At the mercy of her father's dark machinations, Nell's whole world is once again torn apart, and a devastating loss sends her reeling through other worlds besides. Relentlessly pursued by her enemies, with new, unruly powers at her disposal, Nell must scour the darkest corners of the cosmos for answers, as well as the darkest corners of her mind for the strength to persevere.[THIS SERIES IS INTENDED TO BE READ IN NUMERICAL ORDER]
Abe Moss has been writing horror stories for as long as he can remember, and hopes to never stop. He loves creature-features, psychological horror, supernatural horror, cosmic horror, you name it. With each book he writes, he hopes to try something a little different. The possibilities are endless and that's what he really loves about storytelling. He hopes you'll enjoy his stories, too!
Wow, this book really stepped away from much of what the others were like. But I really enjoyed that. Wondering if Nell, Hux, Tessie and Lisa were going to survive everything they went through kept me from putting the book down. It pulled me in from the beginning and raced through to the end.
We were able to get a few glimpses into the past of Lisa, Tessie and Anne-Marie. Frances and Anne-Marie have plans to use Nell no matter what it does to her. This book barely gave you a moment to catch your breath before plunging into the next horrible situation.
I really like the direction the storyline is going. Strange lands, creatures, great characters and so much more. I think this is the fastest I've read one of the books in the series. I also like the fact each book just barely brings up something from the previous story. So many in a series spend so much time saying the same things in each book. Glad Abe Moss doesn't do that.
October can't get here soon enough to see what happens next.
Again Abe Moss has written a new book of the series that is outstanding! I have read many of Abe Moss's books and am excited to recommend this book and the whole series to readers that like suspense, mystery and intrigue. You will not be disappointed. When I opened the new book I always feel that I am coming home. The characters, each one stands out in its own way and you know they will lead you into the new book to help them solve the problems.
I received this book as an ARC from the Author for an honest review.
This book Had just a bit too much going on, too many different things all at once. And on the last chapter for Nell when she was making the phone call to Hux's son Nathan, it's stated that she was worried that Nathan maybe mad that Hux had not called him back and may have given him the wrong phone number. However that made no sense because he only gave the phone number to Hux one time and it was after that one time that Hux did not call him. So if he gave the wrong number it would not have been because he had not been called back. Other than those 2 minor issues it was a great book as have they all been so far and I am about to dive in to the next and last episode. I am going to miss reading this story when I am done!
This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series! Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story. Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read more of these. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
This is the 6th book in the Dread Void series. Everything is coming to a head right now with Nell, Hux, Tessie and Lisa in danger. They have to try to save themselves from Nell’s estranged father, Francis, and Anne-Marie. Francis and Anne-Marie want to take Nell’s gift for their own and are not stopping at anything. The book ends in a cliffhanger and I am eagerly waiting for the next book. I received an ARC copy from the author and this is my honest review.
Abe Moss has become one of my favorite authors with his Dread Void series! His ability to tell a story and draw you into that world is amazing! Once again Anne Marie and Francis are up to no good and it's up to Hux, Tessie, Nell and Lisa to stop their plan. But when things start to go bad, chaos ensues. Seriously, if you haven't read this series, READ IT NOW! Highly recommend!
Abe Moss’ level of creativity reaches new heights in this 6th book of the Dread Void series, especially when he’s describing the various worlds his characters travel to during their adventures. I’m certainly looking forward to seeing how he pulls it all together in the final volume! It’s on to book 7!
Tessie visits with some kind of god like people who give her new powers and now she's deadly. Nell gets kidnapped again and is forced to endure the unthinkable.... She absorbs the Void Travelers including her beloved Hux! She is trying to get him back and stay away from her "Dad" and his psycho friend Ann Marie! Excellent reading
Another strong book in the dread void series! Love the author's writing style. Fast paced, lots of action with some twists and turns. Great characters, strong storyline which keeps getting better with each book. Looking forward to the next book.
Across the Haunted Stars is book 6 in the Dread Void Series. These books continue to get better and better. Hux, Nell, Tessie and Lisa are all going through a lot of things. There are strange creatures in strange lands. Very fast paced book.
Another great book in the series. Wishing one thing hadn't happened, but should work out in the very end. Tessie really goes through the wringer in this one. Will be interesting to see what she is required to do to keep her power. Won't be good.
This is a great series of good verses evil but not in the way that these are generally written. I was hooked with this series from book one. It really is a great story.
The dark wonders of the Void. A teenage girl who is abducted and escapes into the Void. Another fascinating story about the Dread Void which was enthralling. The author's vivid imagination will transport you to different realms in the Void, most of them frightening. The villains seem to delight in their invincibility. Suspenseful and intriguing
