When I sit next to the river, in the quietness of late afternoon, I swear I can feel the presence of God. The same river that called me to Madrid a year ago without me fully understanding the strength of the pull yet. This September I found myself, for the third time in my life moving to a different country to live for a while. I thought I had control over my destiny, I thought that after all the changes I have lived I would want something safe, comfortable and simple. The problem is: transformation doesn't happen in safe, comfortable and simple. Transformation happens as we take genuine, courageous and deliberate steps towards our future and also when we surrender to the higher power that moves us all. This book is about my experience of seeing the signs, following them and listening hard. God speaks to us in many ways: through people, experiences and in my case, through this river. So when the river spoke, I listened.

Is does make you feel you do need to listen to the river when it speaks. When life speaks to you, you need to listen and go with its flow, it will take you to where your heart is and/or should be. Couldn't help being emotional with these poems. Thank you for this book. Loved it!
