So why does everything feel off? Especially the weirdos who keep challenging him!
My Rating System: 5- Perfect for my taste, I could not physically stop reading/listening and wanted more afterward. 4- Almost perfect, could not stop reading/listening, probably wanted more afterward. 3- I enjoyed the book and could see others loving it, I need to think if I want more. 2- I can see why others might like the book, but I could not, I do not want more. 1- What is this? What went wrong? Why did they do this? This doesn't make any sense! (No idea who it is for, but definitely not for me).
Book 2 starts off exactly where book 1 left off and it was solid entry into the series. It kept Me engaged and intrigued the whole time. I will say I took off a star because while the book doesn’t end on a cliff hanger where it ended and who it ended it left me confused. I’m still going to pick up book 3
How shocking in a sect *home alone face*, the sect leader turns a blind eye to the crimes committed by a sect leader. Another shocker, sect elder not only turns a blind eye to the crimes of A BELOVED GRANDCHILD, but activity covers them up. Oh where do authors come up with these tropes? There must be a LAME TROPES FOR DUMMIES (Read dumbasses) book on Amazon
But add in the jarring sudden stop at the end and it rates a two star review. This lacks any continuity to the story, it just meanders about. The first half is dull, and the second half skips around with no direction. This feels unfinished and rushed out.
But, for the incisive I’ll say the story continues where the last novel end by expanding the MC’s world view threw exploration of the wider realm and the story adds side-stories to expand on other chacther actions/past that webnovel didn’t have. They’s points al say read the book you won’t regret it ever.
I enjoyed this second book in this series, you can definitely tell English is not this authors first language but it's not horrible. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
Wow I'm in love/obsessed with this series and I cannot wait to see what happens next!! Our MC is constantly gaining power, while constantly going through hardships. I am really excited for the next book, so please hurry!!
I can only say that I personally enjoy the depth of character to person, especially those you don't see often. As someone whose read the webnovel version I appreciated the bonus story for introducing someone who didn't get to shine enough.
