Fun Ride
I really liked this book. When Ava approaches the odd man at the bar, little did she know her life was about to change.
Ava and Hudson were cute and it was nice to see her be patient with him and slowly get him to open up.
If you’ve read some of the author’s other books, you’ll recognize some familiar faces. It was nice to check back in with everyone and continue the stories. I wouldn’t mind seeing more stories of the team.
Rarely do mysteries and twists actually surprise me, but I honestly had no clue who Janus was. So that was exciting to be going along with the book trying to figure it out.
4.5 stars. Check it out!

Action, Mystery, Love🙌🏽❤️🔥
This is my first book by this author and I truly enjoyed the story of Hudson, Ava and all the other characters as they navigate through mystery, suspense, action, drama and love❤️.
Ava approaching Hudson at the bar certainly changed their world forever. Hudson’s dangerous life meant no romance, let alone settling down to start a family, but Ava had a strong affect on him🥰. I appreciated how Hudson’s brother and his family welcomed Ava when she was still struggling with her own feelings. Hudson did everything to keep Ava safe and to not lose her because of his profession❤️. Janus is sick and twisted and a tricky guy seemingly steps ahead of everyone causing fear to enact a sick twisted revenge😖. He had me guessing all through book. I am happy that in the end Hudson and Ava get their HEA. Their chemistry was hot and both deserved to have each other in their life🥰.
This book had everything to keep you on your toes😨. Enjoyed all the suspense, love, and mystery. I understand there are earlier books that feature the brother and other characters in this book so I’ll need to go check those out. Glad I found this author and looking forward to reading the other books👍🏽.

What a thrilling, action packed journey! I loved Ava and Hudson's meeting, as they were adorable together. But, Ava had no idea that the odd guy from the bar, was so involved in "that life"! She could have run scared, but she knew in her heart that Hudson would never allow anyone to hurt her. Hudson, never got close to anyone ever! But, there was something about Ava that called to him, and he couldn't stay away! The suspense, twists and turns keep me on my toes the entire read! Everytime I thought I figured out who Janus was, I came up empty! That Janus, although a psychopath, was brilliant! He was always one step ahead of the team, throwing them off their game, until he wasn't! Really good read! 👍👍👍

Loved it
I found another great author that I have got to follow. Wow this was a awesome story. I do have a question will I read this I had to see what the author name was a go and look at other stories, that’s when I saw there were 2 stories, Evan & Javier. But there was no story for Hyun-ri and Kit, so is there story coming, I would definitely buy that. Can’t wait for whatever your working on, I should have all your stories read before the June 9, that gives me a week. Truthfully I should be finished way before then.
This is a fabulous story read it with that special someone or by yourself in a nice bubble bath with scented candles and that special glass of wine.
I found another great author that I have got to follow. Wow this was a awesome story. So good
This book was so good and full of suspense. I couldn't put it down. I love how Hudson and Ava fell on love. I was so scared that Hyun-ri was a traitor. This is the type of book that you need to read for yourself. If I could give ten stars, I would. The writing was awesome, the ending was how an ending is supposed to be. I can't wait to read Evan's story. Although, I should have read it before Hudson's. I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! DONT MISS READING IT IS A TREAT.

Awesome Addition
I love Ms. Bryant’s stories and versatility as an author. The first book I read by her was The Wolf and the Thief and didn’t realize that the two books were connected. I will have also go back and read Evan’s story. I loved the gentle romance between Hudson and Ava and enjoyed all the twists as Evan, Hudson, Javier and Hyun-ri finally came face to face with Janus. I would love to read the backstory of Hyun-ri!

Everyone deserved true happiness, something he has never experienced…

The Unknown can kill you sometimes!
Ava met Hudson and with Hudson came the magnification of a problem she did not even know was aimed her way! Then, the target that was pointed at Hudson amplified and dragged Ava into the plot! But, Hudson was part of a team that included his brother and 2 other well equipped men. With these men came wives and babies, who became kindred spirits who provided support and comfort through the frightmare they would need to conquer! 🤗

Dangerous Allies
I give this modern day love story a five star rating because it was filled with love, drama and suspense from being to end, loved reading about all the characters and was glad they all made it back home to their family members. Kudos can’t wait to read about how Evan and Julianna me and fell n love.

great read
This is actually a really good book! Would love to see this as a movie. The author did a great job in keeping the identity of the villain a mystery. Usually I am able to figure stuff like that out from the very beginning! I am definitely adding her to my list of fav authors

Good.
I liked the book. I think the reasoning behind Janus could of been a bit better thought out but overall the book wasn't bad. I liked Hudson and Ava relationship. And how he gradually let down his walls for her. Still not clear if they kill the guy that hurt their parents or let him go?

This is a love, GI Joe on steroids. Hudson, Ava, Evan, Julianna, Javier, Amirah, Agman and Kit they survived!!!
Hate, love and pycho makes for a great read.

Wonderful Read
Wow this story was great. Hudson and the gang were no joke. I’m gland that Frank and Janus got what was coming to them. Ava was a sweetheart for the love she had for Hudson.

To love and life
A great love story with a great storyline. Plenty of action and it was suspenseful. I was truly surprised as to who the opponent was. Sibling rivalry can be harmless most times, but in this case this guy is psycho.

A really great read, excellent storytelling, enjoyed the way the story and characters were built. This book dangled the line hooked you in and that was it, sheer engrossing entertainment. I recommend.

Lots of suspense, action, and twists. Great sex scenes. But not enough feel good romantic moments. In other words, the romance aspect felt tertiary to the story as a whole. 3.5 Stars.

Hudson and Ava
They were drawn together and never thought it would give them more than expected. Oh, what a tangled web is weaved when many practice to deceive. I am so glad Hudson received a story and found love with Ava, which he kept denying even though it was right in front of him. What I tried figure out is how did Janus make the connection between Ava and Hudson to use Frank?
