He might be the leader of a mercenary group, but he is not the boss of her. Nuh-uh. No way.

Theodore “Bear” Knight owns the Bang Shift Garage, but it’s his role as team leader of a secret mercenary group that forces him to keep one fiery redhead at arm’s length. With no other outlet for their magnetic attraction, innocent flirting turns into heated bickering. Although he’d rather her hate him than risk her life, that stance is put to the ultimate test when a hit on the garage thrusts her right into the path of a notorious mafia assassin. Nothing will stop Bear from protecting the woman he craves. Not even the little spitfire herself.

Roxie Willis has it bad for the bearded hottie she calls Teddy, but any hope of something real shattered one drunken, passionate night years ago. He either doesn’t remember their wild ride or pretends it never happened. Now, Teddy not only revs her engine but her attitude, and she dishes out a big ol’ helping of it when her life is suddenly in danger because of him. She refuses his ridiculous plan of protection, but she should’ve known the bossy leader of the Bang Shift mercenaries wouldn’t play fair.

Bear and Roxie continue to fight temptation and each other, but when they learn it might not have been a coincidence she was at the garage that fateful day, neither are prepared for the fallout.

Will Bear and Roxie finally get their happily-ever-after, or will painful secrets from the past ruin their chances of ever having a future together? Find out in this explosive finale of the Bang Shift Series!

*A steamy contemporary, full-length romantic suspense, featuring mercenaries and the mafia. Although this is a standalone, it is also the final book in The Bang Shift Mercenary Series, so reading in series order is suggested for best enjoyment.*

Bear and Roxie have been bubbling along in the background. We've never really known why Roxie is so anti-Bear but all is made clear!

Bear and Roxie clearly have chemistry but they always seem to be at odds. Roxie is stubbornly independent, even when she clearly needs help to keep her son and herself safe.

Roxie's son is a great kid but he'll be going to college soon and he wants his mum to be happy. He already knows and loves the members of Bang Shift, especially Bear so he's #TeamBear when Bear finally makes a move when Roxie is in danger.

With the team now coupled up, kids are popping out or being adopted, it's a great way to end the series. I really empathised with Roxie - she feels she needs to have only her son in her life, since her man-radar seems to have a permanent bend in it for horrible men. Bear is suitably disturbed when he finds out what is happening to Roxie and is in total warrior made when he finds out WHO is behind it!

Plenty of steam, witty banter between the MC's and the Bang Shift Crew. I really hope we haven't seen the last of them - I'd love a next generation or a new team carrying on their work!

This is book eight in The Bang Shirt Series and the final book in this amazing series and it is Bear and Roxie's story and it is definitely a must read. Bear owns the big band garage and he is also part of a secret team of mercenaries and even though he wants to be with Roxie he keeps her at arms length so that he never puts her and her son in danger. Roxie is a single mom and independent, sassy, strong and her son is all she needs in her life and everything else just falls by the wayside but when danger comes calling it is Bear that steps in to help keep Roxie and her son safe and protected and he is also determined to eliminate the threat. The chemistry between Bear and Roxie is so hot, strong and intense but will they be able to move forward and put aside all the problems to give them both the happy ending that they both deserve. I absolutely loved this book so much and I couldn't put it down as it was so addictive with a great storyline that pulled you in and kept your attention throughout and what an amazing end to this series. I can't wait to read more book's by Mandy Harbin in the future.

Bear & Roxie

The final book in the Bang Shift series. Will Bear and Roxie end the feud and find the love that fires it? For years the two have battled their feelings, throwing out sass and attitude rather than the chemistry of firey romantic feelings they fight.

She's a single mom with a great kid about ready to empty her nest. She'll do whatever it takes to give him the life he deserves. Bear/Teddy as she calls him loves the kid too and does whatever he can to be a male example for him. After years of keeping her away to protect her from the dangerous Mercenary team he secretly leads, that danger is getting too close. How will he protect her? Can he?

A fitting end to a great series. The guys are mostly paired up and starting families, they've cleared out some disloyalty and added those questioned but proven a loyal and active part of their team. Now Bear just has to give into his feelings and trust he can protect the family he wants despite his job.

Steam, witt, danger, great characters, and all the best necessary at THE END.

