We are off to see the wizard! And that wizard consists of three psychos that like to kidnap and screw with your mind so hard you have a hard time believing real from illusion.
Now opening up we have our FMC Shayne. Her whole personality is a mood. An on point on fleek mood. She’s scared but that doesn’t stop the smartace comments that falls from her mouth and the fire that rages in her soul. She’s the definition of life.
Next up, we have our psychos. Roman, Marcus, and…… Levi 🤤.
So Roman is this solid force of brutal yet controlled alpha that has me absolutely in the yes daddy mind set.
Marcus, our delectable unhinged pin out the grenade. This guy is a take no 💩 don’t serve no 💩 or he’ll serve you 💩 in the form of your own teeth down your throat.
Now Levi. Hot tempered drummer….yes I said drummer 🥁. Coming in hot with the lickable tattooed body and “packing” good time.
This book took dark romance and said hold my beer. I can’t even put into words the thrill that left my soul from reading this masterpiece.
It’s definitely ranked in my top 10 reads of this year!
Just when I thought my unlocked kink factor couldn’t go father, this author whispered watch this.

*7 minutes later* Cutting the rating down to 2.5 stars because I read a couple of spoiler reviews for the next books and have decided not to continue with the series. Apparently, Roman's supposedly "dead" love of his life is still alive, pregnant and stuck in the brothers' father's house. She gives birth to Roman's son and then dies. Sorry, but the only time I dig kids is in single parent romances. Not this typa shit. I have this idea in my head that the FMC and MMCs are only supposed to love and have babies with each other. This is honestly the first book I've come across where I'm so bothered by this shit. For sure not gonna continue. Not worth it either imo🤷🏻♀️
Don't get me wrong...this book was good. Really good, in fact. The only reason I cut a star is because I don't like it when one or more members in the RH have been in love/loved another woman before the FMC. Don't ask me why. My heart and mind like to believe that the FMC is the MMCs first and only true love. HOWEVER, I am OKAY when the FMC in a book has been in love before. God, I'm such a hypocrite for that but SUE ME. The ending was pretty good btw and so was the storyline. The h was strong and while I wasn't a huge fan of the Hs, I found myself kinda sorta liking them towards the end. Cliffys not too bad either. Maybe I might even give this book a higher rating if I decide to reread it in the future. Who knows? Cuz this biatch Nikki is pretty fucking unpredictable and indecisive lmao. Anyways, onto book 2 we goooooooo

Absolutely awful. Weak heroine who was incredibly annoying and whiny and the men were rapists. They made her strip in front of people twice and were absolutely disgusting.
I love dark romance stories but this was just vile.
If you like rape, abuse and general humiliation you will love this book :|
The writing was awful as well, overuse of phrases and just generally shit.

This is only my second Sheridan series, and right off the bat, first book is more sexual with kink than the last series. Which I am AALLLLL for. And while her last series had darker elements with the whole secret society themes, this is way more dark. Which I am also ALLLL for!
Shayne has a pretty terrible life and on the night she gets an eviction notice from her landlord, she also gets kidnapped. By the three sons of the mafia family in her area... Roman, Levi and Marcus.
The guys are brutal with her, in the beginning they play tricks and games with her, scare her for fun and treat her like a dog/slave. But when they tell her about their dad and how they themselves are treated and are prisoners in their own way, she sees them differently and understands more. And when she meets their dad, sees how he is for herself, she knows she has to help in some way to end his rule, so the brothers can take over.
I really like that you can see moments of Shayne getting a bit crazy herself in this book, and the strong MFC she is going to become. I also really like the direction I see the spice going. This definitely had a handful of moments where I was sweating.
I will admit a couple spots in the beginning where a bit predictable and over-done for me personally, but nothing to make me not want to read it. Just small author choices, that I wish had been different. But other then that I really loved this and am so excited to see what happens next!
OH! This does end on one hell of a cliffhanger, so if you don't like them wait for the series to be over!

This was a fun, dark, why-choose romance about (shocker) a girl getting kidnapped by three very hot, very toxic, brothers. While this book was fun, there was nothing that really stood out for me. I couldn't connect with any of the characters. I wish we got more between them hating her and sleeping with her, and the character development for any of them was lacking.
I think for a 430 page book, it was throwing in too much. Introducing a main character and three love interests, dealing with her situation of being kidnapped by them, her father, the boys' father, Ariana, the inner workings of their business, and overthrowing their father is a lot to cover which replaced the chance of nicely developing the main characters. On top of that, there was the side story of their mother and Flick so there was a lot going on.
I still enjoyed this book and am going right to the next one. As this is a four book series, I'm hoping there is time to develop the characters more and to slow it down a bit so it is not so overwhelming with side plots.
Also check trigger warning as there is a lot covered in this book including dubious consent and SA that is quickly brushed over.

