I loved this book on dieting. Its more about eating right and when to eat. I had read this book at MD Anderson Cancer Center library when I was there in 2006 recovering. Many people there recommended it. I made a lot of friends there. This book helped them tremendously.
This book, recommended to my husband and me by a professional nutritionist, contains, predictably, lots of testimonials from people who have lost weight and kept it off through sensible eating plans and moderate exercise. Yes, this is all painfully obvious, but it's always nice to renew one's own motivation by reading about other people's ongoing success in the battle of the bulge. This book includes a lot of lists and recipes for more low-fat, low-sugar, low-calorie eating. Great advice. But so far, it hasn't stopped me from craving brownies and Hershey kisses.
This book is amazing. It is all about the "masters" of weight loss which are people who have lost on average 60 pounds and have kept it off for..I cant remember how long. But it is really motivating, and the applesauce-oatmeal muffin recipe in the book is AMAZING!
