This first book of the series starts with the Basics of Wicca and the history of Spell Jars. It is a good foundation and starting book for the series as it introduces the reader on the basics needed to make spell jars very much like a beginners' crochet or knitting book. I compare it to crafting because Spell Jars are Spell Crafts and you need the foundational knowledge to make more intricate items like doilies, blankets, sweaters and of course spell jars. It is a great introduction book.