I love this series already this was a great start for sure. However, Shayne got on my nerves. She knows her terror and screams get them off and she continues to do it after saying she won’t anymore. She also can’t let things go. The character is just really immature to me and she’s the reason it got 4 ⭐️s instead of 5.
But the men 🥵🦋. Marcus is definitely my favorite. He may be a little psycho but considering his upbringing I don’t blame him. I’m excited to continue the story and hopefully Shayne will get better qualities and grow up a little.

Read this story already, literally the exact same storyline only less brutal and more love for the female mc who was stronger than this one. The other book was better, because she actually stood up for herself and the men stood up for her instead of allowing other men (like their father) make her strip so they can see her and sexualize her. It genuinely makes no sense how they’re possessive of her against eachother but just let everyone else touch her and see her naked.
Truly shocked at how weak this female mc is compared to the last book I read by this author. If it’s a dark romance especially with this much abuse the female character needs to be a warrior, she needs to be strong. Needs to have a backbone other than the occasional snappy comment lol.
This isn’t a dark romance there was never any romance, this was definitely just rape with the author claiming the rape turned the female mc on, which again makes no sense based on her crappy personality. She was treated like a sex slave by the men who allegedly cared about her (it was claimed they did over and over by themselves and other characters…. yet never actually shown, as they all just treated her like trash).
I’ve read a WHOLEEEE lot of dark romance and you know what I’m perfectly ok with dubious consent if it seems like the male character gives a shit about her aside from just owning her and this was not the case in this book.
There are a few funny parts but this author is good at writing funny dirty things. But in general this book was too wordy and had too much internal monologue.
It ends on a cliff hanger and it’s not worth having to read the next book to see what happens. So, she can just die in my version 🤷🏻♀️

Ok, so, I have been waiting for this book since it was announced and it was so worth the wait. Let me tell you, it went dark, but it's oh so good!
Shayne, the fmc, is fiesty. I absolutely love her. And the guys - Roman, Marcus, and Levi - are, well, psychos. I am LIVING for their brand of crazy. They're dark, broody, broken alphaholes, you know, everything I love in a book boyfriend. With them being a bit unhinged at times, you never know when someone might end up dead around them...
PSYCHOS is dark, it's bloody, it's twisted and it is oh so 🥵🥵🥵. The steam in this book is 🔥🔥🔥. Along with all this, there is the bit of comedy and one liners that we love from Sheridan books.
Since this is book one, it ends on a cliffhanger. I knew it was coming, as I got towards the end, I was starting to get scared about what would happen... I have lots of questions. Like, WTF WAS THAT ENDING, SHERIDAN!?! HUH?!? 🤣🤣

This was dark and twisted, and the title couldn’t be more fitting! 😅
The story centers on three psychotic brothers and a young woman who crosses their path. It's packed with violence, lust, and suspense.

HOLY CRAP you are not ready for the EPICNESS that is Psycho’s Depraved Sinners #1 !!! I’m still speechless after reading this book that ending I’m still fuming over I don’t even know what to say other than READ THIS ! This author is a favorite of mine and she has just recently started writing RH romances and I’m not that huge of a fan of them but I must say I think this one is my favorite by far that I’ve read I loved everything about it the characters the plot the twists and turns so many secrets and our lead female character Shayne she is everything I love about a strong willed character she’s feisty she’s sassy and she takes no shit she keeps on going she just doesn’t give up and the boys these brothers are super hot and a lot of crazy they are quite simply psychos I love when they leave their castle they fuck shit up this story was so good it had humor it was dark and gritty and emotional and super hot and that ending ARGHHH !!! What am I supposed to do with myself till the next book? This was quite simply a masterpiece and I’ll be anxiously awaiting for book two !

Descubrí que ya no estoy para leer estas cosas, me irritan demasiado y me sacan la fe en el mundo (sé que es ficción, pero aún así no me agrada).

I really really tried because I have seen this recommended a lot, but this was just not for me. I found myself speed reading some parts just to get to the core. In the end I just couldn't get myself to like any of the characters.

