Elizabeth O’Roark lives in Washington, DC with her 3 children. After many years spent writing scintillating brochures about amniocentesis and heart surgery, she is thrilled to have found a job that allows her to just make s*** up.
You can get access to this novella once you finish The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea on kindle, if you scroll to the end of the book you will get a link to download it for free.
This is the most adorable novella about their wedding day in Maui and it was worth a read if you loved the couple. You also get some insight on Ben, the main character for The Devil You Know that is coming out in June! 💖
I loved Devil and the Deep Blue Sea but this novella was just ok. It was missing the banter from Drew and Josh. It was fun seeing the infamous wedding (which is referenced in the next book) but I thought the whole novella was just ok. Still love Drew and Josh!
נובלה קצרה שהיא ההמשך של הספר השני, "The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea" ("השטן והים הכחול העמוק"), ומוקדשת לחתונה של ג'וש ודרו. בשבוע החתונה כל מה שיכול להשתבש משתבש, והם חוששים שהצד השני יקבל רגליים קרות. חמוד מאוד.
Beautiful ending of this story 🥹 I'm so glad it's the last thing I read from this series. I got to meet almost everyone in one place for the last time 🤗
Ben walking Drew to the altar, because they both lost their father's young moved me so much 😭 my poor babies
We didn't see the proposal 😭😫 But this is the disastrous journey to Josh and Drew's wedding, everything that can go wrong.....did but it helped them to realise they didn't care about the extras just finally getting married forever
O casamento da Drew e do Josh tinha que ter as suas peripécias únicas...adorei ver este momento tão especial para eles ❤️ foi diferente, mas foram eles na sua essência e isso é lindo.
Loved to see more Josh and Drew but it felt like they barely interacted in this short novella. I understand why they are kind of away from each other but I would’ve loved to see more scenes of them together.
Simply lovely, so nice to revisit Drew and Josh, and has spurred me on to read Tali and Hayes’s book, I really like what I’ve read from Elizabeth O’Roark so far.
This mini chapter book was like a lesson in itself as to what is important in life is the person you are sharing your life with, rather than all the secondaries that come with it.
When life gives you lemon ,you make a beautiful lemonade on ice.. ..or a lemon based cocktail if you're in Hawaii. ⛱️ 💕
This follows Josh and Drew going back to Maui where they fell in love , to get married...but the circumstances that hindered her day with paps, angry ex sabotaging, natural disaster , no show wedding dress, preoponing to Friday the 13th! and a great heist to make them both realise that the most important thing is being together....
This was what vows say for better or for worse in literal sense 😂 Ngl.... this short story was much more entertaining than the 2nd half of last book.
ashfjdhf I loved this. seeing drew and josh on the verge of getting married was absolutely so cute. i will never tire of seeing josh being protective over drew, it's like a sweet dessert on the tongue. the way she said he would fight everyone who disrespect her????? lord have mercy on me
i really love how elizabeth kept adding this element of fate that is so distinctive of drew and how she demystified weddings and how everything should be perfect
all these problems that occured where their to match the messy road they went on to end up together and show them that whatever happened, they wanted more than anything to become husband and wife, it was so freaking cute i loved it
I get that even bonus chapters need a plot or something to keep ppl entertained but it was the climax of ‘the devil and the deep blue sea’ aaaaaalll over againnn I wouldve much preferred something happening to help drew deal with her anxiety orr josh pulling some last minute miracle that is attuned to herrr personally Also btw some lines by him saying ‘i will marry her’ were weird bro
Also he set out in the morning on a 3 hour car journey, turned right back around and walked through a downpour for hours just to get back and immediately get it on im sorry so lame
For a minute there, i didn't really recognised the characters i read about just before ... Drew's mom being an example ... I also found the many obstacles felt a bit cruel, i understand what the author wanted to show but yet i found it was too much. Overall it felt not necessary but little parts were good, Drew and Josh are made for each other.
I loved it! It was so wholesome to read this right after finishing the book. I loved how different and unique and not perfect their wedding was. Also I really liked to see Six involved in it in a posible way. I’m so happy for Drew and Josh. Now I need some sleep and my eyes some long rest