Bear & Roxie have been written in the stars since the beginning of this series, but they've been fighting their feelings for years. He owns the Bang Shift Garage while secretly leading a team of mercenaries, and he wants to keep her away from his secret team which is why he keeps her at arms length. She's a single mother who is almost over the top independent so she's going to do whatever it takes to take care of her son, and she feels by herself is the way to go so she's not about to ask anyone for help. They have serious chemistry, but it's when Roxie is in danger that Bear makes a move & frankly, it was about time LOL! I loved this story so much, and I feel like Mandy Harbin saved the best for last (even though I don't want to say goodbye), so it was easy to devour it in one sitting, especially with twists coming in hot. There's also heat, and angst to round it out perfectly. I love to reread books/series that I love, and this series is definitely one that I'll revisit over & over again so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is the eighth book in this incredible series and is finally Bear and Roxie’s journey. Bear owns the Bang Shift garage and is the team leader is a secret group of mercenaries. Roxie is a single mom who is a little spitfire, stubborn, and fiercely independent, and she and Bear butt heads, but when she needs help to protect herself and her son, he will do whatever he must to keep them safe and protected. This is a well written story which has undeniable chemistry, wonderful characters, secrets, danger, suspense, intrigue, humor, witty banter, emotions, mystery, twists, romance, and love, which leads to a steamy and compelling page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Bear and Roxie . . .

It’s difficult to protect the ones you love while fighting off the feelings that are pulling you together. Theodore “Bear” Knight, also known as “Teddy” by Roxie, is the owner of a garage and leads a secret mercenary team. His love interest is Roxie Willis, but he has to deny that and keep her safe. All that emotion has to go somewhere, so the two of them bicker and argue. Now that pretense no longer seems to be working when there is a hit on his garage that puts Roxie in danger. How can Bear keep her safe? How can he convince her to allow him to try? Additional information raises suspicion about that hit and Roxie’s presence. Bear is in high protective mode! Will their situation ever settle down into a HEA for the two of them?

Title: Bear
Author: Mandy Harbin
Format: ebook
Genre: Romantic Suspense, Small Town, Black Ops, Second Chance
Standalone: yes
Part of a Series:,The Bang Shift book 8
POV: Bear, Roxie
Steam Level: slow burn to steamy
5/5

Bear is the final book in the Bang Shift series. Everything was building to this book which is an epic conclusion. I highly recommend reading the series in order to avoid spoiled. . However because each book is a different couple they can also be read as interconnected standalone. Mandy Harbin masterfully built this series, seamlessly interweaving couples and storytelling that built slowly to the events this book. Storylines are closed and I loved the epilogue. I also loved Roxie and Bear’s first meeting and finally finding out what happened that night and afterward. The plot twists and Intricacies of this story, thus whole series is amazing

Last book in the series and I have been looking forward to getting to know overprotective and sometimes overbearing Bear and the fiercely independent and sensitive Roxie. Throughout the series we are shown their tempestuous interactions and now in the final book we get all the answers. It's an action-packed, fun and addictive story filled with twists and turns that I didn't see coming and it kept me glued to the pages. We get to see all characters from the previous books, friend and foe, brought together for one explosive finale.

In the final book of the Bang Shift Garage, it centers around Theodore “Bear” Knight, the owner. He also leads the mercenary group, it has required to keep Roxie at arms length for her safety. The two have such chemistry with no outlet they bicker constantly. When Roxie's life is in danger because of his group, there is no way he going to continue to keep her away from him.

Roxie will not accept his protection just because he said so. Bear goes out all to convince her. There is so much danger ahead, can everyone come out on the other side?.

Bear: A Grumpy Sunshine Mercenary Romance (The Bang Shift Mercenaries book 8)

Almost all the mysteries of the mafia connections are revealed in this final book in the series. Little did Roxie or Bear realize that there were insidious events and people doing everything in their power to keep Roxie and Bear apart and not allowing their magnetic attraction become real. The plot within plots kept me on my toes and second guessing and that’s all I WILL reveal. Read this excellent story but if you haven’t read the previous 7 titles then I recommend you read in sequence, you will love each and every hero’s and heroine’s story!

Wow. I'm sad to see this series end. We finally find out what happened between Roxie and Bear and wow. I couldn't put book down once started.

I loved Roxie and Bear together, they have been flirting with each other for years, but outside forces stopped them being together. They are so perfect for each other. When Roxie needs help Bear is there for her.

I highly recommend this series.

Good read

The beginning was a bit confusing and overwhelming as all the characters were explained. I wish I'd started with book 1 and workedu way up to this one. Once I worked my way into the book, it was great! I loved all the characters, especially Roxie who is a no nonsense woman who loves hard.

This is book eight in this series The Bang Shift and my first book to read. I will have to go back and red the previous ones to get the full background story. The story flows well, the characters are likeable and have great chemistry. These two characters are complete opposites, yet they fit perfectly together. This is their journey to a happily ever after.

This is a great story that keep you on the edge of your seat and while melting your heart. Bear and Roxie may not see eye to eye on things, but when her world takes a turn, Bear is the first on there for her.

Great suspense, chemistry and intrigue that you will not want to put down.