An intriguing dark mafia reverse-harem with an engaging unique storyline at its centre. Here Shayne finds herself the property of three psychotic morally skewed individuals The DeAngelis Brothers. Used as collateral by her father to pay off his debts to their mafia father she is now in over her head and these men's newest plaything potentially living on borrowed time.
Locked up in their gothic creepy mansion these boys take great delight in stalking and terrifying her it’s all just one big game to them and her fear feeds their dark souls. Escape is not really a viable option either and as she sinks deeper into their dark violent world with all of its many extremes the more she realises she may just be out of her depth. But things are not quite what they seem and Roman Levi and Marcus are also being managed and contained and used as a weapon by their criminal father who has a track record of breaking anything they grow too attached to.
Now with rebellion on the cards and the boys wanting to keep Shayne safe and far away from their father's reach protection is a must. But can they keep Shayne alive when by sheer association with them and their growing care she now has a target firmly painted on her back?
This has some excellent chemistry and initially some very creepy vibes. Shayne is a strong individual though-out and though terrified for her own fate she manages to conquer and overcome her panic balancing herself and showing true courage in the face of all of her despair, fundamentally she’s already somewhat broken but she still manages to rise above each new challenge thrown her way.
These men are definitely psychotic and take great delight in the blood death and mayhem they leave in their wake. It’s obvious that Marcus though is falling hard for Shayne and Levi is not far behind him but as for Roman he’s a tough cookie and determined to keep his distance.
This one is single POV Shayne’s and though it worked well I do wish I had also had more of an insight into the brother's heads, it would definitely have enriched things and given me a much greater understanding of the why’s of it all, why they had all evolved into these killing machines they now all were. The finish of this was then superb and that cliffhanger just left me wanting more. Definitely recommend this if you like your anti-heroes a lot twisted and on the dark side an excellent beginning to this series this one was so good.

I liked the start, female lead was kind of stupid, you know, with the whole getting off on Kral Drogo and calling a fucking dildo Tarzan, I liked the mismatched bra and panties, they added a realistic touch. Now for the other stuff. This girl gets kidnapped and starved and kept in a cell for well over 24 hr while she is chased around and made to participate in all sorts of stupid "games." Then guess what? After days of keeping her starved and chasing her around, one of the male lead comes in and is like "I'm gonna fuck you, don't scream, blah blah blah." And he does.

This girl hasn't showered or brushed her teeth in days. Like what. Bro must be des-pe-rate. Plus we repeatedly get told how hot these guys are, so what need did he have to fuck this girl who hasn't showered or brushed in days against her will? Another thing, why is so willing to drop to her kmees to fuck them? She's starved, dehydrated, unwashed, tired, most likely pissed off, and making claims all throughout about not being their sex slave. Then the minute one of the guys shows interest, she falls to her knees and allows it to happen. Now, don't get me wrong, she didn't have a chance in escaping if Marcus really wanted it, but there should have been some struggle mentally about how to escape this. All I read was her being so overcome by lust and not having been fucked properly for ages. I don't like calling anyone a slut because your body, your choice, but damn, how slutty can you get?
Then I go to spoilery reviews to see if its worth continuing and there is an orgy scene here with the guys with other girls and female-female action? HARD PASS. I don't do well with sharing, no thanks and I really feel authors need to include in the beginning if things like this will be present because its not everyone's cup of tea and no one wants to buy a book and then find out it has all the things they hate in the world

Plus we repeatedly get told how hot these guys are, so what need did he have to fuck this girl who hasn't showered or brushed in days against her will? Another thing, why is so willing to drop to her kmees to fuck them? She's starved, dehydrated, unwashed, tired, most likely pissed off, and making claims all throughout about not being their sex slave. Then the minute one of the guys shows interest, she falls to her knees and allows it to happen. Now, don't get me wrong, she didn't have a chance in escaping if Marcus really wanted it, but there should have been some struggle mentally about how to escape this. All I read was her being so overcome by lust and not having been fucked properly for ages. I don't like calling anyone a slut because your body, your choice, but damn, how slutty can you get?
Then I go to spoilery reviews to see if its worth continuing and there is an orgy scene here with the guys with other girls and female-female action? HARD PASS. I don't do well with sharing, no thanks and I really feel authors need to include in the beginning if things like this will be present because its not everyone's cup of tea and no one wants to buy a book and then find out it has all the things they hate in the world

