8 books9 followersAndre Jones (aka A.J Gordon and A.A Jones) was born in Wollongong, NSW Australia, and currently resides in southern France with his very understanding Scottish wife and Gordon, our Jack Russell Terrier.
As a child, he devoured the works of Enid Blyton, Tolkien, McCaffrey, Asimov, Heinlein, and Bradbury just to name a few. As a young adult, he got lost in the many and varied roleplaying games, including MERP, GURPS, Harn, Skyrealms of Jorune, good old D&D (and its many variants), and Traveller … and spent far too much time on video games like Skyrim.
He wore many hats including; Security Officer, Police Officer, Park Ranger, and finally as a Petty Officer in the Royal Australian Navy for 18 years (sadly, his role-playing stopped there for too long).
As a Navy Veteran, his retirement has provided the opportunity to write, roleplay, draw, and potter to his heart’s content.
Currently, 2024, the Seven Portals series (Epic Fantasy) is complete and I am now halfway through on a new Urban Fantasy (Death Wave Chronicles).
