Horror story... But that's the topic, the book itself is fine. I don't really like books about personal stories much (my sister lent it to me), although it suits this topic. Still, I would have skimmed a lot of the personal stories (I get that on Facebook Groups where you can ask questions). I generally found it quite depressing, but if you are surrounded by those women who tell you menopause is no problem and you feel like it's just you, then it's a bit comforting to know it's not just you. In fact it could be worse and go on for ages... Yay.