Oh the drama. I’ve come to expect over the top, soap operatic twists and hella intense characters from Sherdain Anne- but Psychos takes it to the next level. And not only is it explosively entertaining and full of yummy drama and crazy characters, but Sheridan is just extra in everything- extra steamy, extra kinky, and definitely extra dark. Her books have certainly veered into the darkness, especially her most recent work, but this one has her most twisted relationship dynamics yet. For a relationship that begins with an eviction and a kidnapping, you know it’s gonna be good.
Our heroine Shayne is definitely the best part of Pyschos- she’s a triumph. She has the steely brass and sass that is trademark Sheridan Anne, but she also has a softness, a fragility that make her even more interesting and nuanced. Her humanity shines through in the way SA builds her arc, a smart juxtaposition when our “heroes” continue to dehumanize her and paint themselves in monstrous ways at first.
We have lots of twists and turns- and I’m really liking Shayne’s direction as a character. And, I’m warming up to these guys and the parallelisms between their trappedness. The story took me a while to get into though- which isn’t abnormal for me for a series starter, especially a RH where we have so many characters to get invested in, but it is accentuated by the distance we have from the guys early on, and just how (intentionally) unlikable they are at first. It took a while for the narrative to go somewhere given the book’s length- and Sheridan has a beautiful, but descriptive writing style that I love, but kept me twitchy for answers.
For some SA fans with triggers when it comes to dark relationship dynamics, you may want to consider carefully the trigger warnings on this.

I only recently discovered Sheridan Anne's books and have devoured every single one of them, and with each book, I fell even more in love with this authors ability to blow my mind. I knew going into Psycho, that it was going to be nothing less than incredible and I wasn't proven wrong.

I probably should've DNFed. 🫣 Didn't feel invested in any of the characters, and I felt too much cringe from all of the MMCs. I also didn't vibe with the FMC very early on, and that never changed. Spice was decent, at least, but even then, the dynamics didn't work for me, and I didn't feel the chemistry. Overall, there are other dark romance books that excited me and were more enjoyable from all fronts. I just didn't really care about anything going on here, and the pacing felt off. 😅

Yea no this was bad before I got to the girl on girl action from the guys fathers woman? I guess? Anyway it was already hard to keep reading and I'm not ashamed to say I skipped a heck of slot of inner thoughts and description that had me huffing and rolling my eyes .I literally was looking for the "" marks and would read then ....but it said little and was back to inner thoughts.
I didn't like the main female or the main men. I'm all for dark but this was nothing but long drawn out cell scenes by herself thinking and stupid games that had no meat . But then I get to the orgy party and I'm gonna be a hypocrite and say no to supposedly harem getting any kind of rub,touched ,kissed or bj by or any other kind of female attention no matter if they are solid yet or not . so 😜
Then come the lesbian scene no,just no 😒 I do not like reading this and she went into detail playing it off as the guys that made her want but no inny when I'm strictly an outtie . no apologies from me on that front . So take this as a whole the book was getting on my nerves the guys are ..well so far none redeemable ,Female main was stupid,weak and annoying add the sex orgy and lesbian annnnnnn I'm out .🙊
So this writer got three more books with this. Mind numbing inner thought and un redeemable dudes with female on female action and she goes on my do not read writer note pad . if its yours go for it .But I can enjoy psycho bad boys and love them but theses dudes with no care for her much less another woman in world ( and if I'm off on em ,writers fault you wrote the Easter egg to far in story ) and the f\f action and ima not wast my time .got lot of beloved authors that I stoped reading just because they started writing this way. The inner dialogue was painful for the first 1/3rd of the book. Hence the 3 stars. The story itself was good. If you can get past wanting to put a muzzle on the FMC’s mind :). I am glad I stuck it out and finished the book. It definitely got better and now with the cliffhanger… I’ll be reading the next.

I HATE when books are so mediocre but then have the most jaw dropping ending that makes me immediately want to read the next book😩 This book wasn’t for me- there didn’t seem to be any chemistry between the characters, the romance/spice came on too strong & too early, the whole plot is still a mystery to me even after finishing this book, and I’m hella confused as to what the vibe is because what do you mean they’re in the mafia but also are randomly living in a castle…? I feel like the author couldn’t decide whether she wanted a gothic romance, or a dark mafia romance because what was going on?! Now the ending was diabolical and almost had me picking up the sequel even though I probably should have dnf’d this book. I did love the Boys of Winter series, so I had high hopes for this one but alas it wasn’t my cup of tea.

Sheridan Anne is in my top 10 of favorite authors. She is also a 1-click author for me. I have read every series she writes and my favorite series basically changes to the most current. This series is now my absolute FAVORITE!!!!

Shayne is the FMC, she’s feisty and I normally claim one of the guys as mine but this time I’m claiming Shayne as mine.
The DeAngelis brothers Roman, Levi and Marcus are straight up psychos and I. Am. Here. For. It.
This is Sheridan’s darkest book yet with tons of blood, murder, more blood, some hot as sin sex scenes and complete mayhem!
Rollercoaster of emotions while reading this book. The action starts immediately and doesn’t stop, I was completely immersed in this story and I never wanted it to end.
I feel like this author is trying to outdo herself with her cliffhangers and if so, then she succeeded!
I can’t wait to find out what happens next!!
