The Best Friend's Mom, Book 3 of The Off-Limits Ladies series, was about Justin Maxwell, the owner of a consulting company, and Beth Conn, the mother of Paul Conn, who was Justin's BFF.
Beth, soon turning 40 years old, had just purchased a new home and had invited her son and his BFF to spend some vacation time with her. She arrived first, but Justin arrived soon after. The attraction between them was immediate, but Beth tried hard to ignore it. However, after learning her son wouldn't be joining them after all, Justin decided to make his move. After he took a dip in the pool, he went in search of Beth, only to hear her indulging in a little self-care in the tub. Knowing that he decided he'd pleasure her before their vacation was over.
Once again, this micro-story, only 8 chapters long, had very little content, no real plot, hardly any angst, and no drama at all. It was another insta-lust story that had the two main characters in bed before their first night together was over. There was no build-up, no true climax (other than in bed), and no push-pull between the two main characters. The story ended a month after it began, but that month was all off-page. The one somewhat spicy scene was more like reading an instruction manual than it was about the spice. It was bland. even that climax was...anti-climatic. Once again, there was no build-up. They started, and then they...just finished. The end. It was one of the most emotionless, passionless "spice" scenes I've ever had the misfortune to read. And after the month ended? They told her son, who apparently wasn't surprised and just...accepted it because he was glad to see his mom was happy. No. Drama. Nothing. It just...ended.
Once again, I was disappointed with both the story and the author. I've given her three chances to this point, and now I have learned there isn't just one more book, but two more books. Although "Book 5" is actually supposed to be a part of a different series, it was about the coach's twin from Book 2. So I might have to force myself to read the next two. I'm just afraid I'll regret it. Again, I can't give this story more than a single-star rating.

Justin was secretly thrilled to be alone with her. He has been in love with her since he was thirteen. After taking a run and a dip in the pool, he goes into get Beth when he hears her having a pleasurable time in the tub. Justin is happy to hear this. He knows what he needs to di. To make Beth his.
At dinner, they enjoy each others company when one of them confesses their attraction to the other. All bets are off. They spend all week together. Well being wrapped around each other kissing when Paul walked in shocked that his mom and his best friend were kissing each other. Justin goes after him to explain how he has loved his Mom for years. Then his Mom v comes in to talk and tells Paul Justin makes her very happy. Yes there is an age difference but to them age is just a number. When you love each other nothing can get in there way.
Months after being together, Paul is still trying g to get use to the relationship but happy to see his Mom over the moon happy. Paul and Justin are still best friends.

What do you do when you end up on vacation alone with your best friend’s mom and woman of your fantasies? You let her know how badly you want her. At least that’s what Justin does when he finds himself alone with Beth and realizes she feels their chemistry too. He’s ready to show her how good they can be together.
I liked the characters in this book. Beth and Justin are so great together. Justin is everything you would hope to find in a book boyfriend. Sweet, attentive, kind, and puts Beth above all else. Beth is a great mom who’s been single for too long. Now that her son is grown it’s time for her to find her HEA. I liked these two as a couple and their steam was super hot. This book is a fun quick read with plenty of heat.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
The best friend’s mom is the third book in the ‘’off limits ladies’’ series.
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Justin has been attracted to his best friend’s mom for years. When he ends up on a vacation alone with her will he get a chance with her?
The chemistry between Justin and Beth is clear to see and I liked them together.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I look forward to more books from this series.

Justin, the male lead, has loved Beth, the female lead and his best friend’s mum, since he was a teen. When Paul invites him to join Beth and him on a family holiday, he does. Then, when Paul can’t make it because of work, Justin stays. And maybe Beth is interested in the man he’s become…
This short story is dual POV, well written, and a hot, steamy, older woman/younger man romance - a trope I greatly enjoy. I appreciated the relationship development, since it builds on a pre-existing relationship.

This book is about Justin and Beth. Beth is turning 40 and goes on a family holiday with her grown son and his best friend Justin. When things turn, Beth and Justin end up along on vacation. This book is and older woman younger man romance. It is the best friends mother taboo romance. It is a short quick read with some hot and steamy scenes. I enjoyed reading this book.

The author has given us a wonderful older woman/younger man story that pulls us into the lives of Beth and Justin and does not let go. He has been in love with her since he was a teenager and is now supposed to spend a week with Beth, without the buffer of his best friend. Will he be able to convince her that they belong together, and will she be able to get past the age difference?

This was a fast and steamy read short story that will have you saying hello Ms Robinson lol Beth rents a beautiful h house for week and has her son Paul and his best friend Justin showing up but when sparks fly between them can they stay away from each other? I loved this story so much! It's short, sweet, with some steam, and a side of forbidden love. As a 40 years old single woman, Beth is shocked that she's having entertaining thoughts of her son'd best friend Justin, 16 years her junior.
Good characters, hot steam, and a sweet ending. I am however a bit disappointed... I wanted a longer epilogue, and more of the two of them together.

The Best Friend's Mom is an older woman/younger man story. Justin has been in love with his best friend's mother since he was 13. Now he's grown up and has the perfect opportunity to win her over when his best friend leaves the two of them alone during the holidays. A short but very enjoyable story.
