I’ve loved Bryce Alexander since we were kids, but he’s never seen me as anything more than a friend, or a broken little girl. It’s true I’ve been through a lot. I was abandoned by my mother when I was a little girl. My father checked out of raising me soon after. My grandma took me in and showed me what family was, and because of that, I have to make sure the cafe she left me succeeds. I’m working on healing from PTSD; the result of a high school trauma, and loneliness. But I still can’t get over Bryce. Even though it may be time to finally let him go.
Victoria J. Best writes contemporary romance with a sexy twist. She lives on the east coast with her husband, two kids, and two very spoiled pups. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, baking or crafting (probably in that order).
