simp Draco, so I wanted to flex my toxic Draco muscles. This is based on the song Me vs. Maradona vs. Elvis by Brand New. There are some direct line pulls from the lyrics, so writing credit for those goes to Jesse Lacey.
I’ve been meaning to read morriganmercy for awhile and when I saw there was fics of hers on Goodreads, I thought now was the perfect time to read her. I was planning on reading her Sugar Bowl series, but then the Malicious Intent title caught my eye. Since I love me a little toxic but not super toxic Draco, I wanted it to be my first fic from her and I’m so glad that I went with it because I absolutely loved it! Draco is a bit of a turd with all his diabolical thoughts about his plans for Hermione, but I do love a diabolical mind, so it didn’t bother me that much and he definitely got caught up in everything himself there near the end and I think maybe his attitude changed *wink wink.* I loved watching how it all went down and listening to “Injection” and like the first 2:20 seconds of “Bare Island” from the soundtrack of Mission Impossible 2really set the mood too if you’re interested. Also I just want to say that I don’t like Tom Cruise, the whole Scientology stuff is a major turn off and I usually avoid things with him, but I can’t help that this fricking score is amazing, okay? Also he didn’t personally do the score, so it’s fine and am I just saying that to make myself feel better while also being deeply ashamed? Probably yes and most definitely yes, but if you take anything away from this unhinged review, it should be that Malicious Intent rules and you should read it!
My rating system 1☆ DNF / would never read again 2☆ managed to read but forgettable 3☆ worth reading 4☆ liked it, would read again 5☆ 100% would recommend
Lord have mercy on my soul. I am not a smut girl but this was written just for me I can tell. 🥵🙌🏼❤️😍 If I were to be in any one shot this is exactly what I would want to be in.
He finds a very drunk Hermione and somehow convinces himself that he wants to ruin her ('I'm gonna stay to watch her because she's drunk', 'only thing worse than hangover is crushing regret of sleeping with a Death Eater', 'more humiliating than being used by a Death Eater is enjoying it', 'only thing better than enjoying it is begging for it'). Then he figures out he'd like to keep her around.
