L’indiscrétion idéale

Rate this book
A wealthy husband is found murdered in the wake of his 50th birthday bash, a lavish affair that included a dozen couples, a private jet and a debaucherous night. Jessie is in over her head as she enters the world of ultra-wealth and peels back the sordid relationships between couples and friends. So many people, it seemed, wanted their host dead.

But the truth, Jessie finds, is far more complex—and far more sinister.

A fast-paced psychological suspense thriller with unforgettable characters and heart-pounding suspense, THE JESSIE HUNT series is a riveting new series that will leave you turning pages late into the night.

I liked the story this time, but I am so sad that Debbie Soulter is the narrator for the remainder of the audio series. I can’t stand her voice changes! Audio book narrators can make or break a book. She is awful to listen to.

This one felt more like a filler, as a bridge between to two other stories.

The stories are getting kind of redundant ATP.. I took a break and came back just to check on Hannah .. the crimes aren’t really interesting anymore because the plot continues to be so repetitive!!

Wow Blake Pierce Flipped the Script...#18 And Still Good

This is another good suspenseful thriller. First we have Jessie being assigned a new case, the only problem for Jessie is that Ryan will not be her partner because he fell off a ladder and hurt himself. Jessie is a Profiler for the LAPD so she needs a partner from the HSS unit Ryan and her work together in. But when she gets to LAPD and Captain Decker's office, Susannah Valentine is sitting in his office. Jessie does not care that much for her because she thinks she flirts with her fiance Ryan in front of everyone in the unit. Besides Detective Valentine flirting with Ryan, she's gorgeous. So this book 18 seems to have three scenarios going on at one time. We have the high profile case that happened on an airplane ✈️🛫, a rich record ⏺️ producer's jet. Then there's Hannah and the fantasies she has been having since she shot the man who had been trying to kill Jessie, Ryan and her. Then there's Andy Robinson and her crazy thoughts and what she's trying to orchestrate while being locked 🔒🔐 up. So we have a fast paced story and if course it's a Blake Pierce Suspense😯🤔 Thriller. Always a good read. I 💕 Jessie Hunt Books 📚📖.

Another good story in the series. When everything seems to be running smoothly, Jessie has to face a case without many technical resources to catch the culprit, and, what is worse, she is paired with the new detective she believes is trying to flirt with Ryan, her fiancee. Her sister Hannah is also in trouble, she is again, barely speaking to her, and is not going to the therapy as promised. Finding the killer was not an easy task, and it weighs physically on Jessie, but there are worse things to come, and to learn what they are you should download this book, and I'm sure you'll not regret it.
As a member of the author's ARC team, I downloaded a free copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.

"It's time to go to work."

Wow!!!

Jessie had her hands (and life) full this time! 😳😬

(As if THIS was any different!) 😉

And yet! ...

She faced dilemmas and set backs she has not had to face before!

As had the regular cast and crew!

I truly appreciate how Blake Pierce keeps each novel new and unique, and finds so many ways outside the box to test, try, and stretch Jessie personally, emotionally, professionally, and mentally.

I have read other authors, one in particular, that after a while, all their books were copy/paste of the one before, with only names changing, and it became disappointing and frustrating.

No worries. I KNOW the next book of Jessie Hunt will be completely different!

Here comes Book #19

A wealthy man celebrating his 50th birthday in lavish style with friends and family is discovered dead on a private jet. Jessie Hunt is called in to investigate the crime. During the investigation she finds out that the victim was a womanizer and had been linked to several sexual abuse cases which makes the suspect list hard to narrow down. Friends and family also have grudges against him which really makes this case complex. Also Jessie as to deal with her sister and her secret obsession of getting into trouble and the locked up crazy woman still plotting to destroy Jessie. Her plate is always full but she manages to solve the crime.

Jessie Hunt has to investigate the murder of a wealthy record producer that happened on a private jet. The guests of the man are all returning from his birthday party, so it seems the murderer is one of the passengers. Also, Jessie's sister finally comes clean with her therapist and Jessie has to deal with that. Very interesting read that will keep you guessing!

Again, poor editing!

I love the series, but every single book has such bad editing. So many missing words, wrong word tenses, and even wrong characters names used. I have seen other reviews mention the same issues, you'd think they would have rewrites an fixed it by now! I picked up on this beginning in the second book!

Always good. High society death and deception. Back story with Jessie’s sister Hannah and a great relationship between Jessie and Ryan. Jessie partners up with a new partner that she doesn’t particularly like but it turns out okay. Leading us on with something about to happen involving the convict Andy.

loved the book

I love this series. This one did not disappoint. I enjoyed the new detective and can’t wait to see where that goes. Hannah is interesting…wow. It was a quick read and I am looking forward to the one.

I'm tired of Hannah. Let her be a murderous sociopath. I don't care. I hope she enjoys her incarceration and grooming with Andy. Or is that too obvious?
Would like more Valentine. Is she good or bad?
This edition seemed like nothing to me. An outline, at best.

This was good, but it wasn’t spectacular. The further into the series, the shorter the books are so they feel more like fillers or novellas than a full story. Either way, the cases are still interesting.

Another murder solved by Jessie Hunt. I loved The Perfect Indiscretion but the book was too short. I was ready for more when the book ended. Patiently waiting for the next Jessie Hunt adventure.
