Kameron Ford can lick the bottom of my shoe.

5 —idk what kind of cracks the author puts in her novellas, but im eating it up— stars.

The writing? Addicting, so poetic at times. To resume it, splendid."See, Aria Castillo has always reminded me of English Ivy. At first glance, the plant is nothing more than any other green foliage. When it’s still small, it’s not really a big deal or something that even stands out among a bush of roses.
But then it starts to grow. Its tendrils stretch upward, wrapping around anything it can grasp, and soon, it’s overtaking an entire wall, forcing its presence to be recognized. It’s then you see it for what it really is. It’s beautiful. Breathtaking. Commanding and resilient."

No matter how long has passed, every time I see her, my heart nearly doubles its pace."

Please this was so so much better than what I had originally anticipated. The only thing wrong with this book is the fact that it's a novella. I loved Aria and Kameron! They actually had good personalities and I ate it up! It made me laugh and swoon and frantically fan myself.
The writing was immaculate which is why it gets a solid five stars. It was the perfect novella imo.
Definitely will reread because whew I loved it!

This one was pretty fast and I do love a frenimes to lovers. That's what Aria and Kam were since they were kids.
They always tried to up one another since forever this time its at a carnival both firefighters and police are in the same booth funnel cakes. Aria and Kam make a bet whoever sales more wins the bet. Both do have some sexual tension towards one another and Aira takes her win when they are on the ferries wheel but that doesnt stop them from making mini bets on who can make the other cum. They thought one taste would be enough oh no lol
The rest of the book I won't say more so have a fun read. I can't wait for Lee Halloween one!!

Who knew sensation play could be so sensational! This was a quick and steamy read and I really enjoyed Aria and Kam's banter. The tension and build up was delicious. Aria and Kam have an enemies-to-lovers vibe and have skirted their feelings for each other for awhile until they make a bet.
When Aria wins the bet and Kam rocks her world on the ferris wheel, they realize one taste will never be enough.
Seriously, this was a HOT little read that I enjoyed immensely. Aria was a fun and vibrant character and Kam was dominant and protective. Their chemistry was fire and if Kam wasn't a firefighter, my Kindle may have burst into flames.

Too much miscommunication for a novella.
Even for a erotic novella/erotica this had a very thin plot.
The main characters had very little depth/substance and were forgettable.
The chemistry was lacking and forced.
The constant competing between the main characters was over the top and immature…. But also tedious.
The story is too short and rushed not enough time to really delve into the kink/kinks.
Somewhat clunky pacing.
Too many clichés.
Repetitive.
Rushed.

Jacquot’s novellas are quickly becoming a favourite of mine! They’re the perfect quick, steamy read for a break. Every time I finish one, I want to read more about the couple!

The stakes are usually random/gross like eating a lime from the floor, but this time it is much more interesting - themselves. The entire novella happens within a night but it never felt rushed. The rivals to lovers was absolutely delicious. The banter and tension had me smiling so hard, and I couldn’t get enough.
Aria and Kam were everything, and I don’t know how but every single one of their interaction were hot😮💨. I never knew I needed a fmc cop/mmc firefighter trope in my life but I loved every minute.
