*Warning, extreme content*Sian has taken over her late mother's psychic reading shop. With no experience, She's surprised when a vision of hers comes true. She's uncovering the fate of her clients, as well as the truth about herself along the way. With Lazlo's guidance, she doesn't have to do it alone.
Rayne lives in the Arizona desert, free to leave her house whenever she wants, she chooses not to risk death by sweltering sun demons. Instead, she stays safely indoors with a computer and all the words she knows, slapping them together in any which way she chooses in the moment. Often gory, sometimes erotic. She loves the limitless boundaries of writing, and tends to push them toward extreme.

No-one but Rayne Havoc could make becoming a demon sound like so much fun. Throw caution to the wind. If you think you can handle all the triggers surrounding this transformation, grab your copy and start reading.
What a beautifully, brutal, fucked up, insane, bloody, demon love story!! (I wanna be a demon now, sounds fun! 😉😈) Another triumph from Rayne, I love how she packs so much unto such a short space, you feel like you've read a novel, and I say that in the best possible way!! Brilliant! Now....on to the next!! 😁
It's a love story.. A beautiful bloody grotesque love story. I can't say I blame Sian, I probably couldn't resist the delicious fukboy that was Lazlo either.. but hey even the demons within can be pussy whipped.. Like all Rayne reads.. Triggers a plenty and going in blind is the best way.
This is a hidden gem. It starts out pretty neat because psychics are interesting and not something I read much about..And let's face it, many of them are fake and scammers. But what if it opened a new world to you, as a psychic? . What price would you pay to be what you always knew you were? The ending of this book was like a goatee of good. 5 awesome stars
If you want to read about people getting fucked up in the most extraordinary and amusing ways 'The Other Place 'is where it's at. Don't believe me then how about Richard? He wandered in off the street to get his fortune read and ended up having his severed dick shoved up his ass.
I love Rayne's style of writing, its visceral and bloody. It has major WTF appeal. She never disappoints.
Sian is fast becoming one of my favorite Havok characters. I can't wait to see what this bloody little minx is going to get up to next.
Another disturbing tale by the talented Rayne Havok
The worst thing I can say about it this story is it could use some edits. Nothing bad enough to take away from the overall story at all. As a freelance editor I can say that not all spelling errors are necessarily the fault of the author. And even if they are, so what? Use your context clues to figure out what they mean and just enjoy the story. ;) I actually hope the author revisits this at another time and perhaps more information about "The Other Place" is explored as well as how it came to be and who else inhabits the world. As usual Rayne throws some pretty hot scenes in there so you are forced to deal with certain..urges. Then she drops a bomb on you and you feel incredibly guilty for finding a scene so hot. Definitely not a bedtime story. Or for the faint of heart. Just how I like it!
Yeahhhh that's one mystic shop I definitely don't fancy visiting lol.. I loved this kills in this one the supernatural element let Rayne open up to some other worldly killing. I may be a little in love with Lazlo myself.
This one actually has a bit of love story which I really enjoyed. It was a neat concept and of course all the gory, nasty, where-the-hell-does-she-come-up-with-this-shit morbidity that seems to be a staple in all the Rayne Havok stories. I wasn't totally sure where this one was going, but I wasn't disappointed. It was on the PNR side which opened a few extra possibilities and had a unique take on demons.
This was a great read for the extreme horror readers. A short story that packs a punch with everything thrown in from blood gore evil brutality with a side helping of sex. great great little story that packs a punch. Not for the easily offended or squeamish but definitely recommended to everyone else for a quick read.
I loved this book! Well, I love all of Rayne's books but this is one of my favs now. And I can't really say why bc I don't want to spoil anything for anyone else.. it's just badass and awesome, and of course bloody & brutal!! 5/5 deranged skulls 💀
Rayne does it again. Her writing is getting stronger as her characters become more well rounded and more developed. This story was no exception, bloody, sexy and just plain vile! If you want to read something and be confused if you should be repulsed or turned on, then this is the book for you. I'm not sure if I should rub one out or go take a shower for 3 hrs.. I can't wait for her next one!
No doubt Rayne Havock is one of the most visual writers .this book takes your mind on a wild ride ....and it’s a good one to. Never disappoint I been waiting a while for new material from Rayne and it's better than ever. Thank you 🤯🤯mind blown away again. Keep them coming
Oh man, this bad boy is 125 pages and I finished it in an hour. I mean, at first, I was like oh this pretty tame for a Havok book. We get the backstory of Sian and how she lost her mom suddenly and learn about the shop she has taken over. We learn she is a full-on sceptic so her intention seems to be more toward keeping her mom's psychic shop going. Of course, she soon becomes a believer. When she meets Lazlo. Although meet is a very loose term, considering there encounter becomes gorific and sexual pretty damn quickly! So Rayne tricked me into a false sense of security before unleashing her hail storm of gore, horror and nastiness. Oh and Sian well she lets her freak flag fly and becomes a hell of a beast. Very much her own kind of monster even one-upping the actual demon she has become lovers with. But holy hell was this addictive and the further you go down the rabbit hole with Sian. The darker shit gets and the twist at the end was just perfect and really made for an insane finale.
I really loved this one. Really cool concept and just plain crazy and brutal like all of her books. And of course couldn't put it down. I'm slowly realizing I like the weird stuff mixed with my extreme horror and Rayne always delivers that.
Absolutely love everything Rayne Havok puts out however, I feel like the stories would be better if there were a better editor. Some of the grammatical errors just rub me wrong. One other tiny thing, I wish the dialogue was more mature in some places?? I don’t want to read about how the killer ‘like totally, like, hates, like….’ Some of the dialogue gives juvenile and ‘Clueless’ vibes. But I’ll never stop reading her stories just because of these 2 tiny things. Writing takes time and courage and I’m here to read any and everything!
I really liked the concept in this story. The demon angle was very intriguing. I am heartbroken that I have now read everything Rayne has out, but I have no regrets. I fully recommend this bokk and author but for $hits sake.. take the trigger warning ⚠️ seriously.
Entertaining 'monsters in love-story' or demons. I would have fallen for Lazlo too, idk why 😉 seems they are the perfect couple. Wish it would have been longer
This was crazy-pants in the most absurd way. We've got the erotic extreme horror, as Ms. Havok is known for, with the added joy of demons...because why not?
I can't even fathom how to describe this without spoiling it, but it gets right into it with a minimum of build-up. Its like a good erotica story. Don't dawdle with foreplay. Go straight for the jugular and that's what happened here.
4.75 out of 5 severed thumbs-up.
(.25 taken off for typos, such as "patients" instead of "patience," for example).
All of Havok’s books are very entertaining and this one was no exception. Demon sex, brutal kill scenes and a great main character (Sian) make for one helluva fun read. If you like your horror extreme then this one’s for you.
It's not my favourite story from this author. However, I still devoured it in one sitting. A lot happened in the short story it is! This read is not for the faint of heart, while remaining on the milder side for Havok. It's great for a quick read!
